Even if you didn't see or didn't know about the 8 blocks, and all you saw was Donovan lying flat on the floor fighting for the ball, it would tell you all you need to know about him.
Simons' minutes are a detriment to the team. Shaedon, Scoot, Toumani, Dalano and Deni need to play decent game time. Shae being the franchise along with Don.
I don't want to pin blame, but i feel like since ayton and simons, our two main volume shooters have been out, in terms of playing team basketball they've turned it up a notch. Looking forward to seeing where they go from here, because I see no reason to insert simons back into the starting lineup considering how he's played
Havent got to watch many games this season but the ones I did see, we were killed in the 3rd quarter. Both of these games against the Twolves we weathered the 3rd quarter storm and overcame their adjustments which was huge. Got to keep focusing on that because thats when great teams destroy you.
Banton might be the Point Guard of the future. He just turned 25 on 11/7 and is fast, tall, and can be deadly driving into the lane. His length helps on defense even if he is generally only an average one-on-one defender.
Brilliant move to pull Scoot. Good move, Chauncy. Scoot had no respect for our possessions. It was like he was trying to see how fast he could give the ball away. WTF was that? Wise move to not let him back in the game last night anyway. The dude's gotta learn to respect the possession.
Pretty clear its time to move from Ant...Banton and Scoot are playing well and the future is now. Its also clear as day that Sharpe/Clingan are special and have the ability to change a game....lots to smile about these past 72 hours
mike when you say you want to see clingan, shae and a bunch of big wings do you mean toumani deni and flagg as the other three starters with scoot coming off the bench or start scoot at the 1 and have toumani/deni off the bench
Couple things. Minesotta commentators were pretty fun....they kept referring to Sharpe as "someone dropped this guy from the roof" athleticism. Banton made key simple passes to Grant who made timely 3s to keep them at bay. Grant has been playing very well lately {apart from the occasional wtf iso was that} but he seems to know when they need a bucket late 4th or when the tide is changing. Clingan and Scoot have a ton of hart and character....although I feel Scoot resets his motherboard sometimes and does some crazy things for no reason. Let's hope Cronin attaches a couple picks to move the glaring elephants so we can probably make the playoffs....wouldnt that be joyous?
Simons gotta go, between Ayton, Williams and Clingan you have a great combo of bigs and could even play 2 at a time sometmes to shake things up. Clingan is easy to like and root for because of his work eithic and personality. Imagaine Mutombo with the potential to develop a decent scoring and assist game. Sharpe looks ready to say this is my team. Of course its only 1 game in november and after next game this could be a whole new conversation
This team is truly the tallest and most talented Blazer team ever. Are they the best team ever...NO. But if they play together a couple of years, then they can get better. Banton should start at point with Sharpe and Scoot and Simons off the bench. They all need to hustle EVERY night and play tight defense!
One of the things I noticed that made a big difference on defense was jamming the screen at the top of the key. I hate drop coverage from the center and figured that CB was reluctant to jam the screen because DC was too slow to recover. He did just fine and it helped keep their Ant at bay. I hope they keep it up.
Oh man last two games have been great. I will probably get hate for this, but Anfernee and Simons are not contributing to winning basketball. I have been a hater on Chauncey, but gotta give him credit where it’s due. He had the young guns playing with passion. Obviously Clingan, Camara, Sharpe, are pieces for the long term. Still worried about Scoot, but I hope I’m wrong about that. Also really love Timelord obviously, just hope he stays healthy. He impacts the floor so much it’s crazy, and love his experienced veteran presence at such a young age.
@ trading grant will open up more forward minutes. i don’t think the blazers goal is to play smaller. if we were to trade ant, then you’re talking more potential minutes for scoot
I am wrong all the time but I do love Jesus Christ ❤ and said play all the young guys first… also ant ayton seem like great guys trade them to teams that fit there style not ours love my blazers ❤even if it’s a secularist fan base??!! 🎉🎉
Simon’s and Ayton out, the Blazers play with heart. Go figure. Those two play for money not the love of the game. Simon’s must go first though. Banton and Scoot are our best Gaurds. Trade Simon’s and Ayton for an experienced guard who will come off the bench along with some nice pics for next year draft. It’s time guys.
I'm tired of prioritizing the Three when Sharpe is a natural driver and will be an old-school And-One shooter who will put the opponent's interior in foul trouble. Shaq was right about the three point offenses ruining the game, boring compared to the "Old NBA" three-dimensional game.

still fighting for his life 3 seconds after the whistle. lol. loved it
Fellas we are way better then they give us credit for...and this game showed half the potential for what we going to be 💯
Simons' minutes are a detriment to the team. Shaedon, Scoot, Toumani, Dalano and Deni need to play decent game time. Shae being the franchise along with Don.
Very fun game. Finally being able to see the young guys just makes everything so close to not be frustrating😅
Finally indeed!
Awesome episode love the podcast, CLING KONG 8 BLOCKS!!!
Love me some Cling Kong, he does so much on the floor!
Is that a glimmer of hope I see?

When Simon’s and ayton are gone the team will rise as we watched. Those two play for money not the love of the game
@@jcp.2063 please no more Simon’s

totally agree

So fun to watch the hustle and defense! This all happens with out simons huh! 😂

Will we ever loose again😂😂😂😂

@@chadmerrill2636 I _did_ see Scoot on Wednesday - that is the game I am referring to. Coach pulled his ass just in time.

@@Matt-lu6so love your post except for the scoot part. No need to worry as this is really his first season as a pg.
Avdija needs more real minutes. 2 min here 4 min there you can't get into the game, not with around zero usage.
if Grant is traded, boom problem solved.
For now hell have to be like this he wont start over tou or grant or sharpe

He isn't cleared to do back to backs.
Just rest. It's a back to back, so they don't wanna over-exert him til they know he's GOOD good!
No more of these do they have a guy questions lol he just has to stay healthy and do it more consistently

this era of the Blazers should be called Rose Thugs-N-Harmony 🌹
Maybe kling Kong is better than Edey
Banton is 6’ 8
No better time than now to trade Ayton and Grant. I understand waiting on Ant, but the other's trade value ain't getting any higher.
