O.G. here. Nice video. You’re doing it right youngster. I started the same way; on a crappy smoker that had hot an cold spots, leaked heat and constantly needed attention. Once you learn to control fire on a cheap unit, then upgrade to a quality one, things get much easier. People who first start on expensive pellet smokers never learn those basic fire management skills. Plus, when the apocalypse hits, no electricity, no meat!😆😂🤣
I was taught to boil ribs prior to grilling or putting into the oven. It really makes them tender and gets alot of the fat out. Tasty. So nice to see you expanding your grilling expertise.
