Ive recently download Nolvus V5 and it’s my first time playing fully modded Skyrim and it’s FANTASTIC. I couldn’t be more thankful for all the work you’ve put in. If you’ve done all this yourself then you’re an amazing human, if you had help you’re still an amazing human but so are the people who helped you to lol. My 4070 already struggling but v6 might kill it😂
How's it running on your pc? I got a 4070 as well with an I7 14th gen and 32Gb of Ram. Going to get a NVME this weekend to put the mods on since I didn't know till today that it has to be on a D drive.
@@themasterofdova1861 well I have i5 (the best one of the series I can’t remember the numbers and am to lazy to look them up) so depending on your cpu, it could do slightly better possibly. But overall my gameplay has been fine, I’ve experienced a few choppy moments here and there but I’ve put in a lot of hours so I’d say minimal. Cities are my lowest FPS but I’ll hover in the 30-40 range mostly with some dips to 28 or 29 but I played Skyrim on the 360 so I’m used to it. Overall I’d say it’s definitely playable. Haven’t had any real issues in combat and I’ve had minimal crashes. Definitely quick save often at the least in case of crashes. I also used like the performance ultra version with the RTGI off. Not to sound like a broken record but I would say it’s worth it with your PC.
@@themasterofdova1861 I'm running it on a RTX3080 and an i9 12900KF on a 3440x1440 Resolution. Constant 60FPS, except for areas with dense vegetation, which is pretty much the most power draining aspect of the Modlist. I recommend using PureDark's DLSS Mod for a better and more stable performance. It's behind a paywall but trust me, it's the best 5 bucks I've ever spent.
I so many times dreamed that day was somehow could all of those big mods that I love combined thank you created magnificent piece of art it definitely would not be easier 💗💗

There's gunna be a graphics only version of this that I'm planning on using as a base to mod from, I've never seen skyrim look this good.

Amazing work. Only thing i like to point out is the transition from roadstones to grass/dirt. Looks like there are some hardcuts that look pretty ugly but i guess you know that already ^^

Thanks!!! I'm using 4 different overhauls for solitude (custom patched) it took me 3 weeks for it (and i still have few fixes to do before the release)

I could never run this short of winning the lottery, but it looks neat.
Can't wait to play this. I have stalled on buying a computer to get the max power to run this. Tired of modding and game crashes.
After a while now in V5 playing at max settings, I just pulled the trigger on an open loop cooling sys for my 4090 as it's always on 97-100% and 84 deg.
Nolvus makes it worth the investment. May our framerates be high and soon... our temperatures low ;)

Is the list of requirements going to be the same as V5? If I have a pc that can run the ultra version on 60 fps would it run this on 60 fps too?

I'm considering using this list when it comes out. Does anyone know how combat will work? Are we expecting things like MCO (or any similar souls-like combat mechanics)? What about things like immersive interactions (drinking animations, picking things up, potion animations, helmet equip animation, let your hair down etc)? If this list combines gameplay with this level of graphics, it will be a no-brainer, easy choice to download.
I've just recently come around to the sensible idea of using a stable list made by an expert, rather than spend weeks trying to make my own list work; and this is looking like the best I've seen so far.
You have officially made the best version of Skyrim ever! I'm downloading v5 right now because I'm impatient. I hope my 3060 Ti can run this, at the very least on Ultra Performance LODs. Otherwise, I'll upgrade my PC just to play this list, lol.

When Nolvus 6 comes out, does that mean my save file for Nolvus 5 will not be compatible due to the significant number of mods?
No, v6 is a full new list but it's not for today so you have time to finish your v5 playthrough
now if only the skyrim engine wasnt so limited and could play cities this dense at a playable performance

Amazing as always. But did anyone else noticed, that hideous amrors guards were wearing? Hope those wont be in V6 release. V5 had amazing looking guard armors, I dont see a reason why to change it for this.

I'm really liking Nolvus v5. I can't say that I'm not IMPRESSED with the amount and quality of work put into this mod pack. It's truly stunning.
I'm glad to see that the Solitude interior is getting some love. Of all the cities that seem smaller than it should be, Solitude has always seemed ridiculously under-scaled.
I'm kind of sad that Epic Solitude is in there mostly because of all the giant statues and (to my personal taste) overdone "epicness" of some of the design choices. I'll just console command those out anyway. I admit the mod offers a lot otherwise.
I've always gotten a little laugh about Skyrim mods thinking cities are somehow also forested parks. I guess we all kind of wish they were.
Nothing is going to keep me from using this though. My nit-picking the small stuff in no way overshadows the incredible mod (and its' installer) that Nolvus truly is. It's that by which I measure other mod packs.

Where do the sons of Skyrim go? This is the best version of the guard armor.
It was an issue in the armor records forwarding from my patches, it's fixed since then, Solitude guards have sons of skyrim armors back ;)

For me it looks like the door mesh uses some wrong texture, since the wood UV is totally off. I don’t pointing to some missing tex or „reflections“ 😄

the problem with all these graphical mods is that it always lack the nordic vibe of the original game. But it's still impressive technically

My suggestions for next V6 Nolvus:
🗿 Putting numerous statues in city centers, especially those found at the entrance of Solitude, looks disturbing.
🎮 When adjusting LOD settings for low-end systems, there should be an option to only reduce the number of trees (for specific areas) while keeping the DynDOLOD quality high (such as draw distance, 3D representation, etc.).
💾 Instead of downloading excessive content all at once, there could be options during installation, similar to DLCs, where we can choose which mods to download based on our preferred gameplay.
🔄 If possible, there could be ready-made presets for many things (e.g., choosing from three different variants of HUD mods, two different options for guards' armors, preferred stances, character animations for running, walking, jumping, etc.).
🖌 When installing ENB and ReShade, besides selecting ENB and ReShade, there should be a system where a pre-made enbseries.ini and enblocal.ini with options for performance settings (low, medium, high) are installed through a tool like Nolvus.
🌼 Please avoid excessive flower placement everywhere; flowers are not always visually appealing. Instead of flowering trees everywhere, having uniform grass fields with high spread distance like wheat fields would look more aesthetically pleasing. (for Whiterun path especially)
📹 It would be nice to have official tutorial videos provided by you after the release of Nolvus v6, explaining settings in the MCM menu, the purpose of each mod, beginner tips, adjustments, etc.
🚀 Reiterating the same point, to reach more users, it would be great to have options in Nolvus installation where we can significantly increase performance without sacrificing texture quality, such as reducing object count instead of lowering graphic texture quality.
🔮 Instead of Strange Runes, there could be a better alternative. The current mod looks excessively unattractive, but when disabled, it's hard to tell if we have magic abilities.
🧙♂ There could be third-person perspective animations related to magic usage.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions. For flowers, statues this is your personal preference and i can't please 100% of people (tbh i love statues, flowers and vegetations, it makes everything more alive but it's only my opinion). The redux versions has less clutter, trees and vegetations tho. For the rest Nolvus is modular and way more than any other lists but i can't do miracles, what you are asking for is simply impossible first from a maintenance stand point and second i have like hundreads of custom patches so making pretty much everything customizable would mean thousand of custom patches (duplicated for each different mods configurations) even an AI could not maintain this.

@@TheVektor2012 I personally love all the flowers and statues. Makes the city alot feel more alive and lived in. My only small nitpick and of course this is a nitpick is some of the statues at like 0:51 for example just look a little to "new" compared to the old feeling of the rest of the city. But like I said it's a nitpick. Love what your doing.
The amount of time, effort, and sheer skill people still put into the superbly mediocre game that is Skyrim both fascinates me and makes me a bit sad. If Bethesda themselves put 1%, literally 1% of the love and dedication the modding community has put into their games into those same bloody games we might one day finally get something worth all the damn hype. Don't get me wrong, I realize this is literally the worst place to soapbox my fed-up-ness with Bethesda, but holy shit man.. this modlist, the Skywind/Skyblivion/Beyond Skyrim projects and so many more... Bethesda games don't deserve this much love, but I'm still kinda glad they get it.

No worry bro there are the ultra and redux versions if you don't like this one. This is the Ultimate version with maxed out cities btw (for ppl who likes clutter and have a big gpu)
Solitude market, whats up with it.. Capital city and market has 4 stalls? only selling fruit and veggies, FFS mod that shit first, visual candy is good, but immersion is sad..
i count 5 markets vs 2 in vanilla, always better.
