More players need to learn the difference between "spawn camping" and "spawn pushing." Odd is absolutely correct, pushing the spawn once you've capped out the whole map is part of the game. But bypassing the caps to shoot into the spawn, without controlling all the points, is bad manners and is true spawn camping. Also, it is bad manners to continue spawn pushing if you lose the caps. Be a good teammate and lead by example.
I swear to the great Snail Gaijin for every time someone says "first" a Warthunder play suffers a bug, glitch, uptier, or such. You know, I wish I had the Brummbar, but I aint willing to spend money on it, no point really lol. I think my problem is I am still in the mind set of "I have to grind every vehicle" rather than "lets just sit back, play a fun tank, and relax."
I used to have the same perspective, it really takes away from the fun of the game and made me more toxic when I didn't have a good game. Exclusively playing the simulator battles where I can can only play tanks at like 3.0 for instance really revived my love for the game, it shifted the focus from grind to fun.

You could always just keep grabbing daily login crates for golden eagle wagers, and then do okay and earn a few golden eagles for some lower tier premiums. That's how I got my brummbar, and (regrettably) the Ram.
Yeah, you need to get out of that mindset. Start making lineups for fun or theme, not for grinding. I've filled out my presets with meme lineups and just fun lineups (like "early T-34" lineups or "Panzer IV" lineups and whatnot), and only saved one for a dedicated grind lineup that I only ever use during events and the like.

LOL...yeesssss...I've had so much fun in my Brummbar. REally. I got it in the lineup with my favorite CAS plane at the same BR the He219, command Pz4 J, and the 1.7 quickie boi/puma with the 10 shot mag. All premium and maximizing the SL earnings. The smack-down the Brummbar does is just VERY gratifying for sure. Although, I did bounce a HEAT round off an ASU-57 TWICE in the same shot. Once off the front deck and the second bounce of the shot came off the crew compartment. Weird. Great stuff Odd, keep it up!
I think you should give the T-28E a try odd, the volumetric shell update has had a profound effect on its performance IMO. It's a derpy, fun time with some fantastic Aircraft options to go with it. The 76mm chodey gun gets the job done too.
That KV-2 had more flames coming out of it than me trying to cook a burger on my grill. Btw at 6:05 the 88mm flak thingies front wheel is locked up. The same thing happened to me when I was using my ZIS-12 For some reason when the tire shows damage, it just locks up. Thats the 1st time I saw that happen to me. So yeah his front tire is just not turning lol

i love this tank. Great front armour and a gun that can remove anything, what not to love. Two days ago i got a 12 kill game was so much fun and one of the few time i had run out of ammo with it.
I love my Brummbar! Best shot I have ever done was to, by complete accident, angle up on the side of a hill to get more range and fire just as an I-16 flew over. 150mm HE shell VS. bathtub sized plane is totally hilarious. It got tons of laughs from both sides.
On 1 hand it would take a minute or more per reload making its usefulness limitted. On the other hand its a friggin Sturm Tiger and could obliterate Madagascar in 2 hits.

I think what Gavin did to the flak 8.8 cm was they had all the wheels but two go in the direction of travel and two in the opposite in order to artificially keep the speed of it down and not too fast.
When I played the Brummbär I actually noticed that the Ammunition sometimes behaves like HESH. I hit a KV-1 in the turret-side at a big angle(almost ricochet) and the shrapnel penetrated the 75mm plate even though it doesnt have enough penetrating power... (still went right through the engine-deck)
I was thinking about you making a Brummbär video (My favorite tabk in WT) and now my prayers have been answered. Next is a video of how to play the tech tree DO 335s.
Your better than 95% of people I end up in a match with cause you wait till all points are capped and their being pushed to their spawn whereas the people I end up with cap a point and then rush the other teams spawn and end up costing us the game.
Hard to believe the reload time of that kv-2 you took out. Stock KV-2 43.3 secs Brumbair 22.4 secs . I bet the kv-2 was still reloading from his last game when you took him out. I researched my kv-2 but will never actually buy it with S/L just because of its reload time. Plus I have a low amout of S/Ls at the moment lol. Odd is it better to become a premium member? Do they give you some S/Ls when you sign up?
If recommend binding a key to sight distance Control. It'll allow you to set your gun to a specific rwnnge. Really useful if you want. To make fine adjustments with any gun at range.
Personally I love when you “adopt” random teammates and get really invested in how they’re doing, it’s super wholesome.
