Jerry Bijo Assess the patient first and prioritize the needs , and you can do the immediate care and then hand over to the next staff,make sure patient is comfortable for the moment and introduce the next shift staff to the patient . The key point is patient should be attended by a nurse and should not be left alone for long time . Make sure you do the high priority tasks and handover rest to the next nurse .
