I can handle reading about all kinds of true crime cases, including murders that caused the perpetrators to be sentenced to death in my home state (including one case from my hometown where the man stabbed all four siblings in a family to death), and hearing about that happening to the 8-year-old made me wish I'd never heard about it in the first place. Why are so many Russians so fucking awful?

In that last one, don't blame the soldier- blame his wife. That's a heck of a lot to do to someone, and dumping it on them all at once is exceptionally cruel. The really sucky thing is that she was still his wife and beneficiary, so she benefited from his suicide. It's a shame, she deserves nothing at all.

Now I'm feeling sad that the dad trying to attack his drunkard wife who murdered his sweet kids was probably jailed for attacking her.
I think that sometimes the court will take into account the emotional distraught a person is going through. I’m not an expert so this may be wrong.
Vanessa They do. I’ll take it to the extreme here:
1. Manslaughter- an unintentional killing
2. Murder- intentional killing (degrees vary in severity)
3. Self-defense- well... self-defense
In all three, someone died as a direct result of another persons actions. The differences lie in the situations of each. There’s even different degrees of murder. Everything is usually taken into account, including state of mind. These things will usually influence not only the charges but the sentences/fines as well.
Hopefully he got a judge that, if not threw it out completely, at least made sure it was a lesser charge with no time needed.

My very first call. It was a really bad car accident. No survivors. It’s discovered one victim has been decapitated. I wound up searching the bushes on the side of the road for the head.
It’s a really creepy sensation carrying just a human head. This has stuck with me since.
One minute, you are driving, maybe singing badly along with the radio, maybe thinking about that vacation a few days away, and the next, dead instantly.

The fact that the US Army CID has to specify they were taking photos of Sturgis’ brain for professional, not personal reasons, is just another reminder of how ducked up the world is.
They may have been joking, but that doesn’t change the fact that some person would’ve taken pictures of that scene and put ‘em in a nice lil murder scrapbook at home.

Got a call of a murder just occurred. When we got there we found one sister, drowned in a bathtub and another bruised up with scratch marks on her throat.
The surviving sister said two men broke into the apartment. One drowned her sister while the second tried to strangle her.
We get finger nail scrapings from the deceased sister and run them for a DNA match.
We find no match, but the skin sample under ther victims fingernails is an 85% match to her own DNA.
Because, the murder was the surviving sister.
Turns our, both sisters are gang members and the deceased sister was shorting the gang on drug money. The second sister killed the first to prove she was still loyal.

I don't think most us understand that there are some serious Hills Have Eyes people living among us. I went with a crew to fix the sewage lines on a residential street, (I was a digger) well by the time the sewage crew took over they all looked very concerned they sent in a robot with a camera to observe the blockage and like ten minutes later the police showed up IN FORCE. I overheard one of the sewer guys talking to a cop telling him "IT HAS TO BE THAT HOUSE." Well, about twenty minutes later the police knock on the door to no answer and eventually they force their way in..... They all come running out a few moments later and a few threw up visibly shaken. The house had been used as some sort of abattoir because I later learned multiple people had been found dead, apparently the killer or killers even flushed chunks of the victim in an attempt to conceal the crimes. I quit that job on the spot
I got through the first one and all I thought was "oh no. We're going through a doozy here."
A friend of mine tried killing herself. She stabbed herself in the chest, TWICE! I just remember thinking how much guts it takes to do that. She tried very hard to aim at her heart but BARELY missed!

Having dealt with a number of deceased persons, I can assure you that the smell of decomp is specific, persistent, and permeates everything. More than once I have had to wash everything, soak myself in a bath before scrubbing in the shower, and while showering, flush out my nose, and can still smell that for days.
In my high school AP psychology class one of the investigators from the John Wayne Gacy case came and talk to us and showed us photos from the investigation. Honestly was kind of cool to see photos that weren’t published and to talk about serial killers with someone who actually investigated them.

I read an account from a forensic pathologist and he described how a man cut a hole in a one month old baby's stomach and proceeded to rape the baby. Absolutely horrific and disgusting.
Knew a teenager some 40+ years ago. Using drugs passed out along road. Car ran over his head. Somehow doctors at Hershey Medical Center were able to save him. But alot of us Friends said alot of prayers. Don't Do Drugs!!!!!!!!!

theres the crime scene video of the mcdonalds shooting on youtube; but be warned. Theres kids and even an infant in it. Chilling to watch. You hear about the stories, but... to see all the families that tried to protect each other laying dead together, it will haunt you. Theres a little girl that was killed and in the video you can see she just got her bag of food and was leaving, only to be gunned down by a sick guy. There was kids that were riding their bikes to get food. they are also in the video, laying there right next to their bikes. The old couple at the door. The employees. the baby who was cradled by two women who tried to protect it.

The homeless man there was a case eerily similar in a city near Las Vegas absolutely awful to think there are people that will do something that awful to another person 😢
I tried very hard to OD on acetaminophen and ibuprofen (plus sleep aids). Obviously I failed, but boy, there came a time when I was regretting my choice.

This was during the worst time of child abuse in Hollywood. (In recent years, anyway). I can definitely believe it partly because of the way Spielberg went through a period of grooming young kids and might have been abused himself as a young Hollywood protege back in his late teens. Look up the publication “Answer Me!” which used to be published in the early 1990’s and was sold in Tower Records. Fascinating stuff about Hollywood around the time ET and Poltergeist etc were made. “The Player” by Robert Altman was also made about that time period….

Just remember everyone- take your meds. And if you have issues- get on meds. Pretty much everyone should be. Humans are crazy, being human is crazy especially during these times. And if you’re getting better/feeling better- it means the meds are working. It’s not shameful to take them. And yes there’s side effects. It’s about finding the right doses and what works best for you (especially empty versus full stomach. Some of my meds work best on full stomach, some don’t). It’s hard, but I’m worth it. So are you

I work for the Detroit PD. I’ve seen some shit, but there’s one case I’ll never forget. We got there to find the father dead, and the mother hysterical about her daughter. I don’t think she was happy to see me. Turns out the family was planning on replacing their android, who lost its mind, killed the father, and was holding the little girl over the edge of the building. I managed to get the android to let the kid go, but the SWAT team got trigger happy and sniped its ass. Still think about it.

I don't know, I watch a lot of ask reddit and ask reddit stories that are pretty gruesome and grim, a lot of psychopath stories and other dark stuff because for the most part I enjoy the stories but there's something about this channel I don't like, something about the composition and the way they're done.... The jaunty almost jolly music in the background and the voice just so blasè about it all... It kind of sucks. The stories are too much. And I just told another person off for complaining about the sanw thing on a different channel and here I am doing the same thing.
