Something that you didn't mention in this video is that Blood Bandar received a semi buff in Dom 6. With the Cave layer it has increased the chances of you find native indie-mages that have blood path. As someone who loves Blood Bandar I have to say that finding 1-2 provinces of bats with blood magic is amazing and really helps kick start the blood economy. That being said, there are also the games were I can't get anything but Cavemen indies and that just sucks.
I mentioned this in my video on Breaking into Blood so I didn’t want to go over it again and rather just focus on what makes Bandar different from generic non-blood nations.
Tiger riders are grabbed for the tiger not the tiger rider. However generally having the extra attack from a rider is great. Claws and bite with some strength and some hp is an intense amount of damage, things like quickness or hard skin make them difficult to deal with if you want to go for a hell bless. Which can be remedied with a number of thrones and globals.
@@CairnEnjoyer I disagree. Tiger riders were pretty good in dom5 too. I expanded very well with them and won my first war with them (against a top level player) I think your problem is that you are using way too light blesses on Bander Log. Bander log is best played as a heavy bless nation (I prefer a heavy imprisoned rainbow bless) Sure, they are better in many ways Dom6, but the low MR on the tigers are a major problem in the late middle game and the late game. The same is true for all your non-sacred troops, so you should shift to sacred only troops in the late middle game.
I understand that you like blood magic, but it would be nice to feature non-blood pretender builds too. Maybe expander or something, since you mentioned weak early game.
I just feel that Blood is so useful for you that it’s worth sacrificing the early game a bit for it. Fountain of Blood can be good defensively and an Awake Ghost King can expand and act as an early game thug + army support. For a truly meme-tier option that is also useful for you, the Elephant Idol can give you massive offence and defence support early-mid game. For a true monster, I like the Man Eater Manticore as it still leaves Blood as an option while also being powerful as an early game expander.
You don't NEED an awake expander, you can use small squads of tiger riders to expand led by a brahmin with not much bless. But if you want an expander go with white bull with larger bless or golden lion, the golden lion doesn't need a bless and you could just take some scales if you wanted with it or take it with fire shield/regen or recuperation
1:02:23 Shortbows are useless against heavily armored Ulm troops (unless you have flaming arrows). Your shortbows most likely did more damage to your own troops than they did to Ulm's troops. Bandar archers are much better when you face heavily armored opponents.
@@MazuiLakon I don't see H4 as useful enough to justify not only the 55 pearl cost, but the level 9 research time for it. Holy can be boosted by communions anyway and Rudra is also level 9, the same cost, and one of the best super combatants in the game.
stick and stones is terrible..it hits friendly as often as it hits enemies plus they stop to throw the rocks and that messes up lines and allows the eney to flank your non rock throwers. I love the Bander archer as a melee unit with 1 round of high range dmg. Elephants got a buff in dom6 with Beast fury/Ferocity easy improvements for their moral issues. Its a crime to do a bandar bless without air shield since many of your sacreds and it protects not only from enemy fire but also friendly fire. Plus you need air for diakinis. I like Rightous Fury for a bless as it lets you benefit from your cheapo Aspara dying. With dom6 buff to aoe magic Yakshini are better than Yakasha for falling frost and bone mettler spam. Nagini's are seducers in their human form. They exists to yoink mages and free gems/items from thrones or the enemy. Dom6 has many low level +beauty items that make this faily reliable.
With how prevalent barb indies have been through all ages I would disagree. No matter which age ur in they're almost always low prot. I've had map nukes with entire cap circle aside from 1 province was barbs. Sometimes it's good to swap up your starting army if you can mass something. Sticks and stones might not do a lot. However it's blunt and tons upon tons are bound to hit heads, barbs still take quite a lot of damage. And like he said they have high defense so they're essentially good for tanking things. Something to keep in mind is the vanara Chakram have been proven to be quite accurate for their low damage and are disciplined unlkke the lil monkeys.
I don't think you're taking enough advantage of the tiger riders or the recruit in any fort white ones. With a good bless those are often all I end up recruiting. I will eventually attempt to fort every province that's not in my cap circle for more mages and white ones. There's no way to play them as a normal scales nation with monke troops. It has to be about mages sacreds and summons.
It’s just such a huge investment for sacreds that are just ok, and you take too much of an economic hit building forts everywhere.

@@CairnEnjoyer It ups your economy with administration bonus and you make a bless that makes the all sacred army worth it try it. Maybe a player could defend against low MR monkeys but the ai is a goner.
Nothing personal, but I couldn't stand the gimmick music for more than about 5 minutes so I didn't watch past 10 min or so. Definitely funny but very distracting for a 2 hour video.
monkey type beat enjoyer respect brotha
Background music goes hard
Fr ngl it slaps
15:05 Blood bond will NOT activate blood surge as blod surge is activated by killing enemies not by taking damage.
Just make sure you don't put serpents and Garudas in the same place. They really don't like each other (there's an event where Garudas kill snakes).
Cmon man this is your third video this week where you make monkey sounds for an hour
To play monke, you have to become monke

This is so deep, that i thought 2 or 3 times that video must be ending soon, what else there is to say? But it is half or even more. Damn
Yea I ended up talking a lot but I find there is a segment of people on YT who like long form videos
@@CairnEnjoyer yea, i like it that way too

Tigers used to be worse in dom5 so this is one reason I use them much more in dom6

Devala autocasts that mass quickness spell
Issue is Devala is a huge cost sink for something you can just have a guru with a gem cast.

Most of the time its a kick but its something
