I think they both sound freakin great, and the KSR has a bit a meaner top end. But this video sold me on the fryette. I think the 100 watts just sounds bigger when it gets louder and I play in a way too loud metal band lmao

Hi, Great video, I prefer the KSR more, the NFB control and hifi mode is a plus, I wish you'll make a comparison with the Pedal Baby in the future.

with the Tonex as preamp, the KSR PA50 for the win. more of a mid/lo mid emphasis in the voicing. thank you DMD - gained a sub!

They're both great in their own way. I roll with the PS100 too.
... I like that you're also testing what happens when you do what the DeLisle manual warns against.

Haha the "do not switch under signal conditions?" And "unused amps should be on stand-by or powered off." Yeah man I've used this thing for 2 years I believe and never had an issue. I just do it for the videos and quick comparisons on my own for fun. But yes, I'm not using as directed.

The Marshall by itself sounded the best 🎸

Both sound great! The KSR definitely has more mids, but the Power Station sounds “bigger”. If I had to chose, the PS-100 makes the most sense with the attenuation options and having a second channel.....but the KSR is still a killer amp! 🤘🤘

My thoughts exactly. Both are still killer for sure. Just depends on your situation!

Hi man, thanks for the info! I just recently got the PS-50 and after watching your previous video with the Quad Cortex.
Do you find some of the amps from the QC sound harsh with the Fryette? I'm wondering if it just my cab + QC combination or just some models don't sounds good from a real cab

Man that's a tough one to answer because there are so many variables to that. Personally I've always felt the QC pushes things at a higher frequency. I have the global set to push around 100 and cut the top in a little bit. I don't think it's a fryette thing personally

You should check out the Fender FR12 for your modellers dude, I’ve always loved the tube amp and real cab thing (i own a KSR PA50) hated any solid state stuff and just didnt gel with them. I was dead set against any frfr until i got one of these, It fcking pumps! 😜

Haha, man. One of these days. I've just been sooooo underwhelmed by FRFR setups and pushing an IR through it. But if I get around one I'll def check it out!

There's always this more scooped mid more low end tonality with the f ryette. I think overall The ksr sounds worlds better

At least with the tonex captures. The evh capture sounded better with the scooped fryette compare to the engle profile
