Sierra Leone has 2 come from behind races now…interesting. I wonder at his (or is it her lol) chance to win the Kentucky Derby…the way I see it, the current favorites, Fierceness and Forever Young, especially the former, have a chance if they get off to a good start, but will fold if they end up as far behind as Sierra Leone was here…haven’t really looked at the other racehorses yet lol. I don’t watch horse racing as much as some people, and I’m no horseman, as I’ve never really been around them much.
Catching freedom took the brunt of the traffic and traveled much further than any horse by going outside to inside back to steadying in final stretch of wet track. Sierra Leone just used the Daytona drift mood off Catching Freedom doing the dirty work. Catching Freedom is my Kentucky pick so far.
Nash is within 2-3 length is a great horse in Travk phantom. Today Tuscan sky beat Nash by 2 when Nash had pace advantage and only Tuscans second start. I think he may be as good as Sierra Leone and Track Ohantom. Todd pletcher has fierceness and Locked but watch out for Tuscan sky and maybe Speak Easy too
I think a many of these gunrunner colts n fillies are going to be Big Stuff ,for being pretty much the up n coming in my opinion. Fast,Heart, Lungs n more. They are keeoin them back but there so strong. Sierre Leone and another lil piece of dirt left, I blieve he'd of blew by.
Nah man, Baffert has 5-6 3 YOs that will clean up this year after the derby. Sierra Leone/Track Phantom/Dornoch/Locked/Fierceness all should have good years as well
Track phantom ran well 👌 but impressed by Sierra Leone came off the pace of easy fractions . KD front runner now
Didn't win on my win bet, but did on the trifecta. I accidentally made my trifecta bet twice, so my $2 bucks turned into $144!
I really like Catching Freedom. He doesn't seem to like a wet track, but he still holds his own.
