Thank you Carolina 😊🙏🏼 The good news is - whatever message that resonates with you will work its own magic. You don’t even have to consciously remember anything!
You’re terrific and I sincerely hope all is well in your area. The key is to have a good reference photo with shadows-just like you have in this video. Thanks
Ohh, I actually saw the various hints of values & shadows as you were describing & painting them. My skills are improving so much now with your helpful tips & examples of painting subjects. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge & videos with us!
Most excellent! That's something I would give a go in watercolor. I do such things in charcoal... and graphite... and every grey set of marker and colored pencil I can get my hands on 😅. It's the 3 tones. Imho, I think us watercolor artistas & urban sketchers are missing the mid tones a lot and those are what bring the sketches "off the page" into the realm of realism so to speak. Also why I'll never toss my black paint but then I love the grey, so bias being what it is. 😊 Again, excellent. Thank you.
Hmmm, not sure of there are artists I would define as important (: There are plenty of artists painting very realistically. I think it’s about finding art that speaks to YOU personally. That may lead to some inspiration (:
It is VERY thick paint (: If you end up with lots of back runs, it's usually a matter of timing / thickness. What I do is match the wetness on paper + extra thickness. So if the paint on paper is, say "Tea", I use "Coffee". If you do wet in wet when it's getting closer to dry and farther from wet - you'll usually have to use quite a thick paint in your brush. Takes a bit to figure out the nuances, but with experimentation you'll get there 🙏😊 Thank you & no worries about the typo!
Thank you (: The best processes are often quite messy. Not because that's how they *should* be or anything like that. But rather because true discovery isn't linear. I didn't follow a pre-conceived plan, I searched for the solutions in real time. Which tends to lead to the most interesting results.
Its amazing how well trained his eyes are
Thank you 🙏😊 It really is all about noticing as much as possible (:
“Feeding it with dark paint” great way to describe it! ❤
😁 Yes, and I like letting it do its thing if possible!
So so cool. I love your idea of painting with freedom and without fear. I will try to remember that! 😊

Liron, in realism what are the most important artists with watercolor?
Hmmm, not sure of there are artists I would define as important (:

@@LironYan thank you. I really like bryan haberling and misulbu, do you know them?
❤🎉😂
Laron, when you get to drop the dark paint in the cup, just how thick it that paint. I tried this subject and ended up with back runs. Oops
I’m sorry I typed your name incorrectly.

how the hack could this get 3 downvotes ...
Haha it's fine, pretty much anything gets some downvotes.
But thank you so much 🙏😊
Looks messy (the procedure). Pleasant result, though.
Thank you (:
