Today, I am going to rank every Red Dead Redemption 2 character in a tierlist by honor.

Sadie does not deserve a high tier. She’s not honorable and I don’t care what everyone else says. She’s a loose canon that needlessly jeopardized the gang more than once. Black Belle is done much better. If it was a man doing that then the herd’s opinions would be a lot different.
I love Sadie, top 3 gang members for me besides arthur & john but it's true she's not at all honorable, and she never pretends she is.
I would put Penelope Braithwaite a bit lower since she lets her cousin starve to death in a box, even after she says she'll help her
Honestly, she mentioned her cousin might be better off in an asylum. Yeah, at least then she wouldn't have starved to death.

John should definitely be higher. John and Charles are literally the only gunslingers in the gang who were able to go straight and live honest hardworking lives. The only reason he even had to kill anyone in rdr1 was bc he was forced to.
If he hadn't gone after Micah, he wouldn't have experienced Red Dead 1, so I think it's okay.
There's Sadie too who's a bounty hunter
Also John seemed to care about not getting innocents involved (his shock at Dutch killing Heidi McCourt, him insisting to do things properly in the chapter 2 train robbery so no innocent gets killed) so I'd say he's as honorable as an outlaw could be
But where he gets all the dishonour from is his treatment towards jack and abigail until chapter 4, and him deserting the gang for a year
and even tho he wouldn’t do it willingly he had no problem with it

I think the biggest reason he exists is to show just how low Dutch has fallen. He literally turned into the man he hated the most. Even tho he's a lunatic degenerate murderer, I still kind of feel bad for Dutch.
I feel like you did eagle flies dirty. He does care about his fellow native Americans and wants to help them, but goes about it the wrong way. He tries fighting against the army to save his people, but dutch screws them over and uses them, leading to his death.

Yeah, but I would say he is constantly reminded of the sacrifices that he has to make to fight the army and the losses the Native Americans will take by his father and Charles, yet still goes through with it. Maybe he should be a little higher, but risking lives in that way to me is not something a high honor person would do.
@@RedDeadTierLists Well he did say to arthur its better to die fighting than sick and weak, so maybe he just wanted an honorable death for his people, and wanted to honor the ones who came before him by fighting, but was too young and hot headed to see what he was really doing
After Eagle Flies gets wounded, and Arthur, Charles and Paytah take him back to Wapiti, Paytah maintains that they were all grown men, and made their own choices. I know hes reffering to Dutch manipulating them, but it wasn't Eagle Flies' fault
@@RedDeadTierLists Thats more so foolish than anything, he gets himself killed by that behaviour, i would say he has very high honor because he has noble intetions and he seeks to achieve them in a brave yet foolish way.

I feel like the likes of Micah are far too high on this list (yes, even when he’s so low) because he’s simply a psycho, while his writing implies he cares about the money (constantly talking about going back to blackwater with Dutch to get the money, for example) I don’t see much of that in his actions. he kills innocents, frequently chooses violence where it isn’t remotely necessary, and gains very little from it in a material sense. he doesn’t even play friendly with people, not even Dutch really, more acts subordinate to him, he’s unashamedly a bad person who doesn’t care about the people around him, even people he’s been riding with for months. in my opinion doing wrong for “revenge” or especially for financial gain, Cornwall, Braitwaite etc, is more honorable than what Micah does. like at least you set your morals aside for a reason, while Micah completely lacks morals in the first place. I mean he didn’t even have a motivation to become a rat, it’s unclear exactly how it happens (wether he went to them or they captured him and worked out a deal for his release) but either way he could have easily proceeded without co-operating and he doesn’t seem to get any money, freedom or anything else from helping them. he seems to literally just do it hurt the gang for what, his own joy? they wanted Dutch dead/captured more than anyone so it’s not like they would have just let Micah run off with Dutch while they had an arrangement for his freedom in place. he just rats on them to crush the gang, no other reason. that to me makes him the least honorable in the game, closely followed by Dutch.

Can you make a tier list of the gang members of the Van der Linge Gang, which you only evaluate based on their kills by asking yourself whether you, as the leader of the gang, would take them in or throw them out of the gang?
Geddes should be higher up than Hosea and Charles. Just cuz they're gang members. The only flaw Geddes rly have is his "visits to town" lol

I have to disagree about Penelope Braithwaite. I did an experiment. I did the train mission helping her. Before we left the Braithwaite farm, I went to the sister in the outhouse. Penelope said she'd send help for her. John found her dead in the outhouse in 07

Disliking Cornwall's interaction with MILTON and ROSS of all people made me realize how much I disliked Cornwall. I love that he is towards the bottom of the list.

i feel like most of the van der linde gang should be at F tier honor just because of how many people they killed. You could maybe justify them killing other people from other gangs but you cant really justify them killing hundreds of lawmen.

Not really, he doesn't give a shit about laws -he even said so when talking to Milton. He wants to kill Dutch because Dutch robbed him. Cornwall is just a greedy man who only cares about wealth, and to get that wealth he steals lands from Indians which results in war, he destroys other rival buisnesses using force, he burned down a town because it refused to make buisness with him, and he keeps his workers in terrible conditions, he's also friend with Guy who owns slaves in Guarma.
He's a robber baron basicaly, Nothing honorable about Cornwall, he's your typical mustache-twirling villain.

I would say Agent Ross would be in F tier
He doesn't do enough in RDR2 to actually get a spot but for RDR1 easily.

Milton would probably give him a last chance to be a good person, but kill him if he stepped out of line. Ross even went out of his way to antagonize a 4 year old.

Therwe's no way that either milton or arthur is above B tier. They both killed enough people to keep them in C tier imo. S tier is reserved for people to risked their lives to do non-violent things, or help other people.
@@RedDeadTierLists Milton killed people that need killing, he went after dangerous criminals and even gave the Van Der Linde gang multiple chances to surrender Dutch and scatter. There is no evidence to suggest that Milton would've kept going after the gang after their leader was captured.
Arthur definitely should not be number 1 or S tier. But I still think he should be above C though.

Oh I'm gonna milk it even more, but that's the plan! Trying to do some stuff with RDR1 first then GTA V, then some of the other rockstar games like RD Revolver GTA SA GTA 4 and Bully. Defintely wont be making as many videos on those games tho, cause they have much smaller audiences. GTA V will be milked tho.
I would argue that at the very least, Cornwall should be above Colonel Favours. (and correct me if I'm wrong because I'm on chapter 3 of my second playthrough), but we don't see Cornwall do too many 'dishonorable' things, just that he's a capitalist to the extreme basically only motivated by money. I think the most dishonest thing he did was looking for oil on Wapiti. Favours on the other hand is seen breaking treaties, being racist, trying to arrest Captain Monroe, on top of being a coward in battle.
All that being said, it is entirely subjective. Cornwall has (most likely) directly/indirectly worsened the lives of way more people than Favours, it's just that we see Favours taking a more active role in being a steaming pile of shit.

They're not more evil than Micah, they simply have the facilities to do evil on a grander scale. They also do it just for money and power. Strauss didn’t rat on the gang so I wouldn’t put him on F tier. He was still loyal to the gang.
He still destroyed many good people's lives for a few measly dollars. Just bc you're loyal to something doesn't mean you can't be an awful person. Besides, Arthur could go hunting for a few days and make more money than Strauss makes in a year without hurting anyone.
