It looks fine how you did it Paula, but I think that when you score one inch away from the 10x14 rectangle, without going right through, it provides a lip. The one inch edge puffs up and the centre stays flat when you fork it. But it still likes nice the way that you did it.

It’s the nitrate that is carsenogenic. You can buy bacon without nitrates. Looks wonderful.

I've made this several times for catering events. I leave it in a rectangle and with a knife cut a dashed line an inch from the edges so that when it bakes the edges rise up taller and it makes border to keep the filling inside. I then dock the center with a fork then add the toppings and bake.
Funny, I’m still reluctant to use my Air Fryer. Trying interesting recipes for Fall. You have helped me for years, find wonderful new and old recipes for delicious meals.
Roxanne here - I guess my recipe wasn't clear. I use rectangular cookie sheets. And it's with either boursin or rondele or gruyere - your choice.. But yours looks amazing and I'm going to tweak it now.
