I was heavily leaning toward Mr. Bern having just hit her after the first two testimonies. However after she took the stand, started out with "This all began with a HOA dispute." and then went into the hysterics and exaggeration she lost all credibility with me. Still I don't feel that she really could have been a threat to Mr. Bern with the doctor standing between the two of them.

The doctor said that she stood up, that she moved towards him but that she didn't raise her hands and he hit her twice. That sounds pretty conclusive to me. It sounds like she called his girlfriend a bitch and he hit her twice. That seems like assault.
So...how did he hit her with a 210lb man in the way? He somehow hit her in the face with his right, then somehow got her with his left immediately while holding a bottle and the doc stood there facing her and did what, he bent down to let it happen? Burns is shorter and she is shorter so...did Burn's elbows double joint? Why would Doc be facing her the whole time and never turn to face Burns if she wasnt the instigator and the threat? If she was calm and cool as claimed why did Doc feel the need to restrain her? She admitted she stood up first. Why? Calm cool people dont jump up at a mild insult, especially after returning the insult and inexplicably focusing it at the girlfriend who hadnt even said anything to her? But the doc had to restrain her? Then he conveniently didnt see anything but fists of fury flying over his left and right shoulders at odd angles like Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four? Oh, and dont forget...Burns had bites and marks all over him but despite claiming to have been punched in the face closed fist by a man Amber Heard there had no black eye or swelling or anything? Who is she, Kathy Long? Is she a champion kickboxer who can take a punch from a dude without effect? (Pretty sure even Kathy Long would get a black eye from a dude closed fist lu ching her). Wow. I 100% believe she was punched and he hit her because she approached him. I think she may be fabricating what she said cause it made her look bad cause she just called the wife a bitch but I believe everything else she said, he called the cops because he knew she would contact police and he wanted to get in contact first so he could control the narrative. The lawyer was going on about the bottle not breaking throughout the confrontation but it didn’t break either way and he said she smacked it out of his hand which means it would have hit the ground with force so smacking it on her arm wouldn’t break it either. He did say he called the police so he could get his side out cause of her job lol. I don’t believe him, btw that head bite wasn’t even visible in the picture lol. She might be saying the situation in a different way to not seem so like rude or petty but I believe he hit her, she seemed genuinely upset about it, he had some frustrated and angry expressions when being spoken about and I think he is an angry person.

The defense attorney should’ve focused in on the doctors initial testimony. He testified that they all stayed in the house for an hour discussing what took place without calling police but she contacted the police the next day. He could’ve implied that they were corroborating each others stories.
Don't forget the Dr. Only said she had a couple marks. The woman is the only person talking about blood coming from her husband. This is an oddity. The defense attorney could have dove into this since it makes testimony suspect.
Why is everyone so shocked that “professionals” such as, doctors, lawyers and tv reporters act just like everyone else in neighborhoods and relationships on Earth do? What a person does for work or the amount of money they make or the college they went to doesn’t make them a nice, drama free, sane person more than someone who may make less money or are unemployed or didn’t go to college. They have the same neighbor, friends and work drama as everyone has.
My first impressions of Ebny is the southern white woman strategy, and I was unmoved by her tears. I do believe she was a victim however, I'm just unsure how much is theater vs truth. I believe the Dr and the attorney witnesses. I think everyone else lied to some degree.
If Mr Bern punched her in the face she would have been seriously bruised and the police would definitely have arrested him. He says she rushed towards him(corroborated by the doctor) and he pushed her. That seems more likely without any facial injuries and the police obviously agreed or he would have been arrested. You know the police won't tolerate a man punching a woman even if she hits him first. So please use your common sense a little before passing judgement on this man. They're both horrible couples by the way.

Also, I think the description of her moving towards his quickly is another fact that should have been discussed in more depth. The average stride is about 2.6 feet. If they were truely 5 feet apart, one step closer would close the distance. Plus, people tend to measure distance (visually)from head or torso. If she's sitting, she appears to be 1 +/- foot farther away. Simply standing up has the appearance of 'closing the distance". So standing up plus one step forward, she's closed approximately 3 or more feet of the estimated 5feet. Now consider what is a comfortable distance to stand from someone. 2 feet feels close to some people. 2 feet is usually (but not always) less than arms length.
God I Haaaaaaate this female lawyer the longer this case goes on…. She needs to sit in jail for contempt or something to get an attitude adjustment !!!

Attorney McLaws could use some extra training on litigation. She's unprepared (doesn't have transcripts ready), completely ineffective at cross, lacks understanding of important rules of evidence (other acts, impeachment, "opening the door"), and argues with the judge to the point of insulting him in the middle of the hearing when he is giving her valuable information on where he is leaning. I don't know if its a lack of experience or what but she should consider some CLE's or mentoring.

I think they’re both editing the story pretty heavily, but his case has a lot of contradictory arguments. They make a big point about how the bottle didn’t break bc he didn’t hit her with it, but then they say she slapped it out of his hand, which also didn’t break it. They ask if Wang’s nose had any bruises the next day when they spoke to the cops, but when he’s showing his bruised arm he’s like “bruises don’t show up over night!” They make a point that she spoke to the cops and they didn’t go arrest him, but they also spoke to him and didn’t go arrest her either.

Maybe you're being ironic? Defense attorneys don't passionately advocate for the truth, that's not their job. They competently advocate for their client. If a technicality can win the case. that's what the attorney will use.
This woman's not experiencing real emotions of a traumatic experience. No tears, but she has (in her own mind) mastered the tearful voice whilst speaking. This means that she has done this for a lifetime. She has zero credibility. Any normal person would have moved on past this long ago. The doctor said that she stood up, that she moved towards him but that she didn't raise her hands and he hit her twice. That sounds pretty conclusive to me. It sounds like she called his girlfriend a bitch and he hit her twice. That seems like assault.
So...how did he hit her with a 210lb man in the way? He somehow hit her in the face with his right, then somehow got her with his left immediately while holding a bottle and the doc stood there facing her and did what, he bent down to let it happen? I 100% believe she was punched and he hit her because she approached him. I think she may be fabricating what she said cause it made her look bad cause she just called the wife a bitch but I believe everything else she said, he called the cops because he knew she would contact police and he wanted to get in contact first so he could control the narrative. The lawyer was going on about the bottle not breaking throughout the confrontation but it didn’t break either way and he said she smacked it out of his hand which means it would have hit the ground with force so smacking it on her arm wouldn’t break it either. He did say he called the police so he could get his side out cause of her job lol. I don’t believe him, btw that head bite wasn’t even visible in the picture lol. The defense attorney should’ve focused in on the doctors initial testimony. He testified that they all stayed in the house for an hour discussing what took place without calling police but she contacted the police the next day. He could’ve implied that they were corroborating each others stories.
Don't forget the Dr. Only said she had a couple marks. The woman is the only person talking about blood coming from her husband. This is an oddity. The defense attorney could have dove into this since it makes testimony suspect.

As annoying as Ms Ebny is and manipulative, I do feel Mr Bern made a first blow followed by a second and is guilty in my opinion.
My first impressions of Ebny is the southern white woman strategy, and I was unmoved by her tears. I do believe she was a victim however, I'm just unsure how much is theater vs truth. I believe the Dr and the attorney witnesses. I think everyone else lied to some degree.
If Mr Bern punched her in the face she would have been seriously bruised and the police would definitely have arrested him. He says she rushed towards him(corroborated by the doctor) and he pushed her. That seems more likely without any facial injuries and the police obviously agreed or he would have been arrested. You know the police won't tolerate a man punching a woman even if she hits him first. So please use your common sense a little before passing judgement on this man. They're both horrible couples by the way.

Also, I think the description of her moving towards his quickly is another fact that should have been discussed in more depth. The average stride is about 2.6 feet. If they were truely 5 feet apart, one step closer would close the distance. Plus, people tend to measure distance (visually)from head or torso. If she's sitting, she appears to be 1 +/- foot farther away. Simply standing up has the appearance of 'closing the distance". So standing up plus one step forward, she's closed approximately 3 or more feet of the estimated 5feet. Now consider what is a comfortable distance to stand from someone. 2 feet feels close to some people. 2 feet is usually (but not always) less than arms length.

Attorney McLaws could use some extra training on litigation. She's unprepared (doesn't have transcripts ready), completely ineffective at cross, lacks understanding of important rules of evidence (other acts, impeachment, "opening the door"), and argues with the judge to the point of insulting him in the middle of the hearing when he is giving her valuable information on where he is leaning. I don't know if its a lack of experience or what but she should consider some CLE's or mentoring.

I think they’re both editing the story pretty heavily, but his case has a lot of contradictory arguments. They make a big point about how the bottle didn’t break bc he didn’t hit her with it, but then they say she slapped it out of his hand, which also didn’t break it. They ask if Wang’s nose had any bruises the next day when they spoke to the cops, but when he’s showing his bruised arm he’s like “bruises don’t show up over night!” They make a point that she spoke to the cops and they didn’t go arrest him, but they also spoke to him and didn’t go arrest her either.
