Dragon's Dogma: Farming Glitch with a Side of Cheese

- I have fun with the barrel glitch for farming BBI Level 3 Armor and Weapons. It's best to just stick to a yellow class for the rolling rather than having to rely on two barrels for the jumping clip. Depending on when you decide to do this, switching to Easy Mode will make the Daimon fight that much quicker. As a side note, if you're short enough, even a ledge-hang drop from the second-floor balconies can inflict fall damage; my character is the tallest height for a male, so he's fine.
You also don't need to tell me that you already know all of this. I'm sharing it 'cause I want to, I'm not sure why that's so confusing. I clearly mention that I've already seen the barrel glitch from others. Have you seen how many videos there are that demonstrate Death being farmed in the Garden of Ignominy as a max-level Ranger on the first-floor with a goldforged Revenant Wail and Blast Arrows? They don't care that other videos already exist and neither do I. Besides, lots of y'all be makin' shit up on what you "already knew" anyway lol. You're just mad that you couldn't think of it on your own.

For Assassin, I use gale harness just before rolling through the gate (guaranteed to pass the gate first try) and also faster running
Thanks for making this make sense for me. I've seen this before and I didn't understand why you would want to do it if the last chests are all 1st run chests. But now it all makes sense. They reset to post Damian chests. BbI wpn 3's. Thanks for breaking that down. 👍

Only showed the part where he keeps on going back and forth daimon's room and collecting the loots.
It seems like a long trek! But better than farming daimon over and over again.

Btw if i plan to purify all my farmed bbi loots can i go to olra by running back and will it trigger the cut scenes making me unable to do it anymore until i reset?
@@iLeex_ The last time I did it, I remember that only going through Daimon's "exit" doors after his four chests is what would trigger BBI going into its second phase, so if you did want to purify while keeping the glitch active, then yes, running back the long way to Olra should preserve the glitch.
What I ended up doing was hiring Offline pawns at the Riftstone just outside of Daimon's entrance when my main pawn's personal inventory became full, transferred the items over to them, and then chucked them into the abyss lol. Hired pawns' personal inventory gets sent to your main inventory when they return to the Rift, and so I made sure to only hire Offline pawns to avoid bodybagging real players' pawns.
This was incredibly helpful, when i get this far ima farm up a ton before spawing daemon lv2

Kinda late saying this but you don't need to run back to the harbour for this. At least I didn't need to. Just exit daimon's room and enter again to have the chests reset.

I had to got to harbor at least once but then you can exit and re enter the room and it will reset immediately
Barrels are for dragons dogma what buckets are I'm skyrim. World breaking implements.
It'd be funny if the devs were aware of this and put the pawns addiction to barrel breaking to try and fix XD

Also if you're running low on stamina you can spam rolls for free it's not as fast as running but it's faster than waiting for it to recover, tho you may have some weird ai from your pawns if you roll nonstop I've noticed pawns struggle to follow when I do that.

The RNG for those rings can really suuuuck. On one save file, I got all the rings I wanted sub-50 purifications; on another, it took over 100 just to get one of the rings I wanted... my eye still twitches whenever I godsbane lol.

How does this work if you want to keep BBI in this state, or can you only no longer be considered in Daimon's boss room by exiting out through the top door, meaning if you want to do this again you have to start over in hard mode again...? I am just wondering if running back to the harbour instead will make the game think that I can't use liftstones or ferrystones until I exit through that door...
Question. The pawn inventory doesn't empty when you abyss them. Can you load up a hired pawn and get the BBlv3 sent to storage?
Yep, I advise using Offline hired pawns since tossing Online hired pawns is bad manners lol

Not that I know of, no. A difficulty-reset is quick enough though. Much better to run through Pre-Daimon BBI once than constantly rush through Post to get the chests the old fashion way lol.
Did this. Unfortunately those chests dont spawn GEAR LVL 3... only armor weapon novelty
You can get lv3 gear (and novelty) early pre Damion from master thiefing the prisoner gore cyclops in midnight helix
Does this glitch work after you've killed daimons second form? Cause when I did this after killing daimons second form he actually Respawned so how do I do this after fighting daimons second form
I've yet to see the glitch work in Post-Daimon BBI, so for now you'll need to reset the world state via a Difficulty Reset by changing the difficulty setting. If you're on Easy/Normal, then switch to Hard Mode via the main menu to reset the world state without losing your items, and if you're already on Hard Mode, then switch to Normal Mode via Options > Gameplay > Difficulty Settings, and then return to the main menu to restart in Hard Mode.
How do I add friends pawns??? I’ve tried using my friends, but it says we’re not friends.
Both are set to anyone, both unfriended each other, and re-added through in game, and still nothing.
Neither have over 100 or anyone who plays besides each other.
Playing on Xbox series s
The first things to check:
1. That you are in Online-mode in the game settings; if you are in Offline-mode, then you will only see offline, game-generated pawns and not yours friends' pawns inside The Rift (inside a Riftstone).
2. That you have a stable internet connection and do not see any type of error message when resting in-game while in Online-mode. If your internet connection and the game servers are both stable, then you should see a message indicating that a server connection is being made while it uploads your pawn's data to the servers.
3. Usually friend requests are quick to update in the game once accepted, but sometimes requires the game to be restarted/quit-out to the main menu. Another thing that consoles allow that PCs don't is looking up pawns via username/gamertag etc. inside The Rift so I would see if your friends are showing up if you manually search for their usernames.
4. If you still can't see anything, then there's just some odd bug that's preventing your friends' visibilities and not much else can be done other than to see if the servers refresh themselves and include your friends in the line-up.
@@MaestroVirgoreo they show up in manually searching, and we’re both online. Both have good connections towards 100mbps, but it still says we’re not friends.

Then it's a system issue, nothing can be done on the consumer side. Dogma servers have had hiccups before, especially with trading/gifting items, so it's unfortunate when we run into these walls.

So you need to exit through daimon's arena door to be able to use ferrystones again?
Yeah, as far as I could tell. I don't know if there's a trick to resetting the stones without resetting the room, too.

Can you farm gear? Because the only thing you can farm it’s armor , novelty or weapon but not gear ?
The chest that is alone has a chance (its quite uncommon) to drop gear, as well as novelty and prc

It should, yes. The Godsbane only acts as a "quick-load" to hasten the process.
Can you do this on hard mode ?
Sure, just as long as BBI is kept in its first stage.

Nah, it just always has a Moonbeam Gem so unless I need a few more, I leave it alone.

Sorry forasking here (several channels in vain it seems…) i have obtained and silver forged 2 pieces of the oblivion set but don’t know what I need to get or where to get it in order to do the final forging because I haven’t found the material and as such the game doesn’t say. I have tried looking this up on youtube and gamefaqs but failed to find it. If someone could tell me I would be most grateful.
I am missing one of the memory/epitaph entries so I am wondering if there is a mob there that I have not killed or if I’m just real unlucky. Going to watch a vid and try to figure out with minimal annoyance, which one I’m missing lol. Interesting video.:)
No worries, the Oblivion Set requires drops from Death and Daimon to goldforge its equipment, specifically the Bone Lantern from Death and Daimon's Horn. Once you obtain those items, they'll display in the upgrade menu. As for the memories, some are cleverly hidden. The most overlooked ones are in the Dark Bishop's boss room and the room right after it at the end of the pier. The wiki should have a list of where the memories are based on the number you're missing.
@@MaestroVirgoreo thank you so much for the response. I’m not a glass cannon MA so I am struggling to kill death. I don’t know all the spots he will show in order so as to hunt him down, but I can force him to spawn where he nowmally shows when first entering bbi if there are lizard men instead of goblins. If only the rebalancers + pariapts were enough for me to kill him without trying to hunt him down. I have gotten a bone lantern somehow before if I recall but it doesn’t show that requirement for the obsidion unless maube that was the first rarification . Fought death once a while back and had him below half before he bolted. I found the one on the pier by the second shortcut. I dunno if I found the dark lich one but I think so. I’ll figure that out after I get death farmed somehow lol.

You're welcome :) yeah Death can be a pain to kill even at max level depending on your attack power. I always just bully him with a shortbow or with Ranger's longbow since you can get sneak attack damage from the second-story balcony in that first room you mentioned.
