They need to just cancel the show. Love is not blind, people are people, and the producers are leaning into the trauma. Previous contestants have filed lawsuits because of how toxic this environment is....and yet they keep it running because people are still watching. And yet the contestants are willing to put themselves out there for potential gain (i.e. Deepti and Natalie are millionaires after being on LIB, even though they didn't end up married).....it's society. Just flipping wild.
And they would have to go to couples therapy EVERY week.
Yup, if they have the time to schedule background/criminal record checks, they can do this too!
Jimmy says he doesn't party, goes to see his friends for ONE hour for a bday and promptly comes home. Chelsea calls him a liar bc she expects him to stay locked indoors

Chelsea is exhausting. She is determined to sabotage her relationship with Jimmy. If she keeps it up, she will drive him away.
When she talks about her exes cheating on her and then seeing her behavior it makes sense. I bet she's always been this way and driven her exes into the arms of other women. That's not to make excuses for them, they're still shitbags for it, but she's so exhausting and obnoxious.
Chelsea is a whiny needy mess. Jimmy deserves a medal for dealing with her. Laura tries to be this strong boss babe chick but is ultra insecure, arrogant and toxic. I see a lot of red flags with Clay and AD. He is not ready for marriage and deep down she knows it. Johnny and Amy seem so normal and are the strongest couple by far, not just this season. It would be the biggest shock if they don't get married.
Yeah I got the same feeling from Laura. Like if you met her at a party she'd put on the tough chick front and you'd like her but as you spent more time with her you'd see how insecure and arrogant she really is. She's the type to scream at a barista or someone working at Target for making a mistake and then realizing she actually made the mistake but would just brush it off.

@@Aaron-kj8dv Laura is a "Karen" in the making. With all this fake strong facade, she was still hurt and embarrassed that Jeramy went for Sarah Ann after Dominican Republic. He played her like fiddle with such calmness and control, she didn't even realize it.
I'd also like to note, Chelsea flirted a lot with Trevor, but Jessica and Jimmy didn't flirt at all. I think part of that is because Jessica didn't entertain flirting with Jimmy, maybe if she had flirted, Jimmy would've as well. But still, it seem hypocritical of Chelsea to be so worried about Jimmy, but she was the one flirting with another man on camera.
Jimmy did say in reality Jessica is still his first choice, which made no sense to me. You can tell he was trying to flirt.

Anyways, that's kinda what I meant when I said Jimmy would've flirted if Jessica entertained it, but she didn't, so it wasn't as flirtatious as Chelsea and Trevors interaction. Since Jessica didn't reciprocate, he backed off and it ended up being just a normal convo.

Jeramy and Sarah Ann are like the Jackie and Josh of this season. They deserve each other and I meant that as a derogatory.
SO many of these contestants desperately need either therapy or a wake-up call to grow the hell up. Chelsea clearly is dealing with some major self-image and self-confidence issues that she's gotta address, and Jimmy's lack of words of encouragement really just amplifies that. Clay also still is dealing with the trauma of his parents' divorce. Neither are ready for a relationship, let alone marriage.

By minute 6:00 of this video, I know I am watching a very manipulative person who is exceptionally needy and thrives on drama. She told him it was OK to go for a drink, and she refused to come along, and now is putting him on the defensive and accusing him of going out with his friends. Did not like him much when he chose her, but as watched this, I can only hope he ends this relationship quickly.
He wanted her to break up with him so he would not look like a bad guy. In the end he had to do the dirty work. She thought it was another game of -"I will guilt you into taking me back"- "You called me clingy!" He is free.

I always said that Jimmy was my favorite bc his relationship has been tested and stretched, yet he still stayed respectful.
Chelsea's arc demonstrates perfectly how low self-esteem destroys relationships. First she chose Jimmy for validation rather than actual love, but then nothing he does will ever be enough to prove he loves her because she doesn't believe she's worthy of love. So she constantly badgers him and demands more proof all the while accusing him of not loving her. It's crazy making and pushes hum away. Then they make up and she thinks that's passion and she works very hard to believe that they are living the fairytale love story. I really hope they don't get married and she goes to therapy...

When Chelsea said “I felt more in love with you yesterday than I ever had,” it really clarified things. People who haven’t fully addressed their trauma will recreate it over and over again because that’s what their body has learned love feels like.

And, AD’s mom’s comments… on the one hand, yeah, your parent’s relationship mistakes are their own, that makes sense, but it also sounded like she was condoning the philandering partner because a long-term marriage is “something.” Seems she downplayed the parent’s as role model reality, & Clay’s trauma, as parent’s relationship with their partner greatly impacts children. AD’s mom was giving, what seemed to me, very conflicting, mixed messages. Yikes 😬

I think that the problem in Clay's family situation is that his dad took him along when he was out cheating. In my book, that reeks of perversion. If anyone here deserves healing, is Clay. For his own future, whether he is poly or monogamous. It is a devastating injury what he had to endure growing up.

I see a lot of people talking about Chelsea. But no one is talking about what I thought was the worst thing: her talking about Jimmy's sex life on camera?? After he told her (which shows he wasn't trying to hide it) and asked her to not tell on camera?? That would be an imediate deal breaker for me. A full breach of trust. And it's implicating not only him but the girl to whom he promised that she could be on the show without anyone knowing that part. Disgusting.

Was happy AD took Sara Ann to task. Yes Jeramey was the one in the relationship and out all night but Sara knew what she was doing, very classless. That said Laura should be taken to task at the reunion as she didn’t like Sara Ann reaching out to her fiancé to leave the door open but was encouraging Jess to do so to Jimmy.

I was so surprised when Sarah Ann said that the day she talked all night with Jeramey he told her he was breaking everything off with Laura. Looking back at that episode, he absolutely lied to Laura. I know Laura's delivery is very abrasive but just out of respect for their relationship he needed to take accountability, be honest and break things up without lying.
Unpopular opinion: Sarah Ann's text wasn't super inappropriate. She just mentioned IF anything were to change, then they should talk. She didn't wedge her way into their lives.

Listen, I understand Chelsea's insecurity, I really do. Once they gained access to social media she found out that her fiancee wasn't really attracted to her at first sight, and Jimmy DID make a lot of weird remarks about other women that a dude who's in love with his girlfriend wouldn't make. I get it. But if someone is acting in a way that drives you nuts with insecurity, there's absolutely no excuse for you to become emotionally abusive instead of leaving. The door is there, remove yourself before you become a million times worse than whatever it is your partner did to make you insecure. I've witnessed too many people turn to emotional abuse and manipulation because they chose not to leave a relationship that didn't make them feel secure or good about themselves, and I feel like we should start stigmatizing that more. If being with your partner makes you feel so bad about yourself that you start treating them like shit, leave. You have no excuse not to leave.
