Definitely one of the better ones I've listened to. Cleaning my house and I find myself dancing like a teenager practicing for going to goth night just to dance in the corner with my head down all insecure. But when no one's looking I'm a professional music video dancer from the 80's. Don't even pretend you don't identify with this. 👻🧚

@@colddaze6680 I ordered three of their records on vinyl with the color splatter limited presses. I love rarer vinyl and I can't recommend them enough to people. They sound great and come from the band not some major label. Great work. Saw them in Miami and got the other two albums on CD. Met them. Wonderful people and great music. Boy Harsher is one of those groups that deserves everything good coming to them but the masses who don't know them yet, don't deserve Boy Harsher. lol jk I just wish they got the recognition they deserve. One of my favorite new bands!!!

This playlist is absolutely fantastic. I adore this genre of music but tend to get stuck listening to older bands, not knowing where to begin with contemporary artists-- so excited to dig deep into the discographies of these new-to-me artists! Thanks for putting this out there! Really made my day better.

I have the opposite problem! Can you recommend some older music? I’ve only found Bauhaus, The Cure, and Sioxsie and the Banshees so far.

I could go on for hours, but if you search for these bands, then TH-cams algorithm of old 70´s to 90´s "synth/wave/Gothic/electronic" will open for you. Happy hunting :-)

Not, New Romantic were bands formed in the beginings of the 80s, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Adam Ant. This kind of Music was knew as Gothic music or Dark wave.
At most the similarities are from the production stage, but other than that, it really doesn't resemble either New Romantic or Italo Disco. Entirely different ethos.
