doesn’t look like there’s a fee in the contract if it’s being brought to arbitration, most likely it will be a reasonable offer between 5-10 million if it ends up getting there.
Arbitration is between employee and employer. Man U have nothing to do it, and the legal process isn’t going to go as smooth as Ashworth wants, especially if Newcastle’s lawyers just keep pushing the arbitration date back further and further.

Newcastle reportedly paid Brighton £2 million when they got him. 2 years later, Manchester United want him and have offered the same amount. It isn;t that difficulty to understand. It's all clearly explained in a recent Athletic article. At the end of the day, United won't get him for that, it will be in the region of $4-5 million which is double what Netcastle paid. They wont buy him for 10 times the amount.

We had our worst season ever. Ragnick famously said we need open hearted surgery. Then a good manager came in, instantly turned us around, players form and attitude turnaround and we looked brilliant.
Then this season the players attitude switched back, injuries happened and we’re back to square 1.
So why change manager, have a promising season and then head back to square 1 again? Time to to focus on getting everything around the manager in place, and ETH will prove he’s always been the right man.

Sometimes there are cases where a manager has no impact, but then comes to another club in the same league & has more luck.
Emre at Villa is a classic example.
Every big team of the past 10 years have let the manager coach the players like when klopp came in he wanted draxler and the sporting director said no your getting salah and look at that. Anthony only cost 80 million because the people above ten hag couldn’t make their mind up and buy him for 35 they let Ajax know United wanted him and they put the price through the roof.

Most important thing to say about United is that if the new structure doesn't have ctlear plan and direction, and doesn't get rid of at least half the squad, the next manager is destined to fail regardless.
Now as far as Tuchel goes, he's a decent cup manager. But beyond that, not much else. His history of falling out with upper management (though not all those falling out were his fault) is a red flag. Don't want toys being thrown out the pram, if he isn't as involved in transfers as he'd, for example.
If Tuchel's style is how INEOS see United playing in the long term future, I'd say they're better off finding alternative managers who set up similarly.

Tuchel proven winner? EtH proven winner, Mourinho proven winner, LvG proven winner. Where is the logic here? Tuchel has won in the past sure but arguably, his only real achievement is with Chelsea winning the UCL. DFB Pokal with Dortmund was decent, anything except the UCL with PSG is expected and if you look at this Bayern Munich squad, you would expect him not to lose the Bundesliga to Leverkusen. Tuchel is a good coach but he is not significantly better than EtH, if at all. Besides, nobody can get a a better tune out of this disjointed squad, maybe Pep or Klopp but not enough to win anything with these mercenaries.

Just give Ten Hag another season! No one sees that always changing the manager might be the problem? Ten Hag a good first season, bad this but with a lot of injuries. Give him a 3rd season, where under the new set up he can get rid of players failing him & add a few new ones. Tüchel wouldn't have the same tools to work with at United and secondly, he is erratic in the league - always has been, look at how he almost fumbled the league last season, or how inconsistent his chelsea side or more pertinently, how his PSG side never won an away game vs the top 5 in the league.

I think Ten hag is still very good coach, still think he is better coach coach than Tuchel. The problem is United player fail to execute the tactic because of poor physical condition and lack of the ability to keep the ball. Even if pep or klopp manage this team they wont be better than Ten hag.
Ragnick who is maybe the best DOF said that United player doesnt have physicality to play in EPL. Ole and Mourinho said that there are many bad culture and disciplinary problem in dressing room. So all the evidence point out that the biggest problem is the player not the coach.

Guy's been managing since 2007, he got lucky with one UCL title. Outside that he's not won much of note & falls out with people at every club. He's ended Bayern's title-winning 12 year run, only thanks to Dortmund messing it up on the final day that he didn't do it two years running too. I don't want him at United, the task is monumental to turn them round & Tuchel hasn't exactly set the world alight at far easier jobs.

Bruh what waffle is this. Tuchel has been to 2 ucl finals, and is now in a SF. What he did with his 1-year at Chelsea, having Lukaku as his only signing, the inner turmoil that was happening at the time and still getting them 3rd and every domestic cup final was a miracle. That Bayern team has been waning over time, just look at how many points they ended with since 2018, it's been steadily decreasing. He dragged that Bayern team to a league title last year since he only took over mid season since Nagelsmann got sacked. I'm not looking for him to do a monumental turn around overnight. We just need to buy quality players and let him coach. Stop over- complicating things.
