Lol this here is 'man music'. In most guys who I've seen react to this and their other songs - like _Yuve Yuve Yu_ - stirs up primal feelings deep inside. The ladies sway to it too, so it's fire for whoever hears it. J/s.
The lyrics are like a war cry. Even not knowing Mongolian, you can feel the strength in the words. "If lions come, we'll fight until the end If tigers come, we'll fight and battle If elephants come, we'll fight in rage If humans come, we'll fight and obliterate We, If lions come, we'll fight until the end If tigers come, we'll fight and battle If elephants come, we'll fight in rage If humans come, we'll fight and obliterate If you come as snakes, we'll become Garuda birds and fly over you If you come as tigers, we'll face you as Lions with blue mane HU HU HU HU HU HU HU HU If you come with evil intentions, we'll give you a fight! Ten of us will strike you as thunder Hundred of us will shatter your hearts Thousand of us will destroy and obliterate Ten thousand of us will hand you the wrath of heaven! If you come as flood, we'll fight until the death If you come swarming, we'll scatter you around If you come flying, we'll shoot you down with our archeries If you come charging, we'll slice you with our swords HU HU HU HU HU HU HU HU Let's cut through them as speed of flying falcons Let's burn within as the hearts of wolves! Let's stampede with our horses Let's defeat them with the wisdom of our Great Khaan, Chinggis! HU HU HU HU HU HU HU HU" They did a re-record with the singer from Papa Roach that has English in it. Definitely worth a watch! It's a great amplification of this original.
Maaan, I wasn't done!! Oh well. I forgot what I was going to write anyway. But I love the HU!! they are one of the best bands around right now. Everything else pretty much sucks. I have loved them since the first time I heard them that was hooked on the HU. Have you heard the Star wars song they did?
I just love that with humans and other animals they simply just going to fight back. But with elephants, boi they going to fight back with RAGE. Like elephants pissed them so much

It’s crazy to say but they sound better live. All four frontmen throatsing in different tones at times. The mouth harp comes into play in a lot of their other songs. They are also class human beings the more you learn of them; a real gem from Mongolia they are sharing to the world.
My husband and I came across this after watching a Turkish show on Netflix that involved Mongolian throat singing...I was totally intrigued by the sound....now this is one of my main songs when I go to the gym....it makes me want to conquer all.
Love The HU!!! 🖤🤘 You guys should listen to their other songs "Song of Women", "Shireg Shireg", "Yuve Tuve Yu" and many more. They also did a cover to Metallica's song "Sad But True"!
The subtitles are necessary, this is a badass war-tune! Basically says No matter who,No matter where, No matter how, fuckin around, is gonna bring nightmares destruction and glory! Great reaction choice💪💪💪
I played this while shoveling my driveway in Canada and afterwards I kicked a raccoon in the face and then kicked my neighbors door in and asked for a cup of sugar.
Okay. I had no idea what the hell we were about to watch, but that was really enjoyable. There's something about the native people of a land singing, it just speaks to your soul. Kudos the fellow who suggested that. I'm quite curious as to what they're saying. Keep up the good work guys! We definitely enjoy your videos.
Ok I am a HUGE HU fan. Some of us jokingly refer to ourselves as HUligans. Lol. A lot of there music is based in Mongolian legends and poetry. Their goal is to celebrate their culture and bring it to the global arena. This song IS a war or battle cry. I love this version as well as the one they did with Jacoby Shadox from Papa Roach. Not only are our boys talented but very educated and an all around great bunch of guys. You wanna see them in their natural environment you need to see HU's in the kitchen. Fun and hilarious.
Which totally sucked. Shady deluxe totally tried stealing g ghe show. It was a total joke having hI'm jumping all over the stage like a fool. Ruined everything for the Hu and their song.

I do not know his heritage... My guess would be Germanic... But based on initial reaction, the older gentleman in the middle here is a 'Natural Born Warrior'... Don't jack with him to the point he ignites... While the two younger guys were just sitting there at the beginning, the older guy was moving his head to the percussion... I am of German/Scottish decent... Back when I first heard the HU I spent a few days doing a 'Warrior Stomp' around my apartment listening to them...Prolly pissed off my downstairs neighbor...lol... Take a look here on youtube for 'traditional Viking Music'... You will be amazed at the similarity...Including the 'Throat Singing' between Mongolian and Nordic music... Two 'Warrior' cultures, separated by a thousand miles... But their music is almost identical...
Whats absolutely amazing about this style of music the singer is capable of singing 2 different notes AT THE SAME TIME. There is a guy in Australia who is a master virtuous in this style of throat singing. If you were to watch 1 of his performances it will blow your mind. Also you should check out the version with Jacobi from papa roach singing the parts after them in english it's pretty cool. I love these guys so unique.
HU in mongolian means ' human ' as I understand it. And yes! You think you're ready for war. So are they. This song is about protecting their country. "You come at us we will be lions. We will be tigers. We will be eagles. In other words...don't mess with us. The HU are great!
Cool, I've watched a bunch of reaction videos from all different people from different countries but every single one of them is blown away by this song.
Side note: Many mongols still live nomadic, moving around with herds of animals. That's why the horse holds a very high status in mongolian culture. And you can see it here with a lot of horse-imagery, including the horse-head carvings on their instruments.
This song is such a powerful war mantra that it has not once failed to bring out a bit of the tribal warrior inside men watching and awe from women... Talk about a force of nature

"The Hu" refers to the Hunnu, an ancient Turkic/Mongol empire (Known as the "Huns" in the west).
If this doesn't kick off testosterone levels, I don't know what would. Brilliant. Cheers from Canada
Mongolian war chant. Oh hell yeah.
this song is basically 3 minutes of “u better not fucking mess with us”
