    Thank you so very much for your excellent tutorial on using the Clear Blue Tiles. I watched several Kimberbell videos, but your instructions are so much better, that I actually understand how to place the tiles and set up my embroidery machine.

    White chalk pencil works great on dark fabric

      @@creatingwithcassie this is a great video and I will use this method for sure next time. I made my table runner before I knew about CBT. And have sewn it together and quilted the main block. What I have left is the sashing and border. Is there a way to do this by bypassing the two tact down stitches and going directly to the design?????

    • @creatingwithcassie
      @creatingwithcassie  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jackiecorrado5884 If you can line it up correctly you could skip the steps on your machine and just do the design. The tack-down lines is also larger stitches and easier to pull out. Most often, when I Clear Blue tile something, I include the sashing and borders in the all-over design and don't do them separately. That might be something else you could consider as well.

    You did a really good job explaining how to use these tiles. However, for demonstration purposes, I wish you had used a fabric that would have shown the pen marks and thread as it embroidered. Otherwise, I am anxious to try these tiles now. Thank you.

      I know. I'll have to make a new one with lighter fabric one day when I have a chance.

    You may find that a non-slip hooping mat is useful to keep the hoop from shifting around while you place the fabric/batting/stabilizer or whatever. I find that only having to concern myself with placing the fabric and stabilizer or “sandwich in the hoop, and not having to be wrestle with the hoop sliding around on my table makes for a much less frustrating experience.

    I made a big mistake I used a permanent pen instead of my erasable pen it was a Christmas Tree Wall hanging I had to make a new one I will never do that again
