The indiana jones trilogy always stood out to me as more adventure then action. Theirs handfuls of fantastic action set pieces but the movie was more Indy just trying to defy death as he found himself in some crazy situation he needs to get out of Raiders, last crusade and crystal skull. Thise movies grand finales were just indy discovering what he was looking for and we alongside indy get to watch it unfold. It wasnt indy fighting like john wick. Does that make for great gameplay? Idk. But it fits eith the source material.
FYI. Inverted comma and quotation mark are interchangeable in British English. We don't normally say either in a sentence (we normally just say it with an upward inflection/more of an emphasis on the word) but I'd say quotation marks is the more common phrase.
Oh you know what would be fun, if there was a game mechanic where you fist fight people…then when you’re in a fist fight, 4 other enemies pull out revolvers and shoot you. 😂
I mean, I am probably one of the only people that is looking forward to this game. Having said that, I am mostly just looking for a narrative heavy based Indy adventure, and the gameplay is secondary for me.
Honestly knowing it’s on gamepass ensures I won’t buy it, and I’m not a gamepass member to begin with, I just know I don’t have to pay for it, I can just sign up later and play my backlog for now , if it was only for full price I’d probably buy it out the gate if it was reviewed good
I bought a month of game pass early last week. Played through the BO6 campaign, playing through Stalker 2 now(which I'll likely end up buying on sale in a year when all of the overhaul mods come out), and will be able to try the Indy game next months. Not bad for the $12~ canadian I paid.
@@AGuyWithFaceyeah it’s a great deal I see why people are moving but it’s not for me, I know what will happen if they get a foothold on gaming , I’m hoping I can hold out long enough that I don’t or can’t play games any more, just play my geezer games in the future rather than buying a sub
The ONLY reason why I have any hope is the Wolfenstein reboot series (except Youngblood, which was a weird and terrible co-op live service game). They are phenomenal FPS's with a completely insane and awesome story
Probably the same as most singleplayer games? I hope they don't bloat it with collectathon crap like the Spiderman games or Ubisoft titles. So annoying.
Not gonna lie im always a big fan of your videos but you seem to be pretty focused on nit picking this game to death. I think it'll be fun! indy has never made a lot of sense. Those movies are all about a sense of wonder.. if this game provides that then we are in for a good one
Another Indiana Jones vid another time Luke is doing everything to trash this game. Whole "action - adventure" thing that "puts him off" - Jesus they just want to put emphasis that it's not some modern Tomb Raider with more action than adventure... Again shitting on AI when like 80% of games this kind of AI that stands still untill players does something. I have never seen Luke trashing the AI this much for any other game even in the last star wars on release where AI was even worse. So many games have this deleted response (not saying it's good but this game is trashed for it more than others). I'm not saying this game will be amazing but every criticism towards this game is turned up to 11.
this game looks like absolute trash. What are you even excited for? What gameplay have you seen that's good? All you have seen is him whipping guns out of guys hands and "pressing LB to Swing"
Its machine games. Is it any of the previous staff cuz they were excellent before being forced to make multiplayer nonsense? We are kinda approaching this with a pessimistic viewpoint, its not ubisoft.
Indiana Jones as a character only means something to late 30-somethings upwards. If you're in your 20s, Indy means less than Nothing to you, culturally - Maybe you associate him with some bad films you saw in the past decade, or some stuff your dad or uncle likes - and that's it. He's not a hot IP, he's not a meaningful gaming character, he's not Anything much to the vast majority of gamers. I'm 52, most of my work colleagues are in their mid to late 20s - several of them have no idea who Clint Eastwood is, or Laurel and Hardy, or the Marx Brothers, or any number of classic 80s films and icons like Indy - for them, self-confessed film buffs that they are (ie, they watch Netflix), Old Films pretty much runs from the late 90s onwards, whereas as a kid in the late 70s in rural Ireland, with a dizzying 4 TV channels to watch, there were a LOT of filler films and double sunday matinees to fill air space every week, so I grew up watching endless cheap stuff from the 30s, 40s, 50s etc on TV. I know for a fact that at least one of the guys I work with has never seen any Indiana Jones film. I'm not expecting anything much from this game, apart from a swift drop away.
Just a very niche game. I don't expect it to sell very well honestly.
Machine games completely NAILED Wolfenstein so I have some medium/high hopes

Exactly! Indiana Jones as always been THE Adventure Movie. It’s like he’s trashing on it for being true to the franchise.

The way the AI gangs up on you… just to wait patiently one after the next to get knocked out… 😂
That's every game ever these days? Nothing new. Been a thing since the first assassins creed game
I just don’t see what’s making it pop. Nothing is grabbing me into the game but it doesn’t look bad
Funny how it all goes back to Starfield 3:50
The perfect 7 out of 10.
Nah, it'll be an 8
Not spectacular, but pretty damn good
Watching luke 2x watching xbox 2x... Kaio ken!

Looks good to me! I’m excited to try it out. I do wish it were a third person game though.
Never noticed Todd back there. I jumped out of my skin just now.

What I really want to know is... how is the replayability of this game?
Probably the same as most singleplayer games?

pleaaaaase be a good game.

Luke went from skeptic to cynic….disappointing to see.
Why are you so focused on this game? It’s clear you have no interest. How about cover a game you are looking forward to?
Just another game from Microsoft studiov game that will be very average. But what else do you expect from Microsoft.
Cuz he wanted to.
I mean it's kind of his job. He covers gaming. This is gaming. Case closed. You are welcome.

I can't even watch a video about this game anymore. ZERO interest in a beloved franchise that's been flushed down the 🚽.

First XD
First mistake was making this a first person game where you are so hands on…
First person is fine, deal with it. Not everything has to be over the shoulder.

Hoh-hum. 😒
I think this game looks like absolute trash and my prediction is: it's going to be a disastrous flop on a concord level
Everyone In The Comments Wishing On This Games Downfall … This game will be great and sell well .
This game can't sell consoles. It can and will sell Gamepass subs
