But isn't that true for permanent color? Since the ends are dryer than the roots it picks up color more easily? I know they were using semi-permanent color in these videos, but maybe the girl didn't realize what she was really using.
@@inesfortuna6749 at this point Brad needs to do a video on the basics of bleach, semi-permanent and permanent color 😂 so we all have clear information cause i swear he has said permanent color should be applied to the roots first because it takes longer for it to deposit the color than it does for the ends.
@@wb624 well, we definitely know that if we are putting bleach, the scalp will process faster than the ends, because of the heat! So... when it comes to bleach we are already sure about that 😂! Now, when it comes to permanent color we know that the hair needs to be lifted in order the color to be deposited, but if the ends are dry as you said, i feel like the ends will process faster than the roots (because the hair follicle is already opened from the previous color), so you are probably right! But I think it also depends if your hair has been previously bleached or if it is your natural color! However, when it comes to semi permanent, won't the color only deposits like at the surface of the hair follicle ?! So yeah, in that case the roots would also process faster than the ends, but again, doesnt it depend on your previous hair condition?! 😅😂 this is so confusing ahahah
My issue with green is I've never seen the color I'd want exist. All the darker greens out there are severely blue-toned. I just want a dark forest-y true green hue, bright enough that you can see that its green but dark enough that its just a few shades away from looking black.
I want that too! I'm thinking about getting a blue- toned black and mixing some brighter green so it would have... green shine? But look black on most light
I used manic panic raven like 7 years ago and it faded after 1-2 washes to a nice forest green (not great when you want black tho) and it basically never came out of my hair

At this point i'll probably be able to find a wig 100% matching the color I want before I ever be ready to take the plunge into permanently dying my hair that dark. Its the same reason I'd buy a black wig rather than dying it because I know it'd be a bitch to get back out if I want to go lighter again.
We need a how to dye your hair at home and hair dye basics from brad!! If your a frequent watcher you pick up alot of knowledge from watching your videos but I wish there was a cohesive playlist or video on basics for us who cant always afford to dye in the salon or those who just like to do it yourself :)

i was looking for shaming comments, maybe they are further away in the comment section... for me its just not feminine, the whole picture of her (kind voice, very nice face, long pink hair and then comes the black hair on her arms...). i would have been so self-conscious if i were her (i got rid of mine and its not that dark), but cheers to her if it does not bother her and she feels good like this! :)

My daughter has autism, most parents don’t colour their kids hair, she is so stressed out all the time, having colourful hair makes her so happy and she needs to tell everyone. When we buy colour, she takes it out of the bag to show any poor passerby, every colour we got.

I never dyed my hair crazy colors anymore because it would always fade into a very ugly color! Just started on trying XMondo hair dye in the color red and I am sure I won't have the ugly fading color to worry about, so pumped!! So far it looks amazing and made my hair feel so so healthy, not to mention it smelt great
