The customization felt very lackluster in the game considering the options we have in Real Life and they had back in the day .Could have made it better .
I never played video games much...but my wife got me RDR2 as a gift, as she knows how much I love my "cowboy" guns and clothing. The game is enjoyable, however I keep neglecting the story and free roam it. Your critique of the game's weapons it spot on. Awesome job! (Never understood the obsession folks had with the Volcanic Revolver, as it was obsolete by 1899.)
I'd love to have a volcanic for the oddity of it, but the ammo would be the most interesting part. "Caseless" ammo in the mid 1800s is pretty impressive. Unfortunately it wasn't much more than a bb gun
Hey there, I’m a new subscriber. I’ve been playing red dead since the original into the second. I am also not a fan of the standard finish on the guns since most of them look nickel plated or iron plated. In red dead 2 you have the option of changing the finish and you can blue the guns to their real life factory counterparts. I’m currently running two Schofield’s with wood grips that closely resemble the originals with a blued receiver and barrel, iron colored sights. The Schofield has been my favorite western pistol while growing up watching western movies with my dad.
It's hard not to like the schofield. Nothing quite like them anymore and at the time the schofield seemed to be the best thing going. It's a shame they weren't more successful. Wonder what guns would be like today if it would have been.
Enjoyed the game and this video. Keep it up bro.👍

I thought it was hilarious that you could rifle the shotgun barrels to make them more accurate with buckshot

@ yeah I still think that the top break auto eject feature is way more convenient than slide out cylinders like we have today
