My favourites from ‘72 include those 2 I mentioned as well as Still Bill, You Don’t Mess Around With Jim, And The Hits Just Keep On Comin’ & Ziggy Stardust! My favourite album from 1972 however is Jackson Browne’s debut! P.S., DO NOT DO AN INTRO LIKE THAT AGAIN!😂
In no particular order, here are my favorites: Thick as a Brick (Tull) Machine Head (DP) Exile on Main Street (Stones) Can't Buy a Thrill (Steely Dan) Eagles (debut) Trilogy (ELP) Chicago V Close to the Edge (Yes) Foxtrot (Genesis)
I'd definitely put Pink Moon by Nick Drake on this list, as well as Rock of Ages by the Band and the self titled Paul Simon album. This list definitely sounds like you!
Obviously, the intro was meant for your female fans. And a few of your male ones too. Technically, Paul Simon's 1972 album isn't his debut since he released one back in 1964 or 1965, but nevermind. ;)

Hey Larry!! Wasn't It "Trilogy" By Elp In 72?? Good Job!! loved It!!!
Yes. I guess sometimes rateyourmusic.com makes an error. That's where I get most of my info. Thanks.
I couldn’t believe Harvest & Transformer were not in your top 10 albums of 1972 but I respect your opinion!
In no particular order, here are my favorites:
Thick as a Brick (Tull)
Machine Head (DP)
Exile on Main Street (Stones)
Can't Buy a Thrill (Steely Dan)
Eagles (debut)
Trilogy (ELP)
Chicago V
Close to the Edge (Yes)
Foxtrot (Genesis)
I'd definitely put Pink Moon by Nick Drake on this list, as well as Rock of Ages by the Band and the self titled Paul Simon album. This list definitely sounds like you!
🎶I get uuuuPPPPPP,
I get Dooooowwwwnnn,
My favourite in 1972 is Moody Blues-Seventh Sojourn😊
Way too much epic stuff coming out in 1972, to just do a top 10, but you certainly covered it nicely.
Aaaaaaaahhhhhh......Wam bam thank you maam🎵
Obviously, the intro was meant for your female fans. And a few of your male ones too. Technically, Paul Simon's 1972 album isn't his debut since he released one back in 1964 or 1965, but nevermind. ;)
The Wizard is a great song
