I think Intelleon should be mentioned. I mean both his Vmax cards were really good and his shady dealings card makes him one of the best draw engines of all time. Even the quick shooting Intelleon is a good card, too. Idk, but it is like every card of Intelleon was insane.
I just got back into playing the TCG, I remember loving playing this card and building around it. Genesect was already one of my favorite Pokémon. I was no way a hyper-comp player but it was always fun to use it.

Ampharos and Sylveon are my favorites but I’m not sure if the few playable cards they have outweigh the countless bulk cards lol. Btw, I love the addition of the soundtrack indicator on screen. Listening to Exodia right now lol.
Man this is amazing i havent seen much videos like this they are just very fun to watch. I got some world champions pack 2022. The cards were signedby somebody named André Cihao or something(im pretty sure you mentioned him) like that i got -4×Mew V -3×Mew Vmax -4×Genesect V -2×Meloetta -1×Pumpkaboo All of them are fusion strike except Pumkaboo and the trainers that i also got alot. :) (:
Hmm, I wonder which deck won worlds last year… I wonder. Lol. Imo the only Pokemon which gives Genesect a run for its money is Sableye. Seriously, there was the flash-in-the-pan Guardians Rising Sableye, fringe Sableye V and Mega Sableye & Tyranitar GX, the strong Junk Hunt Sableye, the currently dominating Lost Mine Sableye, and the most broken card of all time, Stormfront Sableye. But while Sableye has had more relevant cards and higher highs, it’s also had SOOO MANY garbage bulk prints
Great video. I think the biggest deterrent for genesect's case is since it depends heavily on its 2 crazy good cards, it pales in comparison to sableye. Genesects 2 cards are some of the best in the game, dont get me wrong, but they arent even close to either of sableye's 2 absolutely BROKEN cards.

Love the video and the idea! Here's a few I can think of Dragonite: lots of good cards over the years and a variety of different ways it's played. Electrode: not as much recently, but some pretty stellar sacrifice for energy in the early years. Golbat/Crobat: interesting ways to drop damage. Empoleon: iirc DP empoleon and diving draw empoleon were good Lugia: main part of LBS, Team Plasma, and then another solid EX. Oh and the new dominant V Star Archeops: I know it only has like two good cards, but one of them got banned Shaymin: two good EX cards, and a solid HGSS era card Jirachi: lots of good ways to search useful cards Dusknoir: Lv X, DP Dusknoir and Boundaries Crossed dusknoir all solid Absol: Plasma Absol, Absol ex, Roaring Skies Absol iirc had decent success Metagross: Delta Metagross, Metagross GX, Hidden legends Magnezone: Prime, Lv X and Storefront defiantly had success Flygon: several creative ways it's played over the years Donphan: Prime, Plasma Freeze are the two that come to mind immediately Vileplume: Dark Vileplume, Undaunted Vileplume, Ancient Origins Vileplume were all irritating item lock pokemon I guess I got a little carried away there...
I would say oranguru is the best pokemon on a card. Besides the oranguru V i think all the cards were very good and played a lot, one being even banned.
I feel like "bulk" cards aren't a mark against a pokemon in the same way as "this card is meant to be good and just isn't" is - something like Drapion VSTAR or SCV Dondozo ranks lower than a random bulk rare in my book
I think a good guideline for what cards even *can* be bad is "has this Pokemon been mentioned by name in promotional material" - Build and Battle Boxes, set descriptions, Trainer's Guides, etc. For example, Radiant Steelix is worse than EVS Galarian Moltres but the random Steelix from Battle Styles isn't even much of a footnote.
Mew definitely has a case for being the best pokemon in the TCG. Well over half of its printings have seen competitive play and it has been the star player in (at least) 2 worlds winning decks (2006 and 2019).
