  • Final Update: 10/21/21 DNA confirms by dental records the remains are Brian Laundrie. This brings the end to the search for Brian Laundrie.
Update: 10/20/21 Potential discovery of Brian Laundrie in the The Nature Reserve in F.L. along with human body parts was discovered a backpack and notebook. The area was said to be underwater up to this point. Parents joined the search as the discovery was found on the first day of the park being opened back to the public. The coroner was called in and parents notified yet to be determined if the DNA matches on the discovery, very active scene blocked off now close and to the public again.
Update. Body found on the Blue Ridge Parkway is a male from Rhode Island is being investigated as a homicide.
This video is to show people what the trail access to the Appalachian Trail looks like on the North Carolina Tennessee border. Hitchhiking is a strong possibility. You can see how close access can be from the trail into town or a ride. This is a spot that people leave food for hikers at. I was hoping to see a little more activity at this spot but till further clues are discovered we are kind of at a standstill. Our eyes and cameras could be the next thing that changes this case. Brian Laundrie needs to be caught and questions need to be answered. In this video this is Elk Park N.C. not Roan T.N. Both Roan and Elk Park are easy access to the Appalachian Trail for supplies.

Thanks for sharing a glimpse of how hikers can get hitch a ride to towne to get supplies. Rose, a friend of Gabby, states “he is out in the wilderness, I promise you. He lived in the Appalachians by himself for months.” But could Rose still be friends with Brian, and just leading authorities astray? Why is the FBI still at the Reserve searching? Keep on Cassie, maybe she will share more.

Places like Hot springs I seen people walking down off the trail. Excellent restaurant in the town to really good down home cooking. Lots of places to hide in those mountains you don't even have to be on the trail. Do they close the trail in winter months? Wouldn't surprise me if it's a magnet for homeless people. Keep showing us around I love those mountains I'm looking for a house up that way hope I find something. @@HighCountryRocks finally someone that might share the same kind of mentality I'm pretty sure he has. These people they have on news channels and other sites that are survivalist Rent thinking about the technology we have at out fingertips today. I go and spend months at a time in Shining Rock sometimes never see another person until I get back to a trail. And can survive sorry live extremely comfortably and only fire my gun if it's a defensive situation and never start a fire. Also you know good and well a cell isn't working out on these deep woods trails. I don't care who you have as a carrier. Sat phones and GPS message devices are what they need to look for. They sell cell phone accessories that will turn a cell into a sat phone on Amazon. The fbi dude from NC killed me when he said he can't survive a winter out there. Bullshit!!! I lived outside from November until March last year and was never cold. Again he has electricity be abuse of solar power. If he is like me he has a portable house basically in his pack. Now after a few months I'm going to need fuel or use fire but I can conceal the fire easy peasy. Water is something I can't make amd I have to find. That is where you constantly keep watch and focus on. Any place with water within a 2 mile stretch I'd even say 1 mile because he isn't thinking they have a clue.

@@HighCountryRocks like my thought immediately was Blue Ridge Parkway not the AT. Every hiker or outdoorsman knows that's like the Disney World of the woods. It's crazy busy some times more more others but it's always got people on it. You don't go there to hide. Plus alot of people came from a close entry point so they will know you. Like the dude that supposedly saw him which I think is the most credible thing they have. But day he takes 5he Moutains to Sea Trail! Yeah I know the what? Exactly nobody knows about it unless you look it up. But in all it runs all the way up the Appalachian Mountains just like the AT just branching to different trails. But nobody uses those as much. And if he has All Trails which any person like him has then he can use it offline and know what's busy and what's not. He can find waypoints, etc. All while evading capture. I'm just saying thats the route I would take if I were running and did the same things this guy probably did in his past with the hiking and all.
