The Steph curry one is horrible. How can his legacy improve while on a superteam?? lol. His coach was force feeding him all Olympic at expense of USA. The 1:28:38 clutch award doesn't show avgs but totals. His bench carried him that year. It's funny how you're increasing his legacy on a superteam when joker was far better all tourney. Steph getting legacy acclaims on superteams is poetic bc that's his whole career. Why don't lbj and ad or book get legacy talk after their Olympics?? They were way more valuable and consistent especially Ad book
Whew what a friday i had. 8 hours of lab work at campus, get home, make some tortillas and watch some Dexter. Get a notification that Jonny Arnett uploaded. Honestly no better way off winding down a day. Thanks again Jonny. Tell your wife i said hi!
Regarding George Mikan's place among the all-time great centers... I have him as a permanent honorary member of the Magnificent Seven club of great centers, and I don't try to rank him against the others, because the game changed so much. For example, even though Mikan's prime was only about 10 years before Bill Russell's and Shaquille O'Neal's prime was about 35 years after Russell's, the game Russell was playing is much closer to the game Shaq was playing than the game Mikan was playing. Having said that, though... George Mikan was the best player in basketball for *_at least_* three years *_without question_* (and probably more like five). Few players *_ever_* become the unquestioned best player in basketball, and *_damn_* few remain the unquestioned best player for three years or more. Looked at through that lens, George Mikan is arguably one of the top five players of all-time. He's also one of the most influential. As Kareem noted, Mikan basically defined the role of the NBA big man. He also developed drills and tactics, and tactics were developed for use *_against_* him, that are still used in the NBA every day...
D Rose is an NBA icon, for fans that came before and after his peak. He carried city’s hope on his shoulder. As fans, we have always rooted for his success wherever he went after Chicago. He’s place as a HOFer shouldn’t be a debatable take. He is just that.
Thanks for putting Mutombo and Bryant back to back. I really enjoyed skipping them both in one go. After James Naismith inventing the game, Jerry West is the single greatest figure in the history of the sport.
If you win an MVP, especially the youngest in NBA history, you deserve a spot in the hall of fame. To take that even further if you were also an iconic player that kids mimic and rappers sing about, you have also done enough to be inducted without question.
Bill walton is the goat of college basketball. He is the only champion in blazers history. Huge part of the 86 Celtics. If he never had to deal bill Walton would have been so nasty
I am not a Kobe hater or anything but that injury history photo at 25:10 is absolute bullshit. Since when sprained ankle is a major injury. I am a farmer and I work with those minor injuries that they listed all the time(sprained ankle, bruised shin, swollen knee, sore foot etc). And if you are an athlete who earns millions of dollars just to play ball those shouldnt even count. Like wtf they even included "FLU".
My problem with your Kobe case is that he made his teams bad what I mean by that is he got into arguments constantly with his teammates, and he would scare other players who could’ve been better away from his team. So we can just go and say oh he did all this with no one. He could’ve done it with a lot more people. Also if we’re talking about a carry job look at lebron back in his first stint with Cleveland, that guy carried some randoms to the finals. Ps: I absolutely love your vids I just hate Kobe 😭 thanks for all the good times though!!!
There’s a difference between a Hall of famer and an Icon. I don’t know if comparing Rose with McGrady’s career made the case. Right off the bat you compared games played. Almost half of which Rose played as a role player, while McGrady played his as the main character. Evident by the 7 seasons he was selected to the all star and all NBA. Rookie of the year …beating out the likes of M.Beasley, OJ Mayo, K.Love, R.Westbrook. He deserved the MVP but would it had gone to him had “the decision not happened and Lebron/D.Wade canceled each other out of that race? Not a great era. D.Rose is an Icon and a Legend! One of the biggest “what if’s” in sports..but I don’t know if he’s a hall of famer.
Derrick Rose was a better player, had a higher peak and had more accolades than either T-Mac or Grant Hill, the only thing they have on Rose is a longer career.

A whole hour of this video is about Anthony Bennett 🤯......a true testiment to his skills 👍

He's at least top 10 if we're talking about his accolades
Thank you for your hard work bro 👊🏾

Patrick Ewing absolutely needs a statue for the Knicks, he played there for like 15 years and led them to various contending seasons
Awesome way to spend a Saturday night in ❤

The -07 Cavs weren't just some randoms. They were the better team compared to the -07 Lakers.
@@penkima4923 true, 06 Lakers vs 07 Cavaliers:
Smush Parker < Daniel Gibson
Lamar Odom > Larry Huhges
Luke Walton < Drew Gooden
Kwame Brown

Lebron is way to high on this list. Put him around 30 and its good, plus get stupid james harden off the list completly.
Peak Rose > Peak Lebron
