Never understood how none of the pros wanted Blizz to fix ZvZ when doing remastered, seems like having spores do extra bio damage would have been a great way to introduce some amount of diversity to the MU
Spores are actually fine against Mutas. The problem is that you are sacrificing drones to make them. And if your opponent sees that, they can just either drone up themselves, or do a ling all in.
@@Casual_Stroll Well yeah pretty much but that is not because spores are bad. They are actually the best anti air static defense in the game. The reason they usually fail is only because ZvZ economies are so tight that building enough spores to counters mutas will typically just auto lose you the game due to economy. And while your base might survive the mutas, you will be unable to leave to expand or attack for likely a long time, giving the other player more time to build up a bigger advantage.

@oldscoolest my understanding is that mutas can just ignore spores and kill drones and that's why spores don't really work, is that incorrect?
