When you were watching the second move and the part where Marcus was getting Celine's blood memories, the first part when you saw the children playing that was her as a very young child when the prison was first built. The part when you see her as a teenager in Victor's arms, looking the way she looks now. Victor was holding her years later after Victor killed her family and blamed it on the werewolves. It didn't happen at the same time it's just the way they showed it. So her family built the prison when she was around 6 or 7-years old, many years later she was turned. You also must remember it's been centuries hundreds of years since she has seen this place.
