Nice video again John….if there was ever one thing that cost me an elk it was block pinch…wow…my fault as I was not looking for it…I do now all the time…lol…great video John….oh and I wanted to ask…any of your pellet cooking videos in the near future???…I just watched and used you tri tip video yesterday for my mom’s birthday party…got raves about the meat….enjoy all your videos John….
I'm doing a serving without tails. I take a wooden screwdriver, separate the string and thread the tail 2 times, then I do the serving. In the end, I do the same thing. As a result, the serving does not slide along the string, you can forget about it and enjoy life.
Need to work on nock fit for sure, thanks for the info here. Always good

This is the JD that adds value to common folk.

Awesome tip!
What size type string do you use for serving on the cable?
I just wish I could keep my loop from separating my serv. I feel I have tried everything.
Don't crank on it with pliers when you tie a new loop. Tightly wrapped serving helps
John has a video on doing the loop to help with that
