this as so brave i tried doing this once and quit 2 hours in. also if ur interested in trying another historical romance i highly recommend the lady’s guide to celestial mechanics (titles are only similar bc all historical romances sound like this) - it’s a lesbian romance about two female astronomers so it’s got the sciencey angle and does a good job of balancing that with the romance. the book also deals with the fact that the agency of a woman at the time is completely tied to her finances. it was also swoony!!
