Dude thanks this video hits hard, i killed my first few bersekers and centaurs with white gear (while my hands were shaking) 30 hours in and I was thinking "how tf do i make money now"
I'm so glad you showed your death there. You don't let your ego get in the way of teaching moments. Thank you. Even experienced players make miscalculations, this is important to be shown. You have a great demeanor and I love your content, please continue making more for new players :)
Regarding the opening of your video, the shared stash has been an absolute game changer for quests. I never have to fuss over Silver Lore or A Goblin's Pride ever again, because I just pick up silver and goblin ears as I go, dump them in the shared stash, and then finish the mission as soon as it pops up on my other characters.
I don't think you understand. Ranger is almost always in the top 3 classes. Range is just such an advantage in almost every fight. If you don't suck with a bow, there is a reason for it being considered always broken.
righttttt lol some of the lowkey creators have this like poor mic quality super bass voice that makes it so hard to listen/watch the content they want to create
Yo you mention picking up dark fabric for the quest definitely a good tip, but even when you finish that quest I'd recommend to still pick it up since it's used to craft the Cloak of Darkness which sells for quite a bit depending on the stats. Solid tips for beginners nice video keep it up.
Specifically quests for the Woodsman that give +25 affinity will unlock more options with the Squire. Weaponsmith and Armorsmith affinity quests will also unlock their respective item types, and doing more affinity quests will allow you to get Common (white) quality of those same items.
lol I would highly recommend any other character for Inferno. The reason for that is a ton of the mobs have 36% magical damage resistance, so they become beyond tough for Wizard to kill.
@@user-vs3vp4em8z you have like 16 ignites and 8 magic missiles that is perfectly enough to clear a huge area before campfiring and staff's rage is great of course it's melee and not gonna kill mobs from 50 meters away

Hey Solomon, me again, love the content and all your videos. Wanted to give a few more suggestions on topics that now that I’m 150 hours in, would want to learn about, similar to your progression guide. 1) should you push 125+ lobbies? 2) is it worth doing a zero to hero & when/if you should transition to HR 3) What should you spend your gold on? Budget kits? Farming the 124 bracket? HR?
I could definitely do an advanced guide at some point. Basically though what you're looking for is a PVP guide. 1. When you push 125+ gearscore, you get PVP that gives good loot. 2. When you zero to hero (in HR) you have to know how to win or escape PVP while severely undergeared (and yes, it's worth it to use squire gear to farm gold). 3. This one is personal preference. I personally like to save until I have an extremely OP kit, then use that. Otherwise I play basically ungeared, or just buy blue weapons.
I understand PvP but it’s very discouraging esp 125+. The first time I rocked a 10K gold bis kit I just got tanked by the million rogues everywhere. I switched to bard and while the entire map knows where I am I’m running around the place spamming shriek of weakness (which at least gives me a fighting chance). It’s beyond frustrating as you kill one rogue and then get ambushed by another it’s like they call camp spots/spawns. I very much enjoy HR and solos but feel like 8/10 games I’m dying to a camping rogue with the other 2/10 being good fights or escapes or actual gameplay. I’m enjoying the pve and have learned every boss except warlord so far (only killed cyclops solo rest in groups).
2. I meant to clarify like you could make a video of “why you should exclusively be doing hr” since there’s seasonal rewards etc. I’m only seeing norms -125 is for learning bosses and 125+ norms is if you enjoy pvp.
step 1: play fighter, step 2, learn to block with heater and space, step 3- take weapon mastery and use any bow. I like longbow, its most risk reward since you are very slow moving with it, but the damage is insane with any decent amount of physical power. Use arming sword/falchion/maces/longsword, are my favorites. with this setup you can kill any class in the game.
@@user-vs3vp4em8z it takes like 3-4 direct fireballs to kill a fighter with dark plate,. and you just block magic missile. if you get killed by a wizard you fucked up your positioning
@@user-vs3vp4em8z man...what's the best way to chase someone? Like im new to the game and if a rogue or a ranger is running away I cant catch them. Im in the newbie lobby (gear score 24 and less) But chasing is so hard. I use my E but then I equip my longsword and can only land a stab and then they run away. Do I NEED to fight without a chest piece? lol.
Hey man! This is the second video of yours I'm watching and I'm really enjoying it! I have a few questions: 1) What do you mean by "rolls/roles" for items? 2) When you say extra damage items are good...does that include items that give +strength and +willpower because I think those stats govern damage right? Thanks! New to the game.....just played for a few nights.
items with green rarity or higher have random stats that will randomly vary. each stat can have the stat in a range. A good roll is when the stat randomly got one of the highest value the item could get. for the second question it just depends of the item. For example, having a random willpower roll on a mage or occultist item is good, because they will want those stats, wheras on a dagger for example (which is in majority used by rogues) with a willpower roll will be bad and not worth a lot.
@@maissasa2363 Oh thanks a ton! I appreciate it! Im loving this game a lot and got my first couple of kills (after many many many PVP deaths) and its so satisfying 😁
Spear + backstep isnt a meme, jumping in range for a spear poke then jumping back leaving them swinging at air while you poke em in the face with spear is very effective
Sometimes meme builds are good builds. Backstep's whole strength comes from being an unexpected play though. A free hit can absolutely win a whole fight though.
bro forgot boots in his base gear, don’t forget them dex boots for ranger, the other boots (strength) are also pretty good for ranger due to his low strength stat edit: nvm he got the boots lol
the warlock didn't even have dark reflection gang... so it wasn't "even." he just played it better and you did technically lose to him and it wasn't even a draw even with that perk I just didn't like that part of the video weirded me out no draws unless you both extract

not as good, cause you can't sell things. But it has way more gold chests and better loot. You will get better things to sell to the collector. It's also the best loot for you to get better gear.
I ain't gonna lie to you, counter attack shield fighter with a bow just does all this better, block bats for free counter attacks, bow with more - equal damage because higher strength and strength options, (naked a fighter has 1% more damage than a ranger does it's pretty funny) Then maybe the best part, you're just tankier, which means more mistakes can be made in pve than on ranger. Now if you like ranger, all power to you, but unless you're God tier with the triple shot bow, I'd say fighter is just the better class all round. You basically get all the same gear, better stats, and better options. Also second wind is kinda just field ration but refreshes of campfire If you practice enough, shield fighter almost never gets hit in pve, and it's very consistent. But even if you just wanted to use the longsword you still have the poke and you still have the bow, and even access to the spear lol
