Have one of the home versions and love it. I’ve had multiple spine surgeries and can’t really bend over easy to use a dust bin and this has been wonderful
The filtration problem would be really easy to fix. Using a metal shroud to catch the small dust, a pre-motor filter with a great seal and a HEPA filter on the back.
@@VacuumWars the only thing that has worn on it is the buttons from turning it on and off. (We keep it in manual mode because if the cat or dog walks in front of it, then it turns on.).
I have had 2 of the pros I a salon for just over 10 years and if I can be honest, I’m not super good at cleaning out the filters I definitely do that once in a while, but it could be as little as once every couple years. Having said that I have two that are the home version and they did not hold up as well in the salon. I have one that just broke recently, but I still probably have had it about five years.
my local haircut parlor has one of these between each station to sweep up hair after cuts and I would imagine that would be the perfect use case for these
I've been really tempted to get one for our busy litter box area that's a pain to keep clean and I don't like to lug the whole upright vacuum down the stairs to the basement... But it's sooo expensive! 😭 But thanks Vacuum Wars for doing this review! Are there any other brands or knockoffs that you found with similar specs?
Makita vs Milwaukee upright vacuum? Can they beat the corded industrial vacuum? I personally have my own homemade setup. I use a turbocat on a 5.5hp ShopVac and it seems absolutely unstoppable. I’m also curious what turbo head is best!
Genuinely curious... how is this any more advantageous than just buying a cordless battery powered vacuum? You're already sweeping, may as well use a vacuum and save a step?
Thanks. I noticed your broom had blue bristles. I saw another review of the home version using a black bristle broom and the sensors on the front had trouble detecting it.
I'm I'm the EU (Netherlands) and it's quite difficult to find an Eyevac here. I would love to have the pet version, but I guess the market here isn't big enough (yet).
James from freaking reviews found a flaw with them. the IR doesn't pick up a black brooms as well as light colors. so you have to get very close to trigger it.
Aren't built-in versions, as part of a central vacuum, common in kitchens? I would think, if you're building a salon, it might be worthwhile to add a central vacuum type for this reason - rather than buy, and replacing - these units at every station every 1-2 years.
I just found your page... could you give me your best robo vacuum for long dog hair? Ive watched all your videos from this year but I still cant decide... I am willing to a decent bit of cash, I really dont want to buy a 600$ unit if I am losing a ton of features that another 100$ may get me. The long dog hair keeps accumulating along the baseboards on the vinyl floors, and I have a medium mat carpet in 2 other rooms. Thanks!
For a home, seems better to just have a stick vacuum unless you had something twice the size of the pro and it’s hidden into a piece of furniture like a cabinet in the kitchen.
0:10 uggh the paper filter, this going to clog easily. edit: i finished the video. for the same money, one could get a wet/dry vacuum with a larger filter and dust bin.

“A stationary vacuum is stationary.” Only Vacuum Wars can make this sound profound and make me want to learn more.

Some people mentioned using a rubber band and a dryer sheet in the reviews
@@VacuumWars prefilters like the blue air filter. Gets the most of the stuff you can clean easily.
I actually love this. Especially for older folks or parents
“I gave mine to the lady that cuts my hair” so cool! Your best video
Yay! Thank you!
The salon my mom used to work at had the Pro version in black, always saved a lot of time and effort when I would go there and help her out
I have the home version. Use it all day, everyday. Hardly have ever had to empty/clean the filter in the 3-4 years of owning it.
That is good to hear! I'm glad you have been happy with it.

@@Ca31_Buff I wonder if we'll see a version of this with an AI camera that can differentiate between pets/babies and a broom/litter.

I would love to see you review the ivac trash can. It has that same vacuum on the bottom but the top is a regular size trash can with an automatic lid
my local haircut parlor has one of these between each station to sweep up hair after cuts and I would imagine that would be the perfect use case for these
This can also be for the kitchen as well. Gets dirty all of the time and I’ve seen ones built into the cabinets before.
That was an outstanding review. Kudos on all elements (content, video, audio and the tools you used to compare the vacuums). Great work...
Thanks so much!
IV seen the professional version in hair salons before and it seems nice!
interesting concept, can see why it's popular for hair salons.
If they made a spark safe version. It would be great for a workshop with no central vac.
A new Vacuum Wars video! Yessssss
Would be nice to see vacuums with self cleaning filters like dust extractors have.
This could be useful in a wood workshop! to pick up sawdust
can you use a shop vac or blow dryer to clean the filters by blowin air into the center and out the sides?
I can see trying that out outside!
So what vacuum would you recommend for Barbers even if it’s not any of these brands?

We haven't explored other models of these.

Will you be tasting the G10 Xiaomi?
Thank you! I don't think that vacuum is available where I am yet.
My good friend, have you reviewed the Kenmore bc3005? What is your thought on it.
do they have rechargeable battery version?
Not that we have seen. Maybe someday?
Could you review one of the older Samsung Powerbots? They claim to have 8300 PA Suction!

Yes I mentioned this in the first draft of the script, Im not sure why I took it out. Thanks.
Love your video kepp up the great work
Thank you.
Would you ever review a Rainbow SRX?

This was a unexpected review
When will be a video about neato D10?
I feel like if the push vacuum wasn't invented first we probably have these instead.
I've never heard of such a thing...it's like "add-on central vac". lol
Can you do a review on the Dreametech h11 max wet and dry vacuum?
I can't make any promises right now, but thank you for that suggestion.

k, whoever thought of this thing clearly doesn't know humanity enough
Ok but can't we just buy new filters every 6 months or so?

Who cares about filtration no difference than a dust pan
This is basically just a barber vac. For home use it’s not useful at all
