- You cannot build a relationship with someone who isn’t invested in you emotionally at the same level that you are investing in them. Stop accepting crumbs and convincing yourself it’s a meal.

“Your only job is to protect your heart and protect your boundaries” JT
Thank you, that's exactly what I needed. After six months, she started breadcrumbing me so I started breadcrumbing her and I thought to myself this is a game that I no longer want to play.
It stings my heart, but I'd rather have a sting now then a burn later.
It’s not your job to convince someone to be emotionally available. Amen to that 🙌🏼❤💯
Learning from two failed relationships, I've come to understand this crucial lesson: the phenomenon of breadcrumbing doesn't magically disappear even after half a decade of commitment. In my sixth year of serious relationship, I found myself making excuses for my partner's behavior, rationalizing his neglect as we had already woven our lives and dreams together. But while I was pouring my heart into our relationship, he seemed more devoted to his basil plants than to nurturing our connection. Blinded by love, I tolerated the crumbs of attention he sparingly offered. Eventually, he ended our relationship, citing a lack of love. Looking back, I realize I should have had the courage to walk away a year earlier.
I am so sorry to hear that. It’s very sad at first when you realize that you should have listened to your gut feelings. But be as gentle with yourself as possible because what we do when we are under the spell of love is honorable and it’s not easy to walk away when we still love someone. With time it becomes easier and a lot more doable because what will matter most is the truth that is: are we celebrated, seen and loved here or not. Coz feeling love is just not enough
Let it go. Let go of controlling someone. Be comfortable with yourself.
The issue with that is that sometimes you love someone who's not ready... I guess you gotta move on!
Thank you for this video. I listen to it every time I doubt my decision to leave my ex who was bread-crumbing me. Protect your heart!
Right on

Wow, you just shared everything that I'd wished I'd know years ago. I didn't know what I didn't know. Now I do.
This video hits hard. Thank you
Needed to hear this today 🥹. Thank you Jillian. 🙏🏼
I absolutely agree with every word! 💯👏👏I was in such a terrible relationship with an unmarried man I was in love with. He wasn't in love with me. He didn't want to communicate with me in a way that was healthy for me. I came out of this relationship exactly as you say. Thank you so much for information!
I can relate. Here is to walking away from what doesn’t serve and honor us. I wish you and all of us here to meet the right person 🤍
Excellent!
Another one... thank God!

You can't breadcrumb someone who's not starving... Damn!
I wish you are my friend :) thank you
Fuckin well said
Usually, it's the women for are dishing out the crumbs.
Not necessarily
Depends really
If I didn't accept crumbs, I wouldn't get any love at all. Sometimes you have to work with what life gives you.
