I've got some map light LED's in my vehicle that I'd like to have replaced on a circuit board in my rear view mirror. I've already attempted to do this, but don't have the proper tools to do it and ruined the circuit board. I ordered a new board, but Id like to take it somewhere to have it done properly but not sure what kind of company I should look at to do the work. Any idea on what type of service/company I should be looking up to have them do this for me?
Thanks for the video, question, after installing leds I checked lights with multimeter, they light up but they do not have the same voltage they only read 1. as oppose to 1.8 or 1.9. are they installed wrong?
Im a new to soder. What exactly is the flux paste for? Im researching because i need to replace led yellow to led white on my car. My car has no bulbs its led chip. Please explain the flux paste please
Flux is basically what you put on the contacts or whatever your soldering to clean the surface for the solder to be able to stick even though It looks clean there can be oils and things like that on it that the flux will clean off as you solder just put some on whatever your soldering and start soldering with it still on there it'll melt away and clean the surface of the metal chemically another thing to add is if you can't get solder to stick try filing it a little or roughing up the surface it'll help a ton
I clicked on the video because I have some 5050s to solder, but was left mesmerised by the lighting quality in this video. Those close-up shots are so aesthetic. What's your lighting setup?
За это время я бы уже 10 штук феном отпаял и запаял. Мало того ещё припоя куча, зачем?! И пластик первого светодиода жалом паяльника потыкал. И криво припаяно. В общем всё очень долго и плохо.
Great tutorial, was able to add some SMD3528 led on my dash after seeing your technique.
You are more patient than I. Very well done!
Yeah those parts are crazy small. Must be calm when you solder that stuff.
im guessing you were using maybe a .50 soldier. in the future use a .25 soldier. and even a smaller tip. makes the job much easier.

Try those small places that repair computers, and cell phones.
Hi, is it possible to have 3528 LEDs with 2835 LEDs on a car instrument panel?
Great video. Thanks a lot!

well they wouldn't light up, if they installed wrong.
@@mygiguser Hey thank you. just was not sure. new at this.

How would you remove those LEDs using an iron?
You have to heat up both contacts at the same time. Or use suction or a wick to remove the solder.
@@mygiguser would that work on small LEDs like 0605?
How to desolder smd components?
hot air gun

just regular LED lights

i'm glad you liked it.
tiny? oh no that's HUGE, try a 0402 capacitor or resistor, THAT'S TINY 😂😂😂😂
