      No I think that was a dodge "to be in compliant with the IRS like we all want to", I guess he thought oh well the lawyer might not want my money now because it has to go through the IRS and the judge ain't going to want to sanction me because it has to go through the IRS, didn't work though did it... What gave it away was when he said he had a W-4 form and he's going to put the Mr Powers name on it... Legally can't put somebody else's name on the tax form. A w4 form is for income tax withholding... Can only put your own name on that... Exception spouse filing jointly.... Which is why it was marked irrelevant.

      The Michigan judge Lynette Bryant is awesome at these, there is another man I can’t remember his name but he was fantastic as well. I’ve seen him hold more of them in content and jailed than any of them though.

    I love how she calmly writes “exhibit number 2 is a contempt hearing notice” as if she sees this everyday and it is completely normal. Nothing phases this judge, and it is great.

      This is the first Sovcit I’ve seen in her court. But Judge Livingston retires this year 😞 and they are building new courthouse so these Travis County courts will unlikely be streamed after Feb/Mar 2023 😢

      I cant believe I noticed this detail, but at 43:40 when the lawyer says "he has presented gobbledeegook legalistic arguments which have no merit," the SovCit guy mutters something under his breath which looks to me (reading his lips) like " 'Gobbledeegook...' piece of sh*t f*ck you" (directed at the lawyer, obviously). HIS MIC IS LIVE WHEN HE SAYS THIS, he just is lucky that his microphone is so crappy that it doesnt even pick up half of his jet-engine-decibel-level coughs throughout the entire hour. Oh, how I wish the mic caught that and the judge would have had the opportunity to bury him then and there with contempt charges.

    42:00 This judge KNEW exactly what she was doing from the very start of this. She was brilliant, she knew going through all the exhibits he was trying to submit that it was a waste of time, but she still went through the correct motions, even numbering 17 exhibits and making sure she identified each one correctly. She knew what she doing and it is actually quite impressive. Kudos to her!!

    I don't think I've ever seen anybody do such a good job of actually keeping a "Sovereign Citizen" on track and continually moving all the way through the proceeding. I'm seriously impressed.
    His closing arguments were particularly hilarious, like he believes that if he says the magic phrases three times while looking into his phone screen that the SovCit Fairy will appear, wave her magic wand and the whole case will disappear.
    And "I do not consent to going to jail"? Wait, so you actually think that all of the inmates in all of the jails across the country are in there voluntarily? Consent has never had anything to do with whether you go to jail or not. I'm pretty sure that's actually kinda part of the whole definition of "jail" to begin with...

    Excellent video. I really liked that judge. She did an excellent job of handling that guy. She remained professional throughout, didn’t express any anger or ridicule towards the guy even though he certainly deserved it. Her composure while taking down a record of his 16 crazy pieces of evidence really was impressive.

    If you google this guy he's apparently a pretty prolific con artist. He's created dozens of professional profiles in basically every industry and claimed accolades in all of them. He's insane.

      Seeing that at 42 yrs old was arrested for selling unstamped cigarettes in Harris Co (Texas). Who does that? Sounds like when kids would sell cigarettes at school. Why do these guys check every box on the “idiot list” 🤦🏻‍♀️ he should never get his kid. Ever.

I'm a retired LEA dispatch supervisor of 18+ yrs, and I have seen firsthand how tough the life of a LEOs family can be. But I also know how rewarding it is.
