I have a lot of lady bugs on my avocado tree, they are doing a great job of pollination. So far I have 2 very tiny green avocados that I can see. I don't know if I have an A or B. I grew this from seed over 10 years ago. This is the first time it's ever bloomed. It's about 10 feet tall with lots of branches. I am hoping for the best😊
I boost my avocado production by using a soft make up brush. I use it to gather pollen in the morning, and keep my brush in a ziploc in the fridge. In the late afternoon when the other flowers open, I go out with my brush and touch all those flowers with the brush, but I only have one tree.
This year I only had one avocado on my Hass Avocado tree. I watched one video, where this young man uses a soft makeup brush. He brushes the open flowers in the morning & evening to pollinate the flowers for more fruit. And one young man uses honey water to attract bees to help pollinate the flowers. What do you think of those ideas, do they work?????????

Spray foliar fertilizer with boron trace elements or top dress with Nitrabor which also contain boron or get Botrax

So a bacon avocado tree being a B type of tree will need another tree? The video made it seem the A type will do it alone
