I was born in 1990, Metallica were about to become the greatest metal band in the world and now, 31 years later I am watching my childhood idol having grown older and cannot but dread the thought of the day he's gonna stop playing and Metallica shall pass to history along with the other greats. Ever grateful to have witnessed them playing live, evolving their music even more and never afraid to go with the flow of their own mentality and psychology.
That's just how it goes, that's life. But a really cool aspect of modern life, these recordings will outlive us all. I often wonder about how many amazing musicians there were throughout unrecorded history. There will be new generations of Metallica fans in the future because of recording.
On Garage Inc. they recorded a really good acoustic cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Tuesday's Gone. I'd imagine a full album of acoustic songs would be great.

I just hope that his recovery has gone fine (you could say that he has more time to spend with his family with the pandemic and that maybe has been helping in that regard), because he looks terribly aged and a bit wasted away.
Sad story............ Today I bought a few bottles of beer and planned to have fun by turning up the old Metallica concerts at full volume. As a result, I watched several videos with James, including about his cars, and now I'm sitting here CRYING! I DO NOT KNOW WHY! I love this man so much! 😭 Damn James Hetfield, I wanted to have fun before the start of the week!!!!
