Thank you. I have been dealing with some serious hip issues lately, and while there were a few (for me) sticky spots, I was so happy with this practice. And yes, legs up the world rules! Great for lowering blood pressure, quieting the mind, and feeling restored and refreshed! Thank you again.
It being the dead of winter here in Canada, I'm so delighted to hear all those chatty birds! I have a question about Japanese seated position which is a pose I struggle with because the front of my ankles aren't very mobile. Whats happening with the feet and legs? Are they active, pressing down? I'd love to gain more strength/mobility in my ankles.
omg wtf i was going ahead of her during the cooling down period cuz i couldnt see my screen and i was planning to skip shavasana so i just went into a reclining butterfly and then a few seconds later she announced reclining butterfly!! guess im kinda in tune w my body hahaha
Day 5/30. Today I reached my limit, which frustrated me beyond belief. And I felt that throughout the whole video. Downfacing dog does not work long, because the weight on the wrists very quickly begins to hurt. The wide open legs also do not work, it goes a little more like hip width. It does not relax me, I struggle too much.
These longer practices really are challenging so please don’t be disheartened. My suggestion for down dog is to come down into child’s pose when it’s too much on your wrists or if you would something more challenging then use dolphin on your forearms. You are doing so well for getting here & any amount of practice you do is beneficial ❤️
