10:50 I think revenge killing is more about the intention, than the act itself. I wont spawn in an aircraft just to find and go after the guy that killed me but I also wont spare him if I happen to see him and I definitely will go for him, if he's playing the objective. I think that's fair.
They're both fair IMO though I don't think the killcam should be there for anything but arcade mode, getting that awesome yet vulnerable sniping position only to be snitched on by the cam is worse than any revenge kill.
If it's in the game, it's fair game. Don't like me revenge-bombing you? Play a different game. I saw you on the killcam, so I know where you are hiding. Thank Gaijin for bad mchanics.

The tutor is fine, and pointing out what is going wrong, either for yourself, your team, or the enemy is great lessons for us all. Teaching somebody by showing them is a whole lot better then just reading it. Great video. o7
@@CommanderAustria Unfortunately spawn camping is a problem with the entire game and not his specific playstyle, the maps are so small as soon as you overrun the enemy you are spawn camping them lol.

Yes, when youve over run the enemy, there is not much to do otherwise, But in 3, maybe 4 of the 10 or so games i had tonight, we had ebrs, t34s etc rushing our flanks at the begging of the game and sitting spawn camping. Makes me wanna quit that particular match as its so frustrating

I love when you point out mistakes. Something I've been taught from a very young age: "Learn from other people's mistakes so you don't have to make them yourself." I watch your videos to find little nuance tips that I might not figure out on my own, seeing as I'm just getting back into WT after a 5-year hiatus. And back then I played exclusively Air Arcade. Now I'm up to US 6.7 and loving it. Almost as much as US 4.7. Well, really just the chaffee. Such a good tank even at full uptiers with a 4.7 lineup.
Don't forget to remind that it can appear as a war bond. I like the learnings stuff but remember that some players may experience different ping and packet loss and makes some thing harder to do. If ping greater than 250, snap shots get real iffy, and over 350 you're in the lap of the gods.
Hi. You make a good point. My ping is always above 250 and I get killed soo often in a snap shot situation even though I physically pushed to fire button much earlier.
That kind of tutorial video is really needed. Not many people do it sadly... I have never, ever seen the one-cap in that place before on Mozdok. That wing clipping snapshot with the duck tho... what an epic moment!
I am incredibly impressed how you can just see a plane, from a kilometer away and be like "yeah, that's a cobra", meanwhile I'm here like "I think I saw a plane"

Capping the point is the easy part, its holding the point thats the hard part. Too many times I've seen the team die by overextending instead of taking a defensive position and holding.
Idk if it’s the sound design difference of wt two years ago but i loved the way the cannons of all the other tanks sounded in that first game when you took that hill, really felt like you were overlooking a big battle from a distance
I learned long ago that the most frustrating thing of any match regardless of the game was the random player. They rarely communicate except to insult and when there is communication they tunnel vision and ignore the map. Only thing I could think to help that is perhaps a better callout system via voice emotes. Maybe based on commander skill you might get a callout of "enemy armor spotted, right flank, near".
A video / series that I think would be really useful would be just pointing out how best to deal with certain tough vehicles like you do at 30:27. I know a lot of people struggle with KVs, Jumbos, Panthers, etc, and an unbiased video that actually shows you weakspots like the Panther's turret cheek, the side of an over-angled Jumbo, or the mailslot and cheeks of a KV-1, and how to take them down without being colored by any bias against certain nations/players would be utterly fantastic. A lot of what's out there to help players learn these sorts of things is fragmented and spread out across loads of videos, so I think having guides like this would help people improve! I've been considering doing my own part in this but I can't right now, since I upgraded my rig Vegas won't let me render on my GPU and it's a pain!

Mozdok...OddBawZ is right. If a team doesn't race up and take the hill, they lose. It always baffles me when there's only one other tank striving to take that vantage point and hold it.
I have seen so many teams make such a meal of that setup on Mozdok. It should be such an easy map to play. There is a brilliant terrain feature which allows you to dominate the map and bag a gazillion kills all at the same time, siting literally right in front of you! Still all of the team forms a nice lemming train towards the cap...
Mabey you could do a tutorial series of what to do and what not to in air and ground RB. Or mabey put a lesson for the day in each video if applicable.

Yes, I loved the tutorial! It's one of the best things about an OddBawz video, that while being super entertaining, he also explains what and why he's doing things more than other bigger creators. Breaking in with a tutorial to demonstrate a technique was fantastic!
This is a really good video. I hesitate to say it, but I think OddBawz has taken some of his recent feedback and somewhat changed his commentary to explain more, which I think makes the video much more interesting. Also, I have the German T34 but have NEVER seen the US/UK/Russian team behave the way they did in this video. Around the 24 minute mark a bunch of the opposition just sit in the open and do nothing. Not only that, there was nobody on the sniper hill South of B! I would NEVER drive across the East of B - because every single time I play from the Northern spawn there is ALWAYS someone on that hill who kills anyone who takes that route.
Look very carefully to odds aiming! You can learn alot! Since im watching ur videos my skills are starting to get alot better. Im not afraid anymore facing heavys or uptiered tanks. Thank you Mr. ODD! 👍

Hey Odd, as someone who is just getting into realistic battles in this game it would be amazing seeing a sort of tutorial on how realistic battles work. I've played a few now and I just can't get a great grasp on it. I've played the game for quite some time. Ive gotten to 7.0 on both US and Britain and got to the tiger on Germany. Although I don't have very many planes on the German and British side I still enjoy tanks more than planes and would love to see a video on what realistic tanks is all about. I like when you go into War Thunder dad mode as it teaches me more about the game. Keep up the great videos they are really interesting!
Hey Bawz, another top vid, really enjoyed the CAS. You mentioned it at the end and I think some "back to basics" knowledge share would be really helpful. Obviously stick to what you enjoy making but it would be great to hear/see how to avoid classic mistakes.
Odd play the Black Prince you can bounce almost everything when angled, at the right br and you can pen everything you go up against. I suggest you try it.
This is actualy one of my favourite premium T-34's. It's not the best, it's average. But it's kinda fun to play with. Very nice show. Also had a laugh when i saw my favourite "Goat Tanks" in the hills.

A word of advice with the duck, it actually has a scope! Switch to cockpit view and zoom in, you can hit targets from much longer range like that
But then I lose my peripheral vision. Not a worthwhile trade off to me! :)

Your videos are awesome overall but I really enjoy the tutorial stuff and advice on how to play the maps. Would love to see a guide on flying in general and maybe suggestions on a mouse and keyboard control setup too?
