We sang "Hear my prayer" as a virtual choir during Covid-19. His wedding march remains popular at the end of wedding services. I love Mendelssohn's music. He has had his detractors but I think he has seen them off. The violin concerto, Hebrides Overture and Italian Symphony are ever present. I went to hear the Scottish Symphony (No. 3) during the BBC Proms concert series in the summer. Organ and chamber works... Last, if not least, he revived the works of J S Bach.
