I love that he’s getting lessons, nothing makes you feel safer than a driver taking responsibility. He’s going to be a great driver once he’s finished. I wish more people would normalise getting help if you’ve had a break, especially as a new driver.
It's true to an extent. Some people pick up driving so much quicker than others, I felt completely natural on the road 3 months after passing but I had a driving job for my local council straight after passing my test which helped alot 😅
Really depends on how often you drive after getting your license. You definitely learn the most once you're free to roam the roads. I started to really feel comfortable around 6 months after passing the test and daily driving.
I wonder if he is a naturally nervous person or possibly had his confidence knocked in other parts of his life. I personally think he learned to relxed he would do much better. Nice of you to help him out.
Great video Aman, Kieran seems like a nice guy got to respect him for recognising he needed extra help before getting behind the wheel on his own. With his mindset I reckon he’ll be a good little driver in time.
Thankfully I passed today, first time manual. I was soooo nervous and thought I failed but in the end I did it haha, I can finally watch these videos without stressing
Well done Kieran, you got this! You just need a helping hand to gain the confidence and then there'll be no stopping you. You'll whizzing up the M6 and the A7 to Edinburgh and you'll be beeping and waving to me as you pass! Looking forward to your next video with Aman.
He is so nervous and doesn't exhibit any traits of a full license holder. I hope he puts a P plate on his car, for others to be alert around him. Not to discourage the guy, he did the right decision to get trained again.. so kudos to his sensibility.
It’s great he’s getting more lessons after passing. Many get way too confident, start developing bad habits and have an accident very soon after passing.
@@Putri-nl2ggHere in Australia you have to have P plates for 3 years after you pass your test and it's only then that you get a full 'open' licence. The first year is red Ps and there are certain restrictions and the other two years green Ps where the restrictions are a little less. In most places here no-one under 20 has a full licence. I think they're a good idea. It's good to know a driver is inexperienced just like with learners having L plates.
My instructor was telling me that you actually lose driving if you don't drive right after you pass your test as it is in your short term memory. When you drive for years it's in your long term memory, so then you don't loose the ability of driving if you stop for a while. I think it makes sense. @@akBeuy56
I wanted to say thank you! I been watching your videos past 1 month and i had more lessions then i had my driver test today I PASS in first time thank you very helpfull channel good luck everyone! :)
I’m been driving in the states since I was 16, and if I brought an manual car, I would need lessons. I know how to burn out a clutch, and stall out. I had 3 manuals. And within 6 months they all had an burn out clutch. I’m now 34, and I only buy automatic. Last time I drove an manual was in Iceland in 2018 for an week. It was an rental, automatic rentals were too expensive. I’ve never been in UK, she just randomly popped up one day been watching her since. Some of these videos are very entertaining.
He's such a sweet guy. I have size three feet,so I can't actually rest my heel on the floor whilst I move from accelerator to brake. Also,I'd have to sit all the way up to the steering wheel to operate the clutch from the middle of my foot.

Kieran's, good smoothed driving, look a bit nerves? Getting things under control. He should be alright, knowing what he have to do, when he comes to clutch control, and dealing with big roundabout. Awareness and observation are paramount.🚗
My test is exactly a month from today I have had around 10-11 lessons with an instructor and 8-10 with my dad. Done a practice mock test 20-30m the other day and my instructor believes it would be best to reschedule it for a month further. Main faults were driving a bit too close too other cars, not checking mirrors once or twice. And he decided to press the brake because he thought I was not gonna stop the car but I was going to. He had life less than had a page on his notepad of things to work on
He also said my overall driving is to a good standard. So idk if he’s doing it to make more money. Or if he actually wants me too pass? Should be able to fit in another 8-10 hours with him before that date and 6-8 hrs with my dad atleast so feel like I should have enough time 🤗 what would u recommend? I overall thing it will come down to my nervous on the day. Also is the test as hard and scary as the instructor makes it seem?
@@young_legend8091i pushed my test back by 3 weeks by suggestion of my instructor and it definitely made a huge difference! the test isn’t as scary as people make it seem, it’s mainly about keeping calm and being confident in your driving. hope that’s useful! :)
