Thermostats are on/off only and not variable, so the fact that you set it for 67F but it only reached 61F means it likely reached max. output and ran continuously all night (evident by the smooth temp. curve with only one dip around 7:40 pm when you started the test). Also, the fact that that you put the thermometer right next to the heater means that was likely the hottest part of the trailer so, for instance, the floor plus the opposite side of the space were likely significantly cooler. Probably okay for night sleeping with lots of blankets but would you be happy with a max. daytime temp inside the trailer of 61F based on an outside temp around 31F? Would like to see a max. temp setting test to confirm... P.S: A full-size 1500/750W dual output heater would never cook you in there if you put it on a low setting as it would just cycle on and off more thru out the day or night to maintain temp. yet still have enough capacity to give you all the heat you need when required... Interesting test though.
Just bought 4 of em from Temu for $10 each. I've had 2 of them running for about 10 minutes in a 36' 5th wheel. It's 59 outside and we're up from 61 to a steady 68 with two running on either end of the RV. Happy so far! We'll see how they do when it gets much colder. We were using one 1500w ceramic tower heater and one 1500w oil heater. If we can micro-heat all 3 major zones with 3 heaters running at 500w, thatll cut our heating cost in half.
Full power for a space heater is 1500 watts. Which translates to only a little over 5,000 BTUs The good news is that you can plug more than 3 in and not have to worry about throwing a circuit…. But I would rather purchase a three level fan heater that can still run at full power or limited depending on my choosing
Since your T Stat never reached set point the heater ran continuously during the timed interval. That would mean setting at 90 deg would not have made any difference. You still only would have gotten up to 61 deg regardless. The implication is you would have needed a higher wattage heater to reach set point in that particular RV camper.
No No No I just watched a video review that said DO NOT USE IN BATHROOM.. obvious moisture and fog can cause electrical damage … But I will try this for our bedroom …. Thanks !
I have them in my bedroom , hall , livingroom and kitchen , in the UK , well I live in Scotland the gas prices have went up sky high , these space heaters are the best buy ever , seasons greetings

Aiwa as well. Ollie's sold those heaters with the Aiwa name last year. Which is weird because Aiwa was known for stereo systems. Several years ago I had a great Aiwa stereo. Now Aiwa sells different kinds of products. Including coffee makers.

I received 4 of these in Nov 2023. The issue I have is the rotating plug on the unit sets it 1.5" from the wall to the weight of the unit and pulls the unit from the wall plug. I think they altered it a bit to give better air input. I am not sure what I will do with these. @@BrianWatersOutdoors
@@HandyTimthat's exactly what I did. On high room finally warms up and feet are no longer cold after a couple of hours. You have to stand directly in front of heater to use the tiny remote control which has no range.
Where is the one like this one with the remote? Test that one!!!😁 They have heaters that do 1500 and can also do less as well such as 650 or 750? That might take you to your target 67 ° faster??
I just ordered one 🤦🏽♂️ I hope all the people in the comments are just idiots. It seems like they’re trying to warm up a room, this is meant for small spaces. So I’m hoping this is going to keep my wagon camper comfortable. I don’t like heat either but i caved it was cold for me and my pet. I’ll leave a follow up 11/10/24 if I remember or get a notification
Good catch! I had to put the sysport organizer in my big garage and move back the tool chest because that was taking up too much space and I couldn’t get the camper to fit in the garage properly.
Thanks for reviewing. I guess its ok for small spaces, but the ad claims are BS saying its going to save us money over our central heating system. It will, but my nuts are going to freeze! On a safety note, I'd only run this, including while I'm sleeping, with a reliable smoke detector close by it.
@@BrianWatersOutdoors So 50 sq ft. That would need 2000 BTU's. A 350w heater only produces 1200 BTU's. 2000 BTU's requires 586w You can bullshit people, but you can't bullshit Physics.
I have a 5x10 homebuilt (6’ ceiling)camper and a 1500 watt heater kept it at 70f when it was -10f out. A 1500 watt heater would cook him out of his teardrop.
Calculate the Heat Loss from the room you are using, then size your Heater to match your heat loss. Example if you live in Zone 3 ( Moderate) then you need 40 to 45 Btus per square foot to heat your place. That heater is not going to do it.
I bought two of these and I thought it would help my electricity no it has not so I'm selling them cuz I don't want my electric to be higher than it was so it's a waste of money don't buy them

That seems like a good Idea for distribution of heat.
Yes I run 2 in my caravan, we turn them off at night and in 2 hours each morning the van is nice and toasty
The Festool is strong in you........Best of luck from here in Ireland.

I have 3 of these , I use them in my living room I like them.

I saw another review and it was called "the Russell Hobbs" ceramic heater. Wonder if this is being sold under a number of names?
Highly likely

The weight of the heater pulls it out and away from the electric outlet.
I’ve heard that complaint, but so far mine has been staying plugged in tightly against the outlet

It’s a nice option for a SMALL space. This was never meant to be used for a large room. Some people that think that are just not “all there”.
👋 Hi. So How is the heater working for you so far?
I wonder if it's possible to measure the actual number of watts used?
It would be, could simply plug it into a kill-a-watt meter
330 is what others tested it at even though they say 500
Another said about 318w when heating element is on but hardly any when cooling.
They all suck I tried 3 of them and they don’t work they constantly shut off and don’t stay on long enough to warm anything
I see you have your rolling tool box behind you. Where have you put the big systainer sysport you built?
Good catch! I had to put the sysport organizer in my big garage and move back the tool chest because that was taking up too much space and I couldn’t get the camper to fit in the garage properly.

So the camper was in the garage, how cold did it get in the garage? The screenshot looks like outside temp from an iphone.
what size camper do you have ?
A small 5x10

500w diesel heater or just an electric blanket 35w.
I’d be happy to try out an electric blanket that only uses 35 watts. Link??
You want warmth? Get a Mr. Heater. Real heat! 😮
Got one 👍🏻
Campers are not that well insulated. Usually a 1500 watt heater will barely heat a camper if it’s freezing outside.
👍🏻
1500 watts is a room heater perhaps 120 sq ft. for near freezing temps.
I have a 5x10 homebuilt (6’ ceiling)camper and a 1500 watt heater kept it at 70f when it was -10f out. A 1500 watt heater would cook him out of his teardrop.
Can I use with extension chord?
Did you run that on deep cycle batteries?
No. Direct electricity plugged into my camper
Oh ok thank you

Example if you live in Zone 3 ( Moderate) then you need 40 to 45 Btus per square foot to heat your place.
That heater is not going to do it.
350 watts would not heat my closet.
👍🏻
So I guess it doesn't work :(
That's a real shame because I'm looking for something that's tiny that can fit into my feraday box in the back ground.
You can get better results by using a 1500w hair dryer 😂
👍🏻
Too many scammers on amazon.

Buy two of them. Florida, we don't need it.
