Sometimes I have the feeling that people forget how good Glutonny is He has a winning record against Leo throughout 2022, won the last 3 matches against tweek and has an even h2h against Sparg0 (if you don't count the bo3 g4 invitational) An insane player held back by his bracket demons (tea, shuton, Sonix and Riddles)
Riddles, Sonix, Tea and Shuton man are definitely the biggest problems. Apparently he's not losing to maister that much now, and for Dabuz it looks okay now for him

Regarding to sonix Glutonny seems to get closer and closer in the matchup. Glutonny could have won their last sets. At LMBM Glutonny unfortunately missed a clutch waft in game 2 and at genesis he threw away game 1 by choosing wolf. But Glutonny against riddles, Tea and Shuton looks kinda hopeless I will definitely edit the comment and replace dabuz with Riddles
My two favorite players, I was so sad to see them face off but it’s bittersweet since I wanted both players to advance further but it was a great set. Personally wouldn’t mind the seph being put in the back, he’s not my favorite but damn do I respect the commitment and passion for him.

It's a shame cuz I really want to see someone use Sephiroth in an unstoppable fashion but I think the game developers thought that Sephiroth would be too powerful so they instead nerfed him too much, now hes trash compared to others.
I hate when people criticize top players as observers, but i definitely think diddy was the move after game one. However i will say, if i made that comeback last stock of game one, most people (me included) would probably think they didnt need to switch.

@@JB-fd8jy I'm not saying it was the only problem, but Tweek is really good at landing well placed counters. It kills really early, and makes your opponent more scared to mash on you. It's a very important tool in his kit.

Tweek's trying to have more faith in his secondary. I respect it but it didn't work out here. Sephiroth is a very stressful character to play, you have to mix your options up really well to make him work and there's very little safe stuff you can just do. Gluttony has one of the best neutral in the entire game and he abused Sephs weaknesses and Tweek wasn't able to adapt this set
@Lala Lala , Tweek just got outplayed here. Sephiroth has a high skill ceiling yes, but at high level he's already proven worthy. Plenty of good results out there.

Tweek is a fantastic player even if a bit inconsistent. I find it a bit annoying how a couple of recent great tournaments convinced so many people that he will become or has already become number 1 in the world, but that's no reason to go to the opposite extreme and claim that he's bad. I think he's gonna remain a top 10 and occasional top 5 player in the world until he retires from competitive smash.

Wario isn't bad for Sephiroth. It's an even match up imo. Gluto just played really well. Even when Tweek went all Diddy against Gluto last year, he has a losing record against him. Fox is indeed a bad match-up for Sephiroth so I agree there. That said he beat Light's Fox 3-1 with Sephiroth not long ago so it's not impossible.

How long he keeps or when he gets wing is determined by disadvantage in stocks and/or percent. I think it works as intended.
