A few tips for you:
1. Wait until dusk or dawn to attract creatures. I believe it helps get rarer ones more often.
2. GET THE CHRYSANTHEMUM. It is a perfect counter to the strata of putting all your bugs next to your queen. It paralizes the bugs and allows you to go in and get the kill before they can kill you.
3. Fuse a bunch of your praying manti and tarantulas, they're not that good and fusing will help make them better. Plus it gives some more space for rarer bugs, like the bombardier beetle.
Ants wont attack the queen if theres creatures alive.

I am more pro than he. i have 3 star hornet and two 2 star hornets, i am 1641 rank silver, i have 132 pheromones pink and i have Venus fly trap.
Pro tip: Baron did you know that you can get more honeydew each run you make by upgrading the honeydew collection amount

Pro tip: Barron, you got to also go on Honeydew runs since honeydew is very important since you can use it to upgrade soldier resilience, worker speed, soldier speed, soldier requirement size (from 12 to 15), and other upgrades. Honeydew is very easy to get and if you upgrade the honeydew bonus (costs 45 honeydew), you can greatly increase the amount of honeydew you get after each run from 1x to 2x to 3x and so on.
Pro: Tip Hello Baron, in the honey shop - you should buy chrysanthemum because it allows you to stun bugs for a few seconds in battles and while attacking fire ant nest. It only costs 15 honeydew, is very useful and had helped me win many battles. When players have all their bugs protecting the queen just use it and all their bugs will be stunned for you to attack easily.

Pro tip: get the lavender and crystasya from the shop. They are border line op and they only require a little bit of honey dew to get them.
like the shop says you can use the lavander to keep enemy bugs and ants from attacking you so you can get behind or flank the enemy, plus it allows you to get close to enemy bugs so you can make your army attack them easier. For the crystansia it paralizes enemy bugs so while the enemy bugs are paralized you can attack them and get a couple free bug kills.

Strawberry - The strawberry was inplemented when the halloween event was on. Not now.
Getting that orange ant skin that you cant buy - To get it,youll have to defeat the Fire Ant queen. Which is practically almost not possible.
Tips
Resin gathering - Resin is a valuble source, If you want millions of it,Keep killing termites or gather resin maybe both! Its good to stay alive,if your dead. Turn everyone off. Keep staying above your workers group thats gathering the resin.
Honeydew gathering - Well its pretty simple,first gather a solider army to defeat the Fire Ants. After, stay in the middle of your worker convoy. You can move it. But dont think itll stay like that! When you get better,the more theres Fire Ants at the honeydew site. Its a good strat to help with the garrison.
Getting scorpion - Its pretty hard,i have only 1 scorpion. You can get it only at night, I once got a bombadier in my daily spawn!
Getting bombadier - To get bombadier,youll have to summon at Day. If you didnt read the scorpion summoning, then i got my first bombadier in my daily spawn!
The current secret creatures are the dwagon flee and the hornet which looks sick that we know

Leave atleast three bugs then when your inside the queens chamber and there a ton of bug on guard try to spawn the three back up bug you have inside the queen's chamber so they are the one who will be target by those bugs

baron you need to upgrade your pheromones to have a better chance at better bugs.
you cant do that until you get a higher rank... need to be gold rank for gold pheromones and plat rank for platinum pheromones...

Baron you have to buy The Sims fly trap with what's prison and you get it and it's in front of your base and it'll eat people's bugs are trying to attack you
Try to get that pink flower from the honeydew shop it can help you to stun the big bugs. It's very useful when your enemy stacking all his bugs in the queen room

You use honey from the aphids to buy the pink or purple flower.
Pink flower stuns the bugs. (Bugs only no Venus fly trap or ant stun)
Purple flower makes you invincible. (The bugs and the ants won’t attack you)

You should put ur whole army on the outside so it forces the enemy to put in the big bugs then the big bugs get eaten!
Next big upgrade should be the queen's chamber. Its 7500 resin, but you get level 5 soldiers

get the pink flower it will stun the bugs so you can get a few kills quickly
Spawn bugs at night and try to get a scorpion or rhino and when u get a bombardier put at the top so it can kill all the ants and protect the flytrap
Actully... if u put most defences at the top and they can't bring out any big bugs cuz f the Flytrap, then you'll destroy all of their soldiers
