I read fourth wing and the serpent of the wings of night as well, I loved Serpent more tbh. I found the plot line and characters more entertaining and the tension was just wild in that one

I love the Monte Cristo anime, it adopts a very different animation style which I find GOOORGEOUS. However it is definitely not a faithful adaptation, it adapts the book in the most anime way possible lol

Hey Bella, since you liked the serpent and the wings of night so much I have a recommendation of a very similar book for you. It’s a trilogy called The hunt. It’s a story about a boy that lives in a world controlled by vampires where he has to pretends to be one of them. Then the day of the hunt comes and he has to kill the humans that are kept exclusively to be bait in the hunt. It’s super high stakes and dramatic. I highly recommend the read. 😊
