    Amazing video. To those with questions about camping it is totally illegal, heavy fines. But if you can get away with it your good fortune. Sad really. Just my musings as i am no expert but I think they should allow it during busy times of the year. Maybe set up few small camping areas along route managed only during busiest times. Rifugios would still be full. In fact even charge for overflow permits and provide portion as bonus to rifugios. So many options. I do feel they have taken the easy way out rules wise but if no option people do it illegally. The rifugios are amazing and absolutely nothing should be okayed if it impacts environment or the rifugios. And maybe they have found this easiest option is the only way it works. Cant help thinking there is some happy medium thats a better option.

    Hi! I am going to hike the AV 1 this summer. This video makes me really excited, I love your shots. Thanks for sharing!
    I was wondering about three things:
    1) do you know the names of all of the lakes, where you went swimming?
    at 6:44, at 8:58, at 15:30 (lago coldai?)
    2) do you know approximately the distances you hiked on every stage?
    3) did you bring your own food for the whole trek, or did you eat in the rifugio's?

    • @ShanSubedi
      @ShanSubedi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Jikke, thankyou 😊
      4:41 Lé Vert, 6:44 lagos di lima, 8:58 Lago di Lagazuoi and 15:30 is indeed lago coldai. I did about 9-10 km per day and ate mostly at refugios if I came across one otherwise I ate something I brought myself. Best of luck :)

    Supermooie video! Ik zag in de comments dat je Nederlands spreekt. Ik ben van plan deze route te doen ook met kamperen in september en had wat vragen.
    Ik had op internet gelezen dat het mogelijk is om mee te ontbijten/lunchen en broodjes voor onderweg te kopen bij de hutten, maar zag in je comments dat je zei dat dit niet kon. Denk je dat dit door corona anders is? Want dit zou het wel lastig maken om genoeg eten te hebben om te kamperen. Waar haalde jij je ontbijt en lunch vandaan?

    • @ShanSubedi
      @ShanSubedi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ontbijt ben ik niet helemaal zeker wss verchilt van hut tot hut, maar je kan zwz lunchen bij alle hutten en voor dinner moet normaal gereserveerd zijn. Ben nergens iets tegen gekomen waar je broodjes kan kopen voor onderweg. zeker geen winkels of andere zaken behalve hutten. Ik had paar droogmaaltijd van decathlon mee, paar ramen, nootjes en chocolades. Ik had wel paar keer lunch of dinner geskipt en laaste avond was ik random naar een hut geweest voor avondmaal en het was geen probleem. Je gaat er wel meestal iets vinden.

      Ive been hearing that there are different rules depending on the different parts of the trail you are hiking but Im not really sure where its legal and where not. Mostly I just got away with setting tent hidden from the trail and leaving no traces behind.

    i was surprised that in Dolomites camping is not allowed.. do you have any tips with sleeping in the tent/avoid any trouble with that and water stocks?

    • @ShanSubedi
      @ShanSubedi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Try to set tent hidden from the trail, do not leave any traces behind. If you use terrain map with those elevation lines, you can normally set your tent where lines are far from each other (flatland, thats how I usually look for spots anyway). For water I had one 2l hydration pack and a bottle, I tried to fill it wherever I could. There are taps too but not so much, and I did also fill from some questionable places being a bit careless ;p
