So everyone knows. The rider accidentally shut off the fuel. This being a “freebie” run, all he had to do was trip the tree. She didn’t understand that, and so I assume was attempting to remedy the fuel issue. Rider pushed her away in attempt to get on the line before the bike died, resulting in her falling and taking a fuel line with her-leading to the dq. Hope that helps.
Having her there and dressed like that was part of his show. He can't get pissed when it goes wrong. It was his decision to have her there. Trying to be another Jungle Pam. He reacted like a spoiled kid.
These tracks should stop this bullshit of all these team members swarmed around the car or bike while staging like in top fuel wiping tires, turning this, adjusting that, they should only let 1 person up there period.
So.....He intended to break the beam and didn't communicate that to his crew, she saw the fuel cut-off switched off as he came to stage, tried to turn it back on, rider tries to shove her away, fellow crew tries to pull her away, she thinks she needs to help despite this, gets properly pulled away and falls, tugging line as she falls (which should have been fastened properly)??? Communication is key
There is a LOT of misinformation here, so I will fill in. After the burnout, he accidentally hit the fuel shutoff. This means in a very short period of time, the bike will run out of fuel and stop. It is a bye run, meaning all he has to do is trip the lights with the bike running and he wins, he does not have to cross the finish line. The lady in the mean time, tried to put the dump can fuel line in like she always does. This takes a little time, and he would have run out of fuel before tripping the lights. So Mr. Tough Guy shoves her out of the way, to run up on the lights. She falls and in the process, pulls the fuel line out and fuel runs all over the ground. Any liquid leaks on the track, you are instantly disqualified.

Being that she had a hand on the rider's shoulder instead of both hands down under, I'm guessing that she was trying to tell him something related to the the task, otherwise there wouldn't be any reason to touch the line; surely nobody would grab such a thing to brace their fall
For one,I can't believe the comments on this from people who have no clue how to run one of these bikes.its her job after the burn out to transfer a fuel line from the dump can to the carb.we had a oil pressure problem and I was just going to break the beam, not make a full pass.she couldn't hear me because of my helmet and the bike is very loud.the bike we have here in the fastest in the world in pro fuel and we certainly know what we're doing.after 7 national records & numerous national championships.we are not drunk.on drugs or anything else.we had to thrash just to make it to the line for this pass and everyone was pretty frazzled.I'm sure this will bring more shitty comments, but I can't help that.if you Actully look at any of our other pass's on here you will see what she does to the bike after the burn out.we do go to all the AMRA & MAN CUP races if anyone would like to attend and actully say any of this to my face.but I'm really doubting that.you all have a good day
Why don't you let your crew chief do that, I mean he's not wearing high hills and all, seriously or have her at least wear tennis shoes or women's work boots, might not be so cute and all but she would not lose her balance so easy and fall, not trying to be stupid sounding ok, I've been racing bikes for 25 years, not exactly on your level but we move trust me, of course you know what we all say, when something happens, THATS RACING, so just a thought, keep up the great work,
I’m not slagging anyone off but why not wear appropriate clothing and foot wear then if she’s going to be doing something on the bike! Ok doesn’t look like a dolly bird but it’s practical that’s what matters when racing
At 1:37 you can see her left shoe does sick to the track by the way she steps towards the bike. If you slow it down to 0.25 speed, at 1:41 you can clearly see she has the fuel line in her hand & that the rider is pushing her away. Looks like her left foot stuck to the ground as the rider pushed her away & the other assistant tried to stop her fall. Why she was disconnecting the fuel line in the first place I've no idea.
Her apparel blocked the engine's air intake and the big guy tried to pull her off quickly without hurting her but could not also keep her balanced. Stuff happens, but a loose hanging apparel doesn't have to happen.
2Truth4Liberty no it didn't watch again and maybe learn something this time. Well at least see that it had nothing to do with her clothes. You really can't learn much from the video lol..
Wayne Bollentin "and learn something this time?" Geesh dude, are you so uptight that instead of having a rebuttal you have to absolutely try to ridicule someone like a child? Get over yourself dude. Its TH-cam
So many guys including me would die to have a woman support them in what they do. I hope you watch this video and see that. Bike and wins can all be replaced. But a broken heart is hard to fix.
The big guy tapped her back and then violently yanked her back like her clothes or hair were about to get caught in something . Definitely not a "fall"
That was painful to watch. I hope the driver watches how he acted in front of the world toward his own crew. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone. If my wife hit the deck like that I would not care about anything else.
If you slow the speed down to 0.25 you can see that she was either falling or being pulled away, ended up losing her balance and then reaches for something to hold onto so she doesn't fall but ends up grabbing a fuel line.
Actually her shoes/boots stuck to the track because of sticky compound they use. Yea she stumbled a little bit, but you have to lift your feet a certain way so it doesn’t stick. When she tried to regain her balance, she lost it.
His emergency tether was caught and the big guy pulled her away while she was trying to fix it subsequently killing the bike, dude was mad because he can't just hit the starter to get it running and if the bikes not running the pass is over.
I have drag raced for years, her feet stuck to the tarmac. I have had this happen to me at the track helping friend stage there car. A hot day will do this.
She was trying to do one thing, the driver was trying to do something else and the man in the black shirt was trying to pull her away as the driver broke the beam. Her boots stuck to the track and she lost her balance.
Looks like what happened was her jacket started to go into the intake and the guy saw it..tried to pull her away she lost her balance and trying to keep from falling tried to grab onto the bike and grabbed the fuel line yanking it out.
Where the fuck do you see a fucking "safety switch", are you fucking blind? She pulled a fluid line when she fell, you can clearly see it in slow motion. The rider pushed her back, as well as the guy behind her, clearly they didn't want her there. What a dumb bitch.
REM44MAG why so pissed? Maybe it wasn't a safety switch? I just saying NHRA mandates that bikes be equipped with a tether switch designed to cut the engine if the rider fails off usually worn around the wrist of the rider. Obviously you are not familiar with a top fuel Harley.
Note: Any time you are competing in anything and something or someone disrupts it (miscommunication or not) you are going to be upset, especially when it was essentially a free pass. I dont blame him at all for being upset in the moment but it was an honest mistake.
I once had a crew member inadvertently turn off the fuel valve, in the water before he fired me up. Made it to the tree dropping and the clutch coming out before running out of fuel. It was during qualifying and I laughed it off, as I always do. Now, had that been during eliminations then all bets would've been off! ;-)
She pulled the deadman wire, he was a real dick about it no matter what. Getting upset won’t change anything, prolly made things worse. Shows his character.

They are both trash... Need to get people like this out and away from a race track where smart safe people like to have fun... Both are complete idiot's
I hope you know she's switching over to the nitro mix this isn't her first rodeo they never told her that he wasn't going to make a pass but he managed to tell the dude filming through. his fault and his aggressiveness ended his day if you can't tell he jammed her with his forearm as she was doing her job on the crew like every other pass her feet stuck to the ground from the vht she just toppled over clueless of wtf was going on because she was never informed of the engine problems and the planed shutoff run. the engine builder was trying to tell not to switch over but to late
If you look attached to the front cylinder he has a fuel dump can. And the fuel line comes from the bottom and goes to the top. It is an extra fuel feed that goes to the carb for extra power. When it runs dry that's it. He also has two jets on top for more fuel that operate with a solenoid, same reason. It appeared she was trying to hook up the line from the top of the tank to a fitting on the carb when bonehead pulled her away with the hose in her hand. Just a little FYI.
What happened? Why is she on the track with her Lesbian style clothing? This is why women should stay put in the grandstands. The pissed off midget rider seems to have blood pressure issues.
I’ve seen something like this happen at a street class race, dudes wife was moving around the car taking pictures and she accidentally stepped on the line lmao
Really people you need to watch the video again. The track man pulled her to the ground and she grabbed the fuel line with her right hand. There was no need for him to put his hands on her.
SLAM BOY why would the #1 qualifier stage something like this and knock himself out the comp? U fuck tard! You're one of those idiots who comments fake under everything too aren't you ?
The fuel shut off got bumped in the burn out box. She moved the fuel line with her right hand to get to the fuel valve with her left hand. The guy in the black shirt pulled her away while the fuel line was in her hand, causing the fuel to leak out (you see it on the ground) and starved the engine of fuel. Had the guy in the black shirt just left her alone, there would not have an issue and he probably would have made a clean pass.
I thought her towel got sucked in, so that meant disassembly in order to free it up. A fuel line is a quick fix, and a coat tail would have been pulled out. Her towel is missing when she goes back.
Pulled a fuel line off too. All I saw was the fat dude tapping her on her hip right before she killed it. The track prep makes the ground so sticky, it will pull off shoes if they aren't laced up tight.
Important details... 0:59 assistant clips on dead man 1:40 it's hard to see but the rider pushes her away with his right arm pulling the dead man (kill switch) and stalling the bike. Look to the right of the guy in shorts. Found the follow up th-cam.com/video/S4SADsU1BeY/w-d-xo.html
#1 Kirby and Lana are good people. Lana is very pretty and nice, so stop with the mean comments. It was HOT and miserable. We parked in the shade and it was 107 in the shade. Nobody was making good runs and nobody was happy. It took everything we had just to breath and stay hydrated
It says in follow-up video he accidentally hit fuel shutoff and was trying to break beam before it died and didn't tell her. I think its rule you can't restart motor once your up there
Looks like they all need to hang it up. I've never seen anything so ridiculous. Esp a bi-run. I've read the comments, i get what happened. Ridiculous. The opposite of professional😅😅
Can someone explain to me why you are disqualified?? ( love the engineering that goes into drag racing but not familiar with the rules) is he not allowed re start the bike ??

Her boots were sticking to the rubber on the strip. At 1:36 you see her step up from being stuck, then getting pulled back she was stuck again and couldn't step back.

11bravo 01A is this english?
lol, wtf?? what is going on here???
his fault for having her there in the first place
I woulda been pissed to he got disqualified, and he was the #1 qualifier, there usually favorites to win
Just a little FYI.
tech sounds right but Im thinkin her foot stuck and she lost balance.. straight to her butt bones too lol
The fall looks fake to me.
What happened? Why is she on the track with her Lesbian style clothing? This is why women should stay put in the grandstands. The pissed off midget rider seems to have blood pressure issues.
Tommy 1 C. +lol "midget ryder" Tom you a hoot !😀✌
I’ve seen something like this happen at a street class race, dudes wife was moving around the car taking pictures and she accidentally stepped on the line lmao
Skip to 1:38
Really people you need to watch the video again. The track man pulled her to the ground and she grabbed the fuel line with her right hand. There was no need for him to put his hands on her.
Bishop i, watch the video again. The dude on the bike shoved her. Watch he's right arm.
staged
SLAM BOY why would the #1 qualifier stage something like this and knock himself out the comp? U fuck tard! You're one of those idiots who comments fake under everything too aren't you ?
relax man , don't get so worked up.
Ur a fucking idiot. not everything on the internet is fake u dumb fuck
WILSON 32 It was staged.
FAKE NEWS XD lol sorry couldn't resist
It's amazing how people as ignorant as that rider is could hold a world's record.
Doc- where did you get the black eye?
Woman- I fell on a motorcycle drag strip.
Doc- Suuuuure ya did. I'm calling the cops.
There's always that *ONE* person.
She way to old to be out there......
I thought her towel got sucked in, so that meant disassembly in order to free it up. A fuel line is a quick fix, and a coat tail would have been pulled out. Her towel is missing when she goes back.
I think she hit and knocked off his arm safety wire and it died.
Pulled a fuel line off too. All I saw was the fat dude tapping her on her hip right before she killed it. The track prep makes the ground so sticky, it will pull off shoes if they aren't laced up tight.
I don't know if I've seen a video with so much going on and only 2 minutes
Someone forgot to tell him there is no such thing as “bring your old lady to work day”. She certainly had no business being out there.
Important details...
0:59 assistant clips on dead man
1:40 it's hard to see but the rider pushes her away with his right arm pulling the dead man (kill switch) and stalling the bike. Look to the right of the guy in shorts.
Found the follow up

that's a nasty attitude
Why would Anyone want to Wear a Coat like that when Doing what She was Doing,Looks Ridiculous and Dangerous I Think
Women...........
5 foot tall grandpa race class. They are not allowed to ride real drag bikes eg:hayabusas
umm, real drag bikes? That is a 1,000 hp Nitro Harley. That is the fastest bike class in drag racing, period.
He's on a s&s pro stock engine. Its not a Harley.
Read the shirt. Vee Twin Nitro Harley.
Add air water derp
Hayabusa ain’t got shit on these bikes.
#1 Kirby and Lana are good people. Lana is very pretty and nice, so stop with the mean comments. It was HOT and miserable. We parked in the shade and it was 107 in the shade. Nobody was making good runs and nobody was happy. It took everything we had just to breath and stay hydrated
She’s a grandma and should act her age
If it leaked that easy from her knocking it, there's no way it would survive the drag race
What was she trying to do to that bike anyway?
It says in follow-up video he accidentally hit fuel shutoff and was trying to break beam before it died and didn't tell her. I think its rule you can't restart motor once your up there
Looks like they all need to hang it up. I've never seen anything so ridiculous. Esp a bi-run. I've read the comments, i get what happened. Ridiculous. The opposite of professional😅😅
White tuxedo jacket with jean cut- offs is never a good look 🤔🥴😂
She was bringing him a fresh sammich and some clean socks she just washed. The other guy was trying to make her go back to the kitchen for a beer.
1:39 Was she pushed or did she fall?
I think she was pulled back but her feet stuck to the track. The good news is she was not injured.
Looks like street outlaws the way she got in there
Skip to 2:00 to see best part
Wheres the women?
I think he didn’t want to make that pass. He said he was having fuel problems before he got on the bike.
The real crime here was the jorts that crew guy had on. 😂
Can someone explain to me why you are disqualified?? ( love the engineering that goes into drag racing but not familiar with the rules) is he not allowed re start the bike ??
He was DQ'ed for putting fuel on the track. His fellow competitors were willing to reinstate him since this was an honest mistake. Thanks so much for the feedback. Her boots were sticking to the rubber on the strip. At 1:36 you see her step up from being stuck, then getting pulled back she was stuck again and couldn't step back.
The guy who Spoke to her about the jacket , Gave her the Evil Eye .
Maybe he was supposed to be killed on that run, and fate made her do that. She could have saved your life bud, you’ll never know the answer.
