Your scrappy quilt looks great! Looks like you're having a lot of fun with your new toy. Nice Christmas gift from your husband. In order to prevent the fabric from sticking to the top of the mat when you lift it off Eleanor Burns twists the top mat instead of lifting it straight up. Look forward to seeing your review of the other dies.
I just got a Go off fb market place and went crazy with their December sale bogo deals so I'm well stocked with some BOBS and a cube set. My scraps aren't going to know what hit them Thank you for the video.
I’m doing a Hunter star quilt now and depending on how the pattern is written you will have 2 different stars (to make the arrow). If that’s the way the pattern is written then you should be able to lay down 1 fabric without having to cut and lay down multiple fabrics.
First I like the scrappy patchwork quilt that you have on the wall. Can you tell me about that quilt? Also I don’t have this die but I love that you have this video out on demonstrating this. I only want to use my dies to make scrappy quilts. Since you did this one I want to buy this one too. What is the name of this die? Also I bought my GO last October for a Christmas present to myself and I haven’t used it yet. I’m ready to use it after seeing this video.
The die I used for the quilt I demonstrated in this video is called the value die. Here is a link www.accuquilt.com/go-value-die-comes-w-go-fabric-cutter-not-included-w-go-baby-cutter.html
Here is a blog post I wrote up for the scrappy patchwork behind me. createbeautifulquilts.com/2020/09/23/two-layer-cake-quilt-ideas/#more-2280 It uses a layer cake!
@@sewbeitquilts Thank you for responding so fast!!!!! I’m ready to order it now. And I couldn’t get anyone at Accuquilt to answer and my quilt shop is closed.
What size are the little squares? What size is the big block 6"square? I bought the camper kit accuquilt its the go me. I have a big shot and I think those dies can work in this too, not sure. On point.tv has a video on the machines you can mix. What size is the big block sewed together?
You make it harder than it needs to be you're only supposed to do six layers deep and you're supposed to rub the top of the thing to defuse the static electricity and you're supposed to slide it off not lift it off.
I HAVE THE STUDIO CUTTER AND THE BIG GO! CUTTER, AND OVER 200 DIE FOR BOTH CUTTERS. I AM IN LOVE WITH ACCUQUILT.
Another great video! Great tips. Love the secondary pattern. Love my AccuQuilt.
Thank you!

Oh thank you so much for the tip! I have been trying to watch different things to help me with the accuquilt.

Thank you for the video.
The BOBs are my favorite!
@@sewbeitquilts so far mine too but I'm only a week in. Lol

That is exactly what I am hoping. I haven't opened the package yet to see, but I will soon.
I have an accuquilt, it’s better if you slide the mat off the die, not lift it up. In all their demo videos they say that and it works.
Thank you. I did figure it out after the initial uses.
If you slide off the mat instead of lifting it up you will find its less static 👍
Thank you for the tip! I am still learning how to use it, but am loving the accurate cuts!

@@sewbeitquilts Thank you for the directions on the patchwork quilt. I’m so excited about these new items you have introduced me to.

The little squares are 2” finished and the larger is 4” finished.
Is this made using the Value Die?

Who knew there was a whole science behind it! Thanks for enlightening me.
You are supposed to run your hand over the top of that and slide it off not lift it off because of the static electricity
Thank you for the tip, I'll keep that in mind next time!
Would you recommend the AccuQuilt?
Absolutely 🤗. You will be amazed at the prescion of your seams.
I agree with Mellie. The accuquilt and the dies can be pretty pricey, but the cuts are far more accurate than I could ever get them.
