@@PurpleMoonCats they nerfed it's damage but it's still got an excessive amount of damage to kill you fairly quickly in netherite plus it's sonic boom attack goes through all defense so gl
Watching you discover the deep dark was delightful. It's amazing that you were able to understand that the sculk shrieker was actually trying to call something, too.
Right?? It’s rare you get someone who A: has no idea about it, and B: is savvy enough with the game and general video game mechanics to still be able to deal with it (in this case, dealing with it by avoiding it once the danger has shown itself, lol). I hope the Librarian keeps spoilers about it away from his own eyes, and tries to figure out the secrets of the Deep Dark for himself. I imagine figuring out the wool trick or how you can crouch to sneak around would be super rewarding.
Let's be honest the reason why we didn't see much activity last episode was because liberty was smacking the demons with the lantern before librarian could notice like a nice innocent bean
I recommend leaving the 'cracked' amethyst blocks intact. They regenerate the amethyst shards after you harvest them, so it's a renewable source of amethyst without destroying the entire geode! Also, if you're near the Deep Dark or the warden, crouch to stay quiet - that way, you'll go undetected.
Hey Librarian! Here's a quick little tip! Aquire a nametag and put it in an anvil, Rename it to Liberty and click it onto Liberty. This will ensure that Liberty never despawns!
Seeing someone experience all these new things for the first time, from the horrors of the Warden, to the adorableness of the Foxes, is something truly special indeed.
I am still adored by the bees. Like every new world I am searching for silk touch tool, snatch couble of bee hives and breed them at home, just for the bees flying around my house
I love how Liberty become one of this channel mascot. I know she's "just a virtual creature" but for some reason I actually felt a emotional connection to her. I actually have an Allay village on my survival map so maybe that's why I felt a connection
Those "herobrine structures" in the forests are just stones. Dont mind mining them they are everywhere. I also have a tip, if you ever find a tree that has flowers in it and is planted in a special type of dirt, just dig straight down and you will find an underground jungle. You can find axolotl down there and you can put them into buckets.
I'm REALLY loving the emergent storytelling here. In a way, as Librarian starts to play along and enters a sanity spiral, it seems like Liberty is a little more than just a pet. He started leaning into the tailspin and building the cathedral after he freed Liberty and accidentally gave her a lantern, which is typically a flame-based light source inside a protective chamber. Like a lit candle. Symbolically, he's put himself, his soul, in the hands of Liberty, who will keep it safe, but refuses to leave hell, just like the ghosts won't stop tormenting Librarian. At the same time, his sanity WITHOUT the lantern is subtly degrading faster, leading him to pull pieces of the Nether out and build a fortress around himself. How long until he is the monster he fears? (No analysis of events in this video; I have yet to watch and analysis like this requires me mulling it over for a while, as this is unscripted and Librarian only lightly indicates where he has specifically noticed features of a character arc.)
Hi, this is Nox with Lunar Eclipse studios. I’m glad you’re enjoying the mod, and just wanted you to know that your encounter with Herobrine at 29:48 was with my pride and joy, the Glitch skin. I’ve been keeping up with your videos and was waiting for him to show up 😄
I know this is months old, but I'd think you'd like to know that this isn't the first encounter of that specific skin. I'm not sure if th-cam.com/video/9IXEMyuqiAo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NXiWg7lrtn-l309l&t=3717 is the first, or if one happened even earlier, but regardless, he appeared an episode before this one. :)
You guys did amazing with this mod! I'm constantly talking about the amount of attention that went into making this. It's so well made. My favorite herobrine skins have to be the skulk one and the one that looks like his eyes are sunken in and he has these Venom-like protrusions like leeches or something. Super cool.
41:36 should be noted that, while you cant directly tame a fox, if you breed two foxes using sweet berries their kit will 'trust' you, following you around and picking up items nearby although if they're still young and an adult fox runs away from you the kit might run with them too, so might wanna bring a lead with you as well theres like two more pages of fox behavior but thats the basics of it, the rest you should find out pretty quickly 52:03 you can actually! around the floor of that nether biome theres crimson fungus (red mushrooms with orange spots), if you bone meal those on crimson nylium (the red grassy stuff) they'll grow into their huge fungus ("tree") form however as far as i know the only ways to get crimson nylium and bring it back to the overworld are either through chests in the bastions or using silk touch on em
Not sure how much was cut between the initial Warden encounter and Librarian sounding relieved to see the glitchy ghost at 29:48 but the idea of being RELIEVED to look over and see a ghost and realizing it's just one of the ghosts and NOT the Warden is hilarious to me. Like that terrifying first encounter just left such an impression that anything else is calming in a weird way because it's not quite as horrific.

I saw Liberty in the thumbnail and was like "yes! He saved liberty!" Oh and try to get her a name tag, the most popular method I've seen people obtain them is from fishing.
Y'know... Binge watching all these videos and seeing the details of the world, it makes me think about the "story" of this place. Not just the titanic caverns hollowing out the crust, but the random cracks and canyons dotted across the forest, even the tear that Librarian placed his Nether portal in. Makes me think either a series of earthquakes may have woken something up, or the things haunting you CAUSED the 'quakes... It's those little implied stories that happen by complete accident that really makes one string together ideas from nowhere.
Hell, to add to it- Librarian supposedly arrived on the land from a shipwreck that crashed ashore. Perhaps these earthquakes caused the crash. I think we all know what happens when you mix earthquakes with the ocean...
Hey Librarian, just some quick spoiler free advice for you! Try crouching next time you see that dark scary biome underground. You won't set off those tentacle blocks or the screaming one as long as you sneak past them. Try using bone meal on the red and blue mushrooms you find in the Nether, they will grow into the big Nether trees. Sick of the big hogs attacking you? Place some blue mushrooms around! They are frightened away by them and won't come close if you are near one! When it comes to the Nether wart blocks of the trees, try using a hoe. A lot of organic blocks such as those and even leaves break faster using a hoe. Really enjoying the series and hope this helps!
episode 1: i dont want to farm animals it would be cruel episode 2: where do you think youre going? back in the cage episode 4: *slaughters the piglin kind* episode 5: so i sit here atop my bone throne
34:51 "I don't have any inventory space to take back more of this iron" But they had 58 and 3 in another slot. zombie coffing to death and burning The Librarian: "excuse me, can you please shut up thank you."
This is easily the best minecraft let's play ever. It's too wholesome having someone who is an old player come back and experience all the new stuff, while also being haunted by a malicious and friendly ghost.
6:56 When using a lead, if it has already wrangled what you want to bring, right clicking on a fence will tie it around it and keep the mob near that fence. Hope this helps Librarian-san
that warden encounter was such a delight as a player tuned in to all the updates! i have always followed minecraft updates point for point, mechanic for mechanic so when i first encountered the deep dark i already knew everything. it’s refreshing to see someone encounter these newer mechanics without knowing anything about them, experiencing the full horror that comes from the unknown. loving the playthrough!
Alright, firstly: PEOPLE, if you plan on explaining him stuff, try to stay a minimal vague when delivering information, so to add room for him to get his own interpretation and wonders. *With that being said, I'd like to address you a bit of a positive comment, Librarian:* It is so fun to see you discover the game's features! It's not like straight up Wikipedia, but details that you encounter in your journey and led you to conclusions that are quite plausible. You have such an analytic mind! :D -Like: "Oh I took damage by falling on the dripstone.", discovering that feature was accidental, yet very great! -And, the amethyst geode! You managed to observe different block features and create good theories on what they do and can't do! Or "It gives me vibes that I shouldn't explore further deep." When encountering the "night sky" blocks. Which, you're right xp Regarding the odd Biome you found so deep: I won't spoil you everything, but I will give you this: There is something to observe, that is really crucial, in how those strange noise making blocks works. If you learn their limits, you can open up a new path of exploration. As for whatever emerged from the floor... This is what happens when you disturb the peace of this place. Ironically, the very nature of that "Thing" is key to a bigger hint, in what this place possesses. Who knows, maybe you'll find more than diamonds? I wonder if you'll give it a specific name. I recall doing the same thing when I encountered it, and I stuck by it ever since then, even if the "official naming" isn't the same. It just feels more personal. :)
That big creature that came up from the ground is a warden, Do not fight him he can almost one shot you and has a TON of health The respawn anchor is used for respawning in the nether. It only has a limited number of uses(4) but you can recharge it with I think glowstone The crunching sound in the cave is when you land a critical hit on a mob The barrel is a form of storage that’s not flammable, they can still catch fire from lava though :( They’ve also added pandas into the game as well The purple stuff in the cave is called skulk, the thing that called the warden is a Shrieker, The other thing is a skulk sensor, It picks up sound and emits a redstone signal Can’t wait for part 6, Love this series so far!
This is soooo cool seeing him see the lost city stuff for the first time ps the thing that crawled out of the ground is the warden, if u crouch and stay silent you’ll be fine
Sorta it still can find him if he's not quick enough I drafted the warden with gold apples and water not easy but I had I sharpness five amd full never Armour with enchant apples
With dynamic lights on, even the lantern Liberty carries will light up the area. So it might be worth taking her with you. Edit: when will I learn to save my comments for _after_ the video Also you can tame baby foxes with those berries you found before
@@FiatUno2003 Yes but I got it slightly wrong, you breed two wild foxes and the resulting baby is born tamed. You can't tame the already adult ones tho
Seeing Liberty become so popular amongst the fans is extremely wholesome. I thought i couldn't love the librarian and his community. Thank you so much for your videos, and experiences. The creepy comfort vibes are better than my medications at calming my anxiety disorder. This is *the* perfect channel. Everything you release is a treasure, and the nostalgic vibes will only get better, because ill be coming back and watching these videos until I physically cant.
The area in 24:00 is called the deep dark. The thing that spawned it is called the shrieker and what spawned is called the warden which can’t see but can hear you if you make any noise. What I recommend is to get better gear and to crouch in that area
1:09:52 I just noticed... Your house is sus. Also, I really like the story that is forming around usual exploration of vanilla minecraft with extra creepyness. Is is such a goldmine for storytelling. Like very novice explorer has got to see the ancient legend in the place he was very long time ago, and by the time of returning to it, have met the force, that turned his mind in unexpected way, finding darkness all around the secret he is so desperate to seek and inside his slowly fading mind and soul. This is like a backstory for haunting house detective. I so want you to build a lighthouse, just for the hell of it.
Love seeing your uploads Librarian, and amazing fan art! I’ve started my own survival ‘from the fog’ world after being inspired by you. What I’ve found most useful against this torch/light source hating ghost is to always having a supple amount of materials to make 8 minute night vision potions. It helps with caving, (underwater adventures especially) and night times immensely, if you keep a good supply of those potions, constantly trying to light the way isn’t even a problem worth considering anymore as long as you restock on potion materials. The recipe for 8 minute potions is: netherwart, golden carrot (surround carrot with golden nuggets) and red stone dust. (Aswell as blaze powder to power the brewing stand) you can also then add some gunpowder to the finished potion to make it a splash potion for quick use. Good luck on your adventures, my friend-Safe travels ;)
When you asked Liberty to go back in and she complied its honestly kind of, its one of those sweet coincidences that ur not sure if its actually a coincidence or not
Oh, God, going BACK to the burning spot right next to the Herobrine Tunnel Cave... Even before hearing the "Why are you following me, stop it" story, I agree, running across random fire in Minecraft always startles me. Even if it's not exactly the idea of Someone's Here With me, I always get DANGER DANGER DANGER signals, I feel like I HAVE TO go check it out and make sure, oh, okay, it's just a lava pool. Not sure what else I'm expecting it to be. No clue what I'd do if it wasn't lava. But I have to look. Imagine if one time it's just a single lava source block placed on the ground in the middle of a forest. Same thing with Ruined Nether Portals now that they're a thing, run up to the chest, loot, look around for gold blocks, then Get Out. I never take them down. They just stand there, a landmark haunting me whenever I travel past. Always say I'm going to come back and make them my first Nether Entrance, then I never do. You're a braver man than I, Librarian.
19:37 You have no idea how right you are, lol. I think you got to the "Deep Dark", there's a new mob down there that hits not like a truck but like a train. That mob is blind and uses sound to hunt you. You make noise by walking without pressing shift or whatever button you use for crouching, by runing, putting and breaking blocks, and by triggerring thos things (23:07). You can muffle the noise using wool I think. Also, this series elicits such a feeling of nostalgia. It's great. I think it's about time I subscribe. Edit: I just saw you actually encountered it haha.
The way Liberty seemed to look at you and looked like she was listening to you and about to give you a hug at 1:14, AHHH it made my heart melt, I love her so much, she's so pure and so sweet and an absolute FRENN 😭🥰
50:25 I think the fear is less that the occurrences are more common at this point, but rather *when* these spectral figures will *interact* with you directly. Honestly, the encounter with the Shulkers when not sneaking or crouching (or sound proofing the caves) is much worse than whatever spectre a person could encounter, but the more I watch this series, the more I miss the days of playing this game. I hope I could fix the issue with Java that's been happening to play this mod, because I feel the mod only does true justice when someone gets to experience it themselves directly. Cheers for the series, Librarian! Edit: I'm sure this is false, but someone had mentioned that throwing a diamond into a 3x3 "well" made from wooden logs with a single block of water in the middle would cause another "don't look at the moon" incident. Personally, I think it's fake, but it sounds like something to mention.
When you asked what that 'brutal crunching sound" that was a critical hit, the thing that some people were telling you about in the first few episodes. It signifies that that you just did a critical hit.
41:25 i like how librarian goes from admiring the landscape and what appears to be ancient ruins, and then just drops everything and dies of cuteness the moment he sees a fox
just some tips ! 1. investing your gold into golden apples is quite helpful, they give you a nice boost in a fight 2. an anvil, crafted with 3 iron blocks and 4 iron ingots, will allow you repair armor and tools with their respective ore. you can also use them to add enchanted books to armor and tools. it comes at a price of xp, the more valuable the item, the more pricey it gets 3. opposite of an anvil is the grindstone. the grindstone removes enchants from armor and tools. in removing an enchant, it’ll give some xp. you can use em to get rid of an enchant you don’t want and then replace it with the enchanting table 4. another helpful item, the smoker, is the counterpart of the blast furnace. it cooks food much faster than a plain old furnace. it’s quite an easy craft, just 4 logs and a furnace 5. the structure you found in the nether is called a bastion remnant. there’s a couple of different designs in their generation, but they all contain a bunch of gold and somewhere between 3-10 loot chests depending on which type of bastion you come across. they usually contain some pretty cool loot, such as enchanted iron tools and armor, enchanted diamond tools and armor, golden apples, netherite scraps/ingots (which is used to upgrade diamond tools and armor into netherite) and many more helpful items. some bastions are tougher than others, so i definitely recommend bringing golden apples into the nether if you come across another one.
Nothing more anxiety inducing than watching you descend un prepared into the deep dark biome. Especially as you began to trigger the shrieker. Also, if you want to use mending on something without using the tool, put the tool into your off hand (a sin I know) And it will repair off the EXP you picked up.
This series has been so amazing! it illustrated a big reason I've loved Minecraft for years. the way you sound when you see something new in the game just is so nice! I wanted to explain the thing about the banners and why that one didn't stack. The text it had under the item name was the patterns on it, it essentially registered as a banner the player made and customized with a loom instead of one the pillagers had. banners are pretty fun, the patterns are craftable but some patterns take some pretty rare items.
I feel like after watching this series I will be subconsciously expecting the ghosts to appear in my minecraft worlds. It's so well done. I feel like this series is going to become one of my "comfort series" that I will return to every few years.
I LOVE this series! And Liberty really adds a whimsical touch to things. I love the fan art for Liberty, also! I think Four in particular really captured Liberty's personality.
What you encountered deep below is known as the deep dark. The ancient that is the skulk and its warden. Basically one of the recent updates. The skulk listen to sounds and vibrations, if your quiet (ie crouching) you may be able to get by without a fight. It's very dangerous but the loot is good.
Ideas for next video: 1. Play at the witching hour, the mod might do something depending on real time. 2. The mushrooms in the nether might have the solution to creating your own extradimensional arboretum. 3. Stand in pitch darkness for a while, maybe something spooky happens. 4. To obtain blocks that you couldn't get with shears seek out the enchanting table, with enough magical force you may get something that can quench your desire. 5. Do not talk in chat, you have already done that in one of the previous videos. 6. Check if all types sound in the settings are turned on *except music since Minecraft music never fits the mood*. P.S. I really like the series, its fun watching someone being reintroduced to a drastically different world., like showing medieval people a lighter, or getting out of a long prison sentence.
Great Episode! Don't worry about always having to get something big accomplished everytime. We are here for the ride whatever it may be. Also a little building tip! As long as you have the block you are looking at somewhere in your inventory, you can press in the middle mouse button to get the block you are looking at to your hotbar, provided you have it in your inventory. It might help you when building your big witches lair. Especially with black stones that look somewhat similar.
Librarian: “just because you dress the same doesn’t mean you can hang out with us, herobrine!” Herobrine: “aight bet, Alex sweetie go scare the hell outta him.”
Loving this series so much! All the fan-arts during the intro just revoked in me an era of minecraft playthroughs by small youtubers who had such connection with their viewers and who used to do this kind of long-fledged mc videos
I realise now the specific brand of nostalgia this series is giving me - especially with the personalised sign last episode, it's the childhood unknown creepiness of Shadow of Israphel, with the perfect vibe of the Librarian's analytical and immersive approach to games.
0:50 'Well, there I am. Conker, the king. King of all the land. Who've thought that? "But how did I come to this?", I hear you say. "And who are those strange fellows that surround my throne?", I hear you also say. Well, it's a long story. Come closer, and I'll tell you. It all started.... yesterday. And what a day that was. It's what I call a Bad Fur Day.'
57:48. There is a thing in minecraft called "local difficulty". The longer you stay in one area the harder mobs will spawn around you. Zombies and Skeletons will start wearing armor, zombies will carry swords and shovels and skellies will have enchanted bows. Also witches will start spawning and some spiders will be invisible. I believe it takes around 50 hours of real time to max it out.
Spooky horror-esque cave material is called the Deepdark! Don't want to spoil too much how everything works there but just know that sight is less important than sound. Sneaking can help! (And look out for three "strikes")!
i got so happy seeing someone coming back to minecraft blindly and finding the warden for the first time. btw i do have to say that you sir have a delicius voice to hear. ps: the warden (thing that came from inside the ground) is blind. if you don't move, drop an item, break something, jump or stuff like that, he won't notive you, and the stuff on the ground was indeed bringing him to your location, it was detecting your steps and making a loud sound so he could find you. you made the right decision on backing off.
Wow I love that your experiencing the game for the first time in forever its really cool to watch someone try and figure everything out makes me want to skip a whole bunch of updates to make the game feel fresh again. Plus you play the game like someone who is an old school player which is really refreshing when every minecraft youtuber needs to create the most massive and beautiful structures. I personally have a hard time playing minecraft bc im never happy with what I make bc I subconsciously Compare it with other people builds.
man i LOVED the fanart section in the beginning of the vid. very reminiscent of when everyone used to show their fanart. love the videos librarian. keep up the good work and be happy
That encounter with the warden not knowing anything about it was hilarious! It's exactly what I expected; However, I didn't expect you to guess right that the shriekers were calling something.. Also, gold has quite a few uses! It's used for rail systems, armor when in the nether, golden apples, golden carrots (best food source), and bartering (random but can give renewable obsidian, soulsand, gravel, blackstone, nether quarts, iron, bottles; and is an option for passive string and leather! You can also get Fire resistance potions, eyes of ender, arrows and spectral arrows. It also has a unique enchantment you only get from bartering! All in all a lot of good stuff). 35:05 those "cracked" ones actually grow more amethyst shards! You cannot collect the blocks..it hurt seeing you break them.
That little funny cave monster is the "warden". it is deep inside cave systems and has its own type of habitat called the "ancient city". Those goopy black looking blocks are called sculk blocks and those usually indicate that there might be a ancient city near. There is two types of blocks that help the warden locate you since it cannot see, but hear and smell. One of the blocks is called sculk sensor and it detects any type of noise and sends them to nearby sensors or the so called "screechers". If these screechers are activated 3 times by either noise, or other sensors, the warden will rise out of the sculk blocks and try to find you. If you make noise, while the warden is near, those signals can also be directly sent to the wardens antenna thingys on his head so it can locate you easier. If the warden knows where you are, it will start sprinting towards you and if you try to build up so you can't get hit by him, he will simply blast a shockwave at you and you will fall. So it's smart to sneak, or walk on carpets, near those sensors and screechers, to break them and continue with your journey. I'd recommend not to start a fight with the warden, since with full netherite armor it can still kill you with a few hits. It also has more health than the ender dragon, just saying. Oh and you can throw snowballs, or shoot arrows, so the warden gets distracted.
@@Hoogalindo Why let him find out stuff himself? I'm just helping out. He doesn't have to read all this. I'm not forcing him to. He can read this if he wants to.
I discovered you with this series and you're very quickly becoming one of my favourite TH-camrs ever, I went back and watched so many hours of your content and I can't put into words how much I enjoy the creepy and comfy feel of your videos.

If you still have the lodestone, you can place it down at your base (or wherever you want to return to) and right click a compass on it. This will make the compass always point to the lodestone for more direct navigation. The monster that came out of the ground is called the warden, and it doesn't need mods to be the most terrifying thing in the game
And also it hits like a truck you can get one shot with neatherite armor on. or 2 shot i cant remember.

His reaction to the warden was exactly how I expected

An addendum to that: Carry wool, it dampens sound
The warden is just a scary nextbot, I can’t unsee it now

Those "herobrine structures" in the forests are just stones. Dont mind mining them they are everywhere. @@fisiax5460 could you imagine how cute it would be to have Liberty holding a little axolotl? 🥺

Super cool.
41:36 should be noted that, while you cant directly tame a fox, if you breed two foxes using sweet berries their kit will 'trust' you, following you around and picking up items nearby
although if they're still young and an adult fox runs away from you the kit might run with them too, so might wanna bring a lead with you as well
theres like two more pages of fox behavior but thats the basics of it, the rest you should find out pretty quickly
52:03 you can actually! around the floor of that nether biome theres crimson fungus (red mushrooms with orange spots), if you bone meal those on crimson nylium (the red grassy stuff) they'll grow into their huge fungus ("tree") form
however as far as i know the only ways to get crimson nylium and bring it back to the overworld are either through chests in the bastions or using silk touch on em

Librarian from the fog lore?!?!?!

*With that being said, I'd like to address you a bit of a positive comment, Librarian:*
It is so fun to see you discover the game's features! It's not like straight up Wikipedia, but details that you encounter in your journey and led you to conclusions that are quite plausible. You have such an analytic mind! :D
-Like: "Oh I took damage by falling on the dripstone.", discovering that feature was accidental, yet very great!
-And, the amethyst geode! You managed to observe different block features and create good theories on what they do and can't do!
Or "It gives me vibes that I shouldn't explore further deep." When encountering the "night sky" blocks. Which, you're right xp
Regarding the odd Biome you found so deep: I won't spoil you everything, but I will give you this:
There is something to observe, that is really crucial, in how those strange noise making blocks works.
That big creature that came up from the ground is a warden, Do not fight him he can almost one shot you and has a TON of health
The respawn anchor is used for respawning in the nether. It only has a limited number of uses(4)
but you can recharge it with I think glowstone
The crunching sound in the cave is when you land a critical hit on a mob
The barrel is a form of storage that’s not flammable, they can still catch fire from lava though :(
They’ve also added pandas into the game as well
The purple stuff in the cave is called skulk, the thing that called the warden is a Shrieker,
The other thing is a skulk sensor,
It picks up sound and emits a redstone signal
Can’t wait for part 6, Love this series so far!

42:30 You melting to the sound of fox snores is the most wholesome thing I've seen in forever :)
7:06 You can tie the lead on fences. You can use Liberty to gather eggs in a chest I think.
42:49 just seeing his arm behind the tree while he doesn't even notice it is pretty spooky
19:37
You have no idea how right you are, lol.
Edit: I just saw you actually encountered it haha.
aasaagdajghsaaahaha you can't believe how much it means to see my fanart at the beginning! Thank you sooo much for the spotlight!

2. an anvil, crafted with 3 iron blocks and 4 iron ingots, will allow you repair armor and tools with their respective ore. you can also use them to add enchanted books to armor and tools. it comes at a price of xp, the more valuable the item, the more pricey it gets
3. opposite of an anvil is the grindstone. the grindstone removes enchants from armor and tools. in removing an enchant, it’ll give some xp. you can use em to get rid of an enchant you don’t want and then replace it with the enchanting table
4. another helpful item, the smoker, is the counterpart of the blast furnace. it cooks food much faster than a plain old furnace. it’s quite an easy craft, just 4 logs and a furnace
5. the structure you found in the nether is called a bastion remnant. there’s a couple of different designs in their generation, but they all contain a bunch of gold and somewhere between 3-10 loot chests depending on which type of bastion you come across. they usually contain some pretty cool loot, such as enchanted iron tools and armor, enchanted diamond tools and armor, golden apples, netherite scraps/ingots (which is used to upgrade diamond tools and armor into netherite) and many more helpful items. some bastions are tougher than others, so i definitely recommend bringing golden apples into the nether if you come across another one.
Those fanarts were crazy. Definitely wasn't expecting those at the start of the video. Love this community!
Nothing more anxiety inducing than watching you descend un prepared into the deep dark biome. Especially as you began to trigger the shrieker.
Also, if you want to use mending on something without using the tool, put the tool into your off hand (a sin I know) And it will repair off the EXP you picked up.
Its so cool to see fan art at the beginning of the video! I wish too see more of that!
Ideas for next video:
I love how Librarian made a Liberty franchise!
Liberty is so cute!
Bamboo can be used to craft scaffolding. Its a block which you can pass through and press either space or shift to ascend and descend accordingly.
Librarian: “just because you dress the same doesn’t mean you can hang out with us, herobrine!”
Herobrine: “aight bet, Alex sweetie go scare the hell outta him.”
i still can’t get over the among us house
"just because you dress the same [as zombies] herobrine, doesn't mean you get to hang out with this crew."
alexbrine: "bet."
The material is called Sculk, the biome is the deep dark 😊
i got so happy seeing someone coming back to minecraft blindly and finding the warden for the first time.
btw i do have to say that you sir have a delicius voice to hear.
ps: the warden (thing that came from inside the ground) is blind. if you don't move, drop an item, break something, jump or stuff like that, he won't notive you, and the stuff on the ground was indeed bringing him to your location, it was detecting your steps and making a loud sound so he could find you. you made the right decision on backing off.
To help don't watch TH-cam minecraft for like a week then start playing build your style then add a bit of flavor.
You will be fine.
man i LOVED the fanart section in the beginning of the vid. very reminiscent of when everyone used to show their fanart. love the videos librarian. keep up the good work and be happy
Just to let you know I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to put mossy cobblestone under the nether block in the hero brine shrine
Nah, he has the OG Shrine Mechanic set to False, so of course it won't do anything.
@@abadgurl2010 nah he turned that on halfway through the ep
Oh and you can throw snowballs, or shoot arrows, so the warden gets distracted.
basically the minecraft horror update
Why not just let him find out this stuff himself?
@@Hoogalindo Why let him find out stuff himself? I'm just helping out. He doesn't have to read all this. I'm not forcing him to. He can read this if he wants to.
@@sandpiles Okay.
@@Hoogalindo Yes.
literally the art at the beginning is so cute and cool i cannot
😭😭❤
I discovered you with this series and you're very quickly becoming one of my favourite TH-camrs ever, I went back and watched so many hours of your content and I can't put into words how much I enjoy the creepy and comfy feel of your videos.
I love your videos they are literally a comfort space for me and just having that creepy feeling makes it even better I literally used to feel like this every time I would play Minecraft and it just really brings me back
im gonna binge watch this series when i get off of work tonight !! i love the vibes
Ok so I adore this series, it would be really cool to see you survive the wither storm
To answer your question about the mob spawns, the longer you stay in an area the "Local Difficulty" goes up, it can also increase by moon phases.
Watching you see the Warden without knowing what it is 😂😂 the first genuinely scary thing in vanilla minecraft. I love this episode
You encouraged me to download this mod. I love and appreciate your editing styles and just the way you speak. It is very relaxing. :)
Librarian: "Seems we have a new Biome-"
Me: *can't quite see it* "Oh cool I wonder which one?"
Librarian: *steps on sculk*
Me: "OH NO-"
If you still have the lodestone, you can place it down at your base (or wherever you want to return to) and right click a compass on it. This will make the compass always point to the lodestone for more direct navigation. Of course, if you find adventuring more fun with landmarks/approximating directions and locations, that's up to you :^)
Is this a stolen comment? I saw someone say this about 40 min ago
