Ive used an ultrasonic cleaner for years in the tattoo industry. I used it to strip paint off a super E carb and manifold.....came out like new....i used a negative cleaner called pyroneg purchased in new zealand
As a clockmaker in the UK the ultrasonic is the go to, L&R ultrasonic watch cleaning solutions are probably not for most budgets. Learning how to maintain a bicycle with little more than a box spanner is the best way into 2 wheels,a lawnmower is great for learning engines. The internet seems to have lost the skill to reference a vehicle specific workshop manual,
I have same Vevor unit and I use tap water and simple green. How it cleans out carburetor parts is amazing. You can easily remove all the ethanol residue from a S/S carb that's been in storage . All that brown syrup residue just disappears. Strongly recommend Ultrasonic cleaning.

Kevin along with my donation is a challenge; for all who donate to you and your area school, I ask that they also donate to their own local program and schools. I do understand the lack of finances and services in your area but many folks in our " modern" America deal with similar issues. Let's do good works here people, let's help Kevin and our own area school. My children are grown and gone but I still owe the teachers that educated them, give generously. With Love and Respect You are in my prayers Hoka Hey Made a donation but it kept trying to verify me even after I got a confirmation email. Thank You Sir for all you do!
I have the same ultrasonic cleaner at home. I started off with a smaller one to clean gun parts, then bought the larger one for larger parts. I use Purple Power Clean in mine; it seems to get the job done.
Good information. I used ultrasonic cleaner from 1961 to 1991 with a terrible solvent to clean hydraulic filters for aircraft. It was banned and still is. Just the fumes would make a person drunker than kooter brown... I think it was called tricoretheleane. I'm 81 now and memory not so good. Be safe don't breath the fumes👍🤠
I have just bought a bottle of the web and it certainly carries some risks. Very low flash point so keep away from sources of ignition. Only use outside because of the fumes but most importantly do not even consider using in an ultrasonic cleaner unless it has no heating unit. Far too easy to forget to turn off or set it too hot. Similar thing to take extra care with caustic soda and hot water. It won't catch fire but will erupt if mixed wrong or with warm or hot water.
I'd contact some local churches and see if you couldn't get them involved in a graduation kind of thing, where after the child completes the program they give them a bike to keep. Even in a pour community there are tons of bikes that could be overhauled and used but he'll at Walmart you can find a good bike for 150$. The church I used to go to gives away a truck load of bikes every Easter. They just go door to door in pour communities and drop off as many bikes as there is kids in the house.
re your bit about subscribing and being unsubscribed, your safe, im still subscribed to your channel lol but ive been unsubscribed on others which i rejoin as soon as i notice, keep your vids coming im enjoying watching them, from a fan down under
I'm not sure affordable is the right word to describe these. I have one and I've also had the commercial grade made in the USA kind and there is a marked difference in quality. The USA made commercial grades are more expensive but they do work exceptionally levels better than the vevor. The chinesium ultra sonic cleaners are cheaply built and don't have a very solid construction to them. They are also considerably noisier. So you get what you pay for. The internal heaters on these chinesiums will overheat the control board and burn it out. For that reason I use an external heater on mine. The basket has legs that touch the bottom of the tank; When you have heavy parts in the basket I've noticed it dampens the transducers. So I've resorted to suspending the basket now so it doesn't make contact with the bottom of the tank. Also, using the jars so you don't get the rest of the tank dirty is a great idea and I've been doing that too but not with plastic. Plastic dampens the ultra sonic frequencies and reduces the effectiveness overall. I use glass jars instead, specifically the canning jars. You can get all kinds of sizes including wide mouth jars. They work really well and don't reduce the ultra sonic frequencies at all. And Deionized water is only deionized until its dirty. Then its just dirty water.
Hello friend! It would be nice to make a single long video about all best available reliability, engine mods. Compensator. Oil fan cooler. Gears instead of cam chain. Cam plate Tank lift...etc
